Amber!

This is Amber! She came down to the FunCenter this last week to have some superawesomeseniorsnaps taken. She made the appointment a while ago, and because the schedule had filled up, she found herself getting in just a couple of days before Thanksgiving!

Zoinks!

Little did Amber know at the time, but the day that she wound up getting was going to be, perhaps, one of the most beautiful days I have ever seen that was just two days before Thanksgiving! It was, like, jorjous (that is how they say ‘gorgeous’ in Europe, yo) outside! Birds were singing, children were playing, records were blasting rocking tunes, the sky had seven rainbows, there was a marching band, the mayor was there to present us all with awards, there was a kangaroo petting zoo, and there was this one period where $100 bills were falling from the sky.

Wait.

Part of that may have been a dream that I had, but I’m pretty sure the majority of it was true. We had an absolutely wonderful time working with Amber, and we got some sweetlysweet shots along the way as well! We’d like to thank both her, and her personal assistant (Mom) for stopping down to the FunCenter on such an absolutely wonderful day! To my faithful of the blog, sitting so patient next to their computers, waiting waiting waiting for the next post to go up – Enjoy!

The Children Borud (and Doggie Too!)

There was a time, perhaps it was even just this past week, when the doors to the FunCenter opened up, and before us stood The Children Borud, along with their special guest Doggie (which, my memory has grown weak on the name, and for the sake of me, and you and everyone else out there, Doggie shall be its moniker), and personal assistant, Mom, came down to get some supersweetholidaysnaps just in time for the Holidays, and (and I know that to the experienced reader of the blog, this next part is probably not going to come as a suprise) get some supersweetholidaysnaps is just what they did!

They were pros. They came in, military assault style, established a perimeter around the studio, assessed the situation, and then drove into the heart of the FunCenter, the goal being total and complete domination of their shoot. They was good. Real good.

MuchLove to this wonderful group of Borud offspring (could that sound any more technical?…I love it!) and their guests for stopping by on a day so lovely, and to my peeps of the blog, working so hard to keep it oh so real – Enjoy!

The Family Swenson!

Seriously. How often is it that the day before Thanksgiving, you are able to go outside for some superawesome bro/sis shots? I say, it was miraculous that we were able to do such a thing!

And, what luck for the Family Swenson that the day which they had booked oh so long ago would wind up being such a wonderfully beautiful day for us to do such a thing! We had a wonderful time working with this spirited group, and we hope that their Turkey day was filled with much stuffing, and all that other good stuff!

But enough of all this mumbling on and on about one thing or another, and let’s get to the part where we get to look at exciting and happy pictographs! Many thanks to the Family Swenson for stopping by the FunCenter, and to all of my peeps out there in the land of blog – Enjoy!

The Family Buchanan!

Now, I’m pretty sure that during this shoot, there was a puppydog that loved to lick my head from time to time…mmmmmmm…deliscous bald head. Umm, now, I was coming down with a lil’ bit of a sickness at the time, and memories are kind of sketchy. I mean, I hope that it was the puppy that loved to do this. Because, I don’t even want to think about what the other options are in this situation.

Moving on from these odd thoughts, the Otis & James Center for Fun and the Study of Pizza Research and the Effects on Thirty-Two Year Olds If Fed on a Continual Basis (O&JCFFATSOPRATEOTTYOIFOACB) opened up its doors to an absolutely wonderful group of people that we shall know from this point on as the Family Buchanan!

These long-time old-friends (in fact, some of these wonderful family members are basically responsible for the path that led to the FunCenter…crazy, huh?!) of Otis & James were a lovely bunch to work with (I won’t even call it work, I’ll just call it spending a little bit of quality time with them), and we thank them for stopping by on their evening downtown adventure (who knew that downtown actually had any evening adventure?)

Well, I think it be time that we forget about all of these silly words, and throw some love in the direction of one and all of this family for coming down to the FunCenter! And to all of you all of you all of you all out there in the land of blog – Enjoy!

The Family Kelly!

I’m going to make something supah dupah clear to you out there reading this. Are you ready? Can you handle clear? OK, if you say so. Here goes: The Family Kelly knew what the deal was. They knew the story, they knew the score. There were no ‘deer in headlights’ moments going down during their shoot.

Veni, vidi, vici. They came, they saw, they conquered. Straight up. I don’t think I can be much clearer, so I will leave it at that.

Before we go, we gotta give some love to this wonderful family for taking some time this evening and giving it to the FunCenter – we all had a wonderful time working with everyone! You are all awesome! Alright, enough of that, and on with the snaps – Enjoy!

The Family Ramirez!

You know what time it was during this last week? Hmmm? I bet you’re sitting there in your flannel pajamas with your cup of hot cocoa thinking to yourself that you know the answer to this, you’re thinking it was the time for Thanksgiving! And, to a certain extent, you would be correct in this assumption, but unfortunately, that’s not the answer that I’m looking for.

The correct answer that it was time for another installment of the Family Ramirez Super Family Portraits! Hooray! And…as a special treat to this lovely family, none other than yours truly, good ol’ Otis had the great pleasure of not just hiding out in the front office with Ben while the ladies of James did the shoot…oh no…he actually got to DO the shoot! Hooray for Otis! He can work a camera! Who Knew??!!

As usual, they were perfect. Now, seeing as how Reba (the red head) is the sistah of Jamie, and Little Jesse (he’s the smaller man) is my Godson, and how Jessie is the husband of Reba (and, by the way, nobody but me calls her Reba, but I’m hoping that through the information superhighway that we are currently traversing, I will ignite some sort of a new fad for her! Joy! In fact, Reba Joy!), we may not be totally unbiased. In fact, we aren’t.

So, I’m just gonna say that they were perfect, and you’re gonna have to deal with it. Take that, faithful bloggers (I’m testing your limits right now, kind of like that Job thing)! Much thanks to the lovely family, and the always lovely Kinzo & Ben for being superassistants during the shoot. Y’all rocked the house! Dang! Alright, enough of this, and let’s look at the pics – Enjoy!

The Family Hoskin!

Sometimes you gotta work (have I been starting a lot of these posts with words like ‘sometimes’, or ‘now, let me…’ or ‘you think you…’?? Hmmm…I need to break free from these trends, I need to come up with new, sweet, sleek attention getting devices. Maybe at the start of the post, I could put one on those animated gift’s that you used to see a lot of on the internet, like the gopher that looks like he’s walking…man, that guy used to crack me up! I know that if my post were to start off with something like that, I would think to myself, ‘Self, this post is going to be electifying! I mean, look at how whoever it is that did this has already mastered their use of the internet, I can hardly wait to see what the post ahead of me holds!’) to get the goods, and sometimes the goods are just handed to you.

In this case, the case of the Family Hoskin, (which, conincidentally, is also the name of a so-so Hardy Boys adventure), the goods were signed, sealed and delivered to us! Translation: They came down to the FunCenter, and they knew what it was that they were going to do, and we just made sure the camera had batteries, and that the cooler was stocked.

MuchLove to one and all in this lovely family for taking time out of their lives for us, and to the rest of you that are living contently in their blog homes tonight – Enjoy!

Sunday Holiday Portrait Love (SHPL)!

Alright, let me peel this turkey off of my face, and let me pull myself away from this last bowl of stuffing, because it’s time for the Thanksgiving hangover to begin, and the first part of the process is going to be to put up some pics that some people may have thought that the FunCenter had forgotten all about!

But, rest assured, we didn’t forget about them, it’s just that sometimes they got to stay in the oven a little longer, because you don’t want to take ’em out too soon and risk giving your loved ones Salmonella. Ewww.

So, I present to you now, another in the continuing series of Holiday Portrait Sessions here at the studio, Sunday Holiday Portrait Love (SHPL), and if you put all of the posts together, you will find another supersecret specialmessage from your ol’ buddy Otis!
