DBDBCU v.4 . Andrea Edition

After 16 months of photo shoots, we at Otis & James were sad to conclude the Senior Portraits of our dear old friend Andrea this past Wednesday afternoon. When we started this odyssey, the internet was some sort of a crazy myth, gas was $.85/Gallon, and the times were easy (or actually hard, but we all loved hard work as it brought out more of our rugged individualism.) Plenty has changed since these days, but one thing has remained true. And that is Andrea.

Through it all, she has bee a rock of good poses, excellent outfit changes and good friends (i.e. Michael)! You can find this in her previous posts here and here, and you can find the same thing in this, her final image of the shoot. Our time was spent playing in the snow, and she was (as usual) totally awesome! Come winter, spring and fall, there will always be Andrea, and for that we thank her – Enjoy!

DBDBCU v.2 . Lee Edition

Sometimes you have to work hard to get a good shot, and sometimes the people that you work with make the shot. Well, this past Monday evening we had a family in the Otis & James Super Studio that came with their own poses all ready to go!! They were awesome, and their ideas totally rocked. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to conclude our day! We would like to thank this lovely family for taking time to visit us, and now would like to offer up a couple of snaps from the festivities – Enjoy!

DBDBCU v.1 . Kastner Edition

Bright and early this past Monday morning, we were joined by two lovely bright eyed ladies for some super-duper totally sweet portraits! These two were absolute dolls to work with – in fact, they even brought a frog!! Isn’t that a crazy way to start a Monday?? We thank these two for being so great to work with so early, and would now like to show just a couple of snaps from the fun that occured – Enjoy!

Day Before Day Before Catch Up (DBDBCU)

My fellow bloggers. I’m not sure if there truly is two g’s in bloggers, but blogers looks like it very well could be a part, or a tool, or a part of the Starship Enterprise…but this is all besides the point. I come to you tonight, this eve of eve’s with a little pre Christmas treat. For behold, there is to be this night (which is also six months until my birthday for those of you that are anxiously awaiting that blessed event…anyone…anyone) a Holiday Feast of entries to be made.

So again, I ask you to come down this avenue of treats, this boulevard of delights, this cul de sac of joy, this parkway of fun, this two land divided highway of mediocrity with me, and Enjoy – but only in moderation unless you can provide a valid ID.

The Family Buss!

New friends of Otis & James, the Family Buss (soon to be and current) stopped by the studio Sunday evening for some super-duper holiday time portraits (’tis the season, after all)! We got all sorts of pictures with this youthful and energetic bunch, and would like to offer up some snaps from our time together – Enjoy!

Roxy-Mama & Bid Daddy Jeremy!

Our day came to a thrilling conclusion with a visit from our super-duper-old-musical-brassy-friends Jeremy & Roxy (you can call her…Roxanimal.) We can harldly wait until their wedding this coming summer, and we are glad to say that not only will we be working the event (which sounds kind of creepy), but our very own James will be in the event (which sounds even creepier)!!

Ohhh…thank you to the lovely two for playing in the cold with us, and then for warming up with us (very creepy sounding) in the studio. Well, let’s stop all of this creepitude and move on to the snaps – Enjoy!

The Family Weeks!

Up next this afternoon was a visit from our new friends, the Family Weeks! This family was totally awesome to work with – truly truly they made our duties as O&J Photo-Graphers a breeze! They were all so enthusiastic, and completely photogenic. I have said before how lucky we are to have such great clients, but we will say it again because it is so true. We are greatly priviledged to have such a great group of clients. Thank You, One and All!

Well, before I get overly sentimental (notice how mental is a part of that), I will move on to the best part of the post, and that’s the photographs. To all out there in blog world – and especially to this wonderful family – Enjoy!

Kasey, Sis and BF (that’s boyfriend)

First thing this morning, well, it was not really first thing – but anything that’s before noon still feels like it is too early, we were paid a visit from Kasey and her gang of photo-bandits! We had all sorts of fun, and got all types of different photographs – some with Sis, some with BF – like I says, all sorts!!

We’re throwin’ out a big Otis & James thank you to this roving group of fun for taking time on the last Saturday before Christmas to come visit us. We’re more fun than the mall. Enjoy!

The Family Luther!

Our day yesterday came to an end with a visit from our new friends, the Family Luther! They all got right into the Holiday spirit, and some members of this family (perhaps a daughter) had a ton of great poses just waiting (she’ll be a great Senior!)

We want to send this family a big thank-you for taking time this evening for us, and would now like to offer up some pics from the night – Enjoy!

The Children of Diehl!

If you notice a similarity between the title of this post and the title of the previous post, it is no coincidence. No, my friend, these two entries in the blog are not just located near eachother, they are in fact of the same family group! Grandma could be there for not just one shoot, but got two for the price of one!

These two young men listened to me ramble on forever on what it was that I had for breakfast (the answer is a bowl of zebras), and the laughs just kept on-a-comin’ (the under 10 crowd is a great group)! We thank everyone (that’s you, Mom) for coming down here today, and would like for everyone to sit back and enjoy some photo-graphs from the day – Enjoy!
