Fargo Adventure Post No.1 || The Johnson Family!

After our most wonderful wedding this weekend, The Otis & James Caravan of Love loaded up and headed East, to the land of rivers so red and famous wood-chippers…Fargo!  We don’t need to waste no time with all sorts of words (as I am known to do…I like to type, what can I say,) so instead we need to take a look at one of the two wonderful shoots we had – and it was with our dear old friends, the Family Johnson!

This beautiful group (which seems to have added an additional member) has been with o&j for quite some time now – if memory serves, we started with them all the way back in 2006!  But now is not the time for trips down memory lanes or any more words – let’s just get to the goods!  So, we want to send MuchLove to our dear friends, and to all of our good peeps out there in Land of Blog – Enjoy!

Late Night Quick Tease: Allison & John

These two pics really don’t count as the Quick Tease, it’s just that I happened to be going through the wonderful wedding images that we had the pleasure of taking this past Saturday and came across the last two of the night.  Before we left the reception, I went up on to the dais to get a shot of the dance floor, as the song ‘Unchained Melody’ was playing and everybody loves a slow dance (and it’s a dang good song.)

Anyway, these were the final two images, and they kind of sum up the whole day – absolutely lovely.  There will be a real quick tease post coming up later, but it’s late, it’s my blog, and I’ll post of I want to.  MuchLove and – Enjoy!

So…what did we do this weekend?  Well, we finally had the great honor of being a part of the beautiful wedding of Kimberly & Justin!  And that made our weekend absolutely perfect!  Thank you so much to the lovely couple and to everyone that made the day such fun for us – you are all so beautiful!  But enough of all these words and exclamation points, you should instead just gaze at the lovely quick tease pics above all these silly words – Enjoy!

Quick Teaser: Melissa & Jonathan!

This past weekend the Otis & James Caravan of Love left Minot and headed to a magical place called St. Cloud, in the land of ten-thousand lakes!  And we weren’t just there to visit The Red Carpet, we were there for the wonderful wedding of Melissa & Jonathan!  They were the kick-off to our wedding season, and we couldn’t have had any better a start!  But now is not the time for words, now is the time for a Quick Tease of the festivities!  So, without any further delay – Enjoy!

Hope Village ‘Day of Hope’ // Saturday, March 24th

Hope Village

Some of you may already be aware, but if not there is an exciting new part of the 2011 flood recovery happening called Hope Village – and they need your help in preparing for the project to begin.  On Saturday, March 24th (that is tomorrow!), they will be holding a ‘Day of Hope’, and they need local volunteers to help with set-up, cleaning and general organizing before the volunteers arrive.

Those wishing to help tomorrow are asked to bring their own lunch; water will be provided.  In addition, they are looking for people that can help with building steps, cleaning bunk trailers, assembling furniture and other general setup.  Here’s the vital info for what is going on tomorrow:

If you are unfamiliar with the Hope Village project, here is a brief description of what it is and what they will be doing:

With the approval of the Minot City Planning Commission, Hope Village serves as the lead organization with the City of Minot for the organization and coordination of 501(c)(3), religious, and other volunteer organizations serving the people of Minot. Centered through Our Savior Lutheran Church in southwest Minot, Hope Village partners have already assisted countless families in the Minot area.

Our work is first with those in a community who are the most vulnerable: the poor, the disabled, and those who will have the hardest time recovering (which often includes relocation assistance). Uninsured and under-insured homeowners will receive assistance in clean up, repair and rebuilding of their homes. The process of case management identifies those who are in greatest need and will receive our help by a priority system.

Class of 2013!  It may only be February…but it’s time to book your Senior Portrait Session!
