I’ve been known to ‘shoot the hoops’, ‘toss around the ol’ ball’, ‘play some one-on-one’, ‘go in for the dunk’ from time to time, but I’ve never actually played basketball [cue rimshot]. Â I’m sorry. Â That one just wrote itself. Â It’s just that anybody that knows me knows that when it comes time for me to write something about sports, I’m going to have to lie. Â Don’t get me wrong – I wish I knew more about sports, I wish I played more sports (as does my Doctor,) but the chips never fell that way. Â The chips never fell? Â Whatever. Â See – even trying to talk about sports I’m getting all confused. Â So, I’m not going to be all hip and pretend that I know about things that I really don’t know anything about. Â I’m just going to give you the straight dope. Â And that’s that Keegan was wonderful to work with. Â He was a gent, straight up. Â No jive.
