Chuck Full of Pictures**

The day began with rain, but as it went by the sun returned. Clouds can only hide the brightness for so long – even though the darkness can seem so long.

We were able to finally meet Jared & Lindsay – and even though they foiled our plot to steal her glasses, we had a super-fantastic time. Enjoy!

Good Morning Day-Trippers

Taken out the car window from the drive back to Minot from our day-trip to Bismarck yesterday. We had a fun shoot – special thanks to Jeanne and Andrea for all of their hard work!

(For the true effect, we should have used a disposable camera for this ‘out the window’ shot – my homeslices at Rainbow Photo will know what I’m talkin’ about)

Sundays With Andy

Not to be confused with a book of similar name, but Andy did come by the office today – Sunday. We discussed the finer points of music and life. We have them both figured out.

The Saturday Edition

Spent the afternoon with Chris & Sarah – we had a super-duper time! Favorite part: the groom asking if Jamie was with the photographers. This is funny because Jamie and I have joked about just showing up to a wedding, and taking photographs. Not that we would ever do it, but wouldn’t it be strangely funny to do this, and then try to get paid for it. Who knows – maybe this is the direction the industry will go. Otis & James – Commando Photographers. We may show up un-announced, but it’s for the best.

I digress. As it turns out, Jamie is part of the company, and she even managed to get a few shots of the groom without him knowing (sort of commando). Enjoy!

This Is Fat Al

He’s addicted to moisture in all forms. In a glass, in the sink, he’ll even drink the leftover shower water. He’s a good cat. Look for him on the About Us page.

Ironically, he’s in pretty good shape.

My First Post

Hello everyone this is Jamie, making my debut on the blog. Matt is the one who initially came up with the idea for the blog (I think it’s because he loves to hear himself talk). I thought the blog was a crazy idea, I thought it was dorky and I thought no one would ever read it, but I was wrong. Now I love the blog.

Jason and Sean stopped by the office today – but let me back up to last night when Jason was supposed to come at 8:00 with his viola, ready to take some pictures. He came at 8:45 and with no viola. It was alright because we got a few things done anyway. We rescheduled for today at 3:30, and I told him “Don’t be late!”

He was not late. He was right on time. I on the other hand was fast alseep in my bed, yes at 3:30 in the afternoon. (I had a late night) Thank goodness Matt was there, he got some great shots of Jason playing his viola. I have not seen Jason yet, but when I do, I will not hear the end of this.

I would also like everyone to know that Jason has a recital coming up and this is an event you won’t want to miss! He is an incredibly hardworking and talented musician and will be performing some truly amazing peices of music. Here is the information.

Keepin’ it real as only a North Dakotan (is that the term?) can. Check out this article from CNN.com. I swear, we can be cosmopolitan too!

We’re Back!

In continuing the fine tradition of putting an exclamation point at the end of the majority of the post titles, I come to you today with yet another. After a bit of a quiet stretch on the blog in which Otis was consumed by all things computer dork related, and during which James found herself on a tour that got her all the way to Calgary (eh), we are indeed back.

We had the pleasure of working with KaCee today (as well as meeting her incredibly friendly family). We had a great time – and what follows is a small sample of the work we did. Enjoy!
