Aubrey!

Shucks, man…it’s time for us to take a looksie at some more supersweetseniorsnaps, and this time our guest of honor is none other than good friend of Otis & James, none other than the lovely and talented Aubrey!

She continues in our Series of Siblings (SOS, if you would like) that have come through the FunCenter For Fun (FCFF, if you would like) this year, and in keeping with this tradition, not only did she rock as hard as those which went before her, she continued in the dream that is our existence and improved upon [read: rocked harder, as she was shown the ways of SeniorSnaps by her equally lovely and talented older sistah] this previous work.

Let me break down that last jumbled mess of words that was that previous paragraph: she rocked, straight up, no doubts, and since we had worked with her before, we knew she would rock tough. I think that I have used the word ‘rock’ over 72 times in the past three paragraps. That’s incredible.

So, before this post devolves into me just going ‘Rock, rock rock rock ROCK RoCk!’, me thinks it be time to offer up a big plate of thanks to Aubrey for being so wonderful and gracious to work with, and to all of you out there in your data receiving stations – Enjoy!

Eric & Amanda

…and then…then there was the wedding of good friends of o&j, Eric & Amanda! You know what, I could spend all sorts of time here expounding upon all that was during this lovely day. I could go on and on, off on all sorts of different tangents about some crazy random stuff that really doesn’t pertain to anything, but would I really be doing a service to this wonderful couple, or would I just be sullying what was an absolutely wonderful day!

So, what I’m going to to instead is just give you a bunch of words and phrases, and you can create your own blog post. Ready? Here goes:

  • Fun!
  • Lovely!
  • Wonderful!
  • Awesome!
  • Sweet!
  • Gorgeous!
  • Super!
  • Touching!
  • Splendid
  • SuperAwesomeTacular!
  • SweetSweetSnaps!
  • Like To Take a Moment
  • Wonderful Wedding Party
  • Gorgeous Bride & Groom
  • Rockstars of the Highest Order
  • muchlove
  • Enjoy!

Alright, this way, you can all – on your own time – put together your own blog post. Then you can skip all of my RigamaRoo, and get right to the good time pictures that you’ve all been wanting to see. So, without any further delay, Eric & Amanda – Enjoy!

Ash & Rachel

…and then on the Saturday Saturday past, it was time for us to spend a little bit of o&j quality time with none other than the wündercouple themselves…Ash & Rachel! Now, if you are a good student of the blog, you should know that we’ve already taken their e.pics, so this would mean that it was now time for the main event! But, if you are a slacker student (like your Uncle Otis is…), then I will just straight up tell you, it was their wedding. But seriously, if you didn’t know this from just glancing down the page, you may want to seek medical attention because your head wound appears to be getting worse.

Ummmmm…moving on…it was their wedding! Hip Hip…Hooray! We have worked with this wonderful couple before, in fact, the superlovely Bride was even in a wedding of one of her Bridesmaids that we shot this summer, except the Bridesmaid was a Bride, and vice-versa…uhhh…well, you can figure this out. She was an awesome Bridesmaid (well, she was the Maid of Honor, to be factual) – in fact, her speech she gave at the reception was one of the best, if not the best, Bridesmaid speech that I’ve ever heard at a wedding. I’ve heard many. Many of them come after much libation intake, and many of them are sobbing, meandering, structually unsound, and loooooooong (remember, future bridesmaids, there is no reason to mention any previous boyfriends/engagements/husbands…ever). Not Rachel. Oh no, she was in control, concise, easy to understand, and came in at about the three minute mark. Perfect! Have I gone off the tracks here?? Alright, back to the subject.

So it came as no suprise to us that this wedding, the wedding of Ash & Rachel was an absolutely lovely event! Well planned, with much thought put into all of the details – again, perfect! And that was how the whole day was, absolutely perfect – and it made our job one of ease, as we just showed up and they did all the rest! We would now (and when I say we, I mean all of my different personalities) like to spend a moment giving thanks to this wonderful couple, their wedding party and their families for making our day wonderful, and to all you friendly glowing people of the blog (you really should have that glow checked out, have you been near radiation lately?) – Enjoy!

Derek & Tammy

Some months ago…let’s see…it must have been all the way back in the cold month of January, we had the goodgreatly opportunity of being in the Fianceé Bridal Show! We met all sorts of friendly people, some of which even became part of the O&J Family (dysfunction not included!) We had a great time that day, but the big part of the day was when the grand prize winner was announced.

Much anticipation filled the hall as her name was read…who would it be??? As it turned out, it was none other than our lovely Bride herself, the one and only Tammy…who actually was by her one and only self at the Bridal Show! It was a truly touching moment when she made it onstage and was presented with the grand prize!

Fast forward about nine months, and we found ourselves at the big event. It was finally here, and I’m here to report that it was a beautiful day! We had a wonderful time working with this lovely Bride & Groom (and their totally awesome wedding party), and we would like to thank one and all for being so great to work with! We’re happy that we had the opportunity to be a part of their wedding, and we wish them all the best in their life together! But enough of all this sentimentality, let’s get to some sample snaps – Enjoy!

Matthew.

There’s a song by the band known as the Velvet Underground, called Sunday Morning. I used to work at 7:00 AM every other Sunday morning for a few years. Before I would leave my little apartment, I would put this song on my little CD player, and I would try to feel normal. I hope that Matthew…not me Matthew…but the Matthew that we had the good fortune of working with this past Sunday mornining, I hope that he didn’t have to do this.

But if he did, it worked. Because even though the birds were chirpin’, the sun was shinin’, and the whole of Minot was slumberin’, he tore it up…crazysundaymorningstyle. Perhaps older sistah gave some coaching, but whatevs, he still tore it up. I’m not ever sure I know what this means, but you can figure it out.

And what better way to help you with this figuring process than through less words, and more snaps. Thanks be to Matthew (gift of God, by the way) for being so good, and to all of you out there in blogerland – Enjoy!

Jason & Amy!

…and then on Thursday, we had the good gosh great golly almighty pleasure of working with soon to be o&j Bride & Groom, none other than Jason & Amy! It was not just to wish us a good ending to an already good day…oh no…it was for some superfantatical e.pics (shout out to Amy from Billings for giving us the new vernacular…and for those of you still wondering, I’m talkin’ E-ngagement Pics!)

From our previous exchanges (that sounds pretty robotic, which I assure you they are not), we knew that this couple would be wonderful to work with. What we did not know is that they were not only going to be bringing their bright and cheerful selves to the FunCenter, they were also brought the goods. What I mean by this is that they were total and complete rockstars of the highest degree, and we can not wait until the big day so we can really see the goods.

But really, if there was a need for so many words, there would be some sort of a bag of words wating for us every morning as we leave our houses, and seeing how this is not the case, I’m going to stop with the words, and get to the snaps. Much love to Jason & Amy for being so wonderful to work with, and to all of you out there in land of blog – Enjoy!
