Nick!

This afternoon, we were joined by Nick and his faithful assistant/GF for some super senior portraits! We made a valiant attempt to complete the whole session, but we figured that Nick wouldn’t be too keen on the ‘it’s raining on me’ look that we could have had. His loss. Well, we will hold out for the giant fireball in the sky instead.

We will now display just a smattering of the work that we managed to complete in spite of the stupid weather. So sit at your computer and keep refreshing the page in anticipation of when the rest of the shoot of Nick will be posted.

Good luck, bloggers – keep refreshing for about a week or so, don’t sleep, and – Enjoy!

Tiffany!

This morning we were joined by the lovely Tiffany and her trusty assistant (Mom), for some early to rise Senior Portraits! Tiffany was great, we were rip-roaring to go, and we made the best of our time together!

Tiffany was totally great – absolutely wonderful to work with! We only did the outdoor portion of the shoot today, and will be adding the indoor section just a little later. So for now, take comfort in these photographs that we offer, and keep peeling your eyeballs to see the super-swell conclusion to the shoot – Enjoy!

Tony & Renae

This past Saturday, we had the great honor of being a part of the wedding of Tony & Renae! You may remember them from their previous visit to the blog – or you may know them in real life – either way they were absolutely great to work with!

We ventured to the great city of Kenmare for the big event. This was our first time working in the big city, and we had a wonderful time! Everyone was great – family, friends, wedding pary were all rockin’! Even though the wind was blowing a little on the insane side, The happy couple didn’t even let it phase them.

We thank Tony & Renae and wish them a heartfelt congratulations! Thanks to you and your families – Enjoy!

Give It Up One More Time For Kip

Kip joined is this afternoon for the completion of his super-fantastic photo session. You can find his previous post here. We tried different things today, and thought that we would show you a side of Otis & James that you may not be familiar with – the side that likes to take really really bad photographs.

First off, a really good photograph.

Next up, a really bad photograph.

We will occasionally take these really bad photographs to just ‘keep it real.’ We have no intention of giving something like this back to our clients, we just want to make sure that we can still do it. And, it looks like we can. That way if bad photography comes back into fashion, we are good to go.

This may seem crazy, but I don’t make up the rules to the true art of photography, I just follow them whenever I’m not bloggin’ away the day.

Thanks to Kip for rocking it up as usual, and thanks to everybody else out there for just being yourselves – Yojne!

Loni. Loni. Loni.

Let’s keep this short and simple. We had a pizza party. David was patient. Megan was awesome. Loni rocks. Here’s the proof – Enjoy!

Andrea!

After some last-minute high-level negotiations between Otis & James, Bishop Ryan, Erin and our stylist Hope, we were finally able to meet with our new Senior friend – Andrea! She came down to the studio this afternoon and we totally rocked it out for the indoor and downtown section of her session.

And then the wind came. Again, good ol’ Ma Nature showed that no matter what you may think, she always holds the upper hand. Well, we’ll show her as we will just come back another day to complete our time together with the lovely Andrea. So all of you out there in Blog-Land (that’s right off of Burdick), keep on peeling your eyes to see the exciting conclusion. So stay tuned, and – Enjoy!

The Wonder Twins

Tonight we reunited with two of our Original Seniors (click their names to see their previous posts), Carol and Kayla!

Guess what kind of pictures we took (hint: sports related). They – as usual – were a total blast to work with! The studio was filled with crazy amounts of energy, while at the same time being a place in which homework can be completed.

We thank this super-duo for coming on down tonight, and here’s some snaps from the festivities – Enjoy!

Nathan In The Morning

This morning, Otis & James arose to work with Nathan and his lovely Assistant/Sister! It was a truly beautiful fall morning, and we totally took advantage of it. Not only did Nathan bring his A game to the land of Otis & James, he also brought along a pickup truck that was a true pickup truck. None of this 4 Door luxury afraid to get dirty kind of ‘pickup truck’ that has become all the rage.

No sir, this was a real honest to goodness working hard for the money sort of truck, and Nathan was a real deal honest to goodness working hard for the money sort of Senior. He was totally and completely great to work with! We thank him and Sis for making the trip to see us so early in the AM, and offer up some pics of the day as a reward – Enjoy!

And as a special added treat!

Casey & Keith…One More Time!

The day after the last visit from Casey & Keith, winter came. So it was with a little trepidition that we began our time together today (you can find their previous posts here and here,) Perhaps Keith has some sort of a ‘weather mojo’ working. If the snow came last time, what would it be this time? Fire?

We tried not to anger them and arise their ‘weather anger’ in fear of the retribution that would be had, so we worked and worked to give them the best we possibly could. I do believe we did good – but alas it was not just us that did good, it was this Watford Duo (givin’ some respect to my peeps all up in the WC – Peeeeeeaaaaaaace) that really did all the work. All that we did was drive them around.

We thank both Casey & Keith for all of their hard work and look forward to seeing them again (they are now part of the family) – Enjoy!

And then Keith pondered life, while Casey prepared to board her invisible jet.

Sundays With Erin

Up next in our Super Senior Sunday was Erin! What can I say about Erin…hmmmmmm…how about that she totally and completely tore it up here at Otis & James Studio of Photograpic Arts and Sciences (or O&JSOPAS for short)!

She was a dream to work with, and this ease came through in her session! She had a beautiful day, and she didn’t let it get away. Well, seeing as how I’m just quoting lyrics, I will now stop all of this blogging nonsense and get on with the real deal – Enjoy!
