The Family Turk!

This Holiday season, we again have the great pleasure of working with the family Turk, or rather the Children of Turk! They have all spent the past year working out what poses they were going to do this year (some may have done this more than others), and the final results were absolutely fantastic!

Everyone was good-looking, fabulous, and they all totally tore it up here at the O&J Super Center – and we thank them for bringing their A game out for their shoot. In conclusion, we thank them for their time and would now like to offer up some sweet snaps from the afternoon – Enjoy!

You Bet Your Sweet Brass!

The studio was filled with the sound of beautiful music, coming from beautiful instruments, that my beautiful feet were trying oh, so hard not to step on, as we don’t have enough beautiful money to replace them. Did I mention that not only was the music beautiful, but the people that were making the music were beautiful as well?? Did I just use the word beautiful about 25 times in a two sentence area?? Who cares – as it’s true…it’s true!

The family Hoffman stopped by, and we managed to get a couple of super-snaps while they were here (again, it was like three weeks ago, but it seems like yesterday)! We thank them for their time, and would like to now offer up some of the goods from the day – Enjoy!

Cold…And Lit Up!

What can we say about this dymanic duo, other than they totally rock! Who else could you wrap in lights and make stand in the middle of the street?? At least oncoming traffic had no problem seeing them – Enjoy!

More Old Friends!

Next up was our old friends – and Otis & James original – the family Landsiedel! They were able to come down to the new Otis & James super studio for the first time. When they first met up with us, we were way up on 31st Avenue, and it seemed a little shady. Well, it may still seem shady, but it’s bigger!

We had a great time working with this incredibly photogenic group (especially you, Jenna!) Enough of all this gum-flappin’, and let’s get on to some snaps – Enjoy!

Nathan On Ice

Next up was our old friend Nathan (you may remember him from this classic post), the occasion being the completion of his Senior Portraits! We made the trek to Rugby to get these super snaps, but the result was worth it!

We thank Nathan for letting us play on the rink (I mostly laid on the ice, and then it looked like I had an ‘accident’), and we will now move on to the photographic proof – Enjoy!

Bring Your Momma!

She liked it so much, she brought her Mom! Our friend Lindsey brought her Mother in, and she’s all the way from a land that’s far away. A land called California! In this land, they have fruit that grows on trees. The have roads with more than two lanes, they even have mythical restaurants called Jack In The Box!

We thank Mom for taking time from her sojourn to our northern nook of Dakota to visit us in the studio, and we now will show you what transpired during this photo shoot, which now seems like it was about a month ago (I think she’s actually back in California by now. So – Enjoy!

On The Road . The Bismarck Edition

The Otis & James Caravan of Love Tour ’05 pulled out of Minot for a rare escape this weekend, the reason being a visit to our new friends at Ralph Engelstad Arena, in the lovely city of Grand Forks, ND!

We had a great time, as we were joined by our assistant (you can call her simply…helper) Elise for the occasion (you can see her very ‘tired’ eye and a relatively annoyed kitty here), and we also had the great pleasure of working with some great staff at The Ralph (Lance, Sommer and all the rest), and let’s all give a very very big O&J shout out to our super-deluxe-new-friend Kelly, for being such a great host to our little band of photo-graphers! And as long as we are giving some mad props, let’s throw some down at Super-Britt, for keeping life at the studio going while the Caravan of Love has meandered through the state. It is not Otis & James that makes the business, it is those around us that make it all so sweet!!

Well, the hour is getting late – we’ve since moved on to Bismarck, where we will be meeting some of our Bismarck Buddies (this is you, Renae, et.al), and we must be turning in. But before we close the book on another day, let’s take a moment to look at some pretting colors and shapes from the weekend – Enjoy!

Reunion with the Family Browne!

This past evening, we were joined by friends old and new, as the Family Browne stopped by the O&J portrait deluxe station for some good ol’ familly snaps! You may recognize one of the members of this family from her previous posts here in blogland.

Well, tonight we incorporated a little more of the family, and had the good fortune of meeting her mutual dating partner (if I may be so bold to say so!) Everyone was a treat to work with, and we thank this lovely group of people for taking the time to visit us, and we wish you the best, and offer up some samples of the nights work – Enjoy!

An Evening with the Family Nelson!

Yesterday evenning we were paid a visit by new friends of Otis & James, the Family Nelson! They were absolutelly wonderful to work with – full of energy, smiles and good times! We had games, weird blue spindly koosh balls, and everyone looked especially good looking on this cold winters eve (I think I could write copy for Celestial Seasonings if this whole O&J thing doesn’t pan out.)

We thank this lovely family for speding their evening with us, and now would like to offer up a couple of snaps from our time together – Enjoy!
