I’ve been known to ‘shoot the hoops’, ‘toss around the ol’ ball’, ‘play some one-on-one’, ‘go in for the dunk’ from time to time, but I’ve never actually played basketball [cue rimshot]. I’m sorry. That one just wrote itself. It’s just that anybody that knows me knows that when it comes time for me to write something about sports, I’m going to have to lie. Don’t get me wrong – I wish I knew more about sports, I wish I played more sports (as does my Doctor,) but the chips never fell that way. The chips never fell? Whatever. See – even trying to talk about sports I’m getting all confused. So, I’m not going to be all hip and pretend that I know about things that I really don’t know anything about. I’m just going to give you the straight dope. And that’s that Keegan was wonderful to work with. He was a gent, straight up. No jive.
