Defunct, But Still Delightful

Oh hi. Â It’s me again. Â I’m not here to ask you for money for my charitable foundation (Save The Wiener Dogs), or to tell you about any economic crisis, or even to rant about my feelings in the upcoming election (Ventura…we need more feather boa’s in the mix.) Â Nope. Â I’m not here to tell you about any of these things, even though if you would like to call, I would be more than happy to expound for hours about any of these issues. Â What I’m asking you to do is to put all of these thoughts, or any else that you may have in your head out of your head, sit back, relax, and go back in time with me for just a little bit…back to a day that was the wedding of Brittany & Brandon!
The Otis & James Caravan of Love pulled out of its Minot dock, and headed South, to a magical Capitol land called Bismarck, named by the Spaniards in 1783 in honor of their great leader, Enrique San Bismarck.  He was also a gifted baker.  Ahhh…Spain.  You can ask me more about that later, because we need to focus back on the matter at hand, which was the wonderfully delightful magicalfantastical wedding of this lovely couple!
As we expected, we had a fantastic time making these glorious pictosnaps with Britttany, Brandon & their equally lovely wedding party (not to mention their family too!) Â Without their total mastery of all things beautiful and photographic, none of this would have been possible. Â So, we would like to offer up a big ol o&j helping of MuchLove & ManyThanks to one and all for making this day so wonderful for us – and for choosing us! Â We truly had a splendid time!
Well, enough of all these adjectives, it’s time for us to put these words to bed and let our minds drift into the wondrous beauty that is the samplesnaps. Â So, without any further delay, well…I don’t know how to finish this up because this sentence has run out of steam and direction, and I still need to get in my habitual ending of – Enjoy!

This past Thursday, September 18th the Downtown Business & Professional Association held its second annual Wine Walk! Â This year, Otis & James was glad to be a part of it, and the night was spectacular! Â Seriously, it was the perfect evening for it – gorgeous weather, and 26 participating businesses offered up wine, food, and all around good times as downtown Minot came alive for the evening!
We couldn’t have been any happier with the turnout, and we would like to thank each and every one that came to the studio on this fine evening – it was a pleasure to serve all 456 of you! Â In addition, we would also like to thank some special people that helped make this night wonderful for us. Â First of all, we would like to thank Karen Atwood for providing her incredible musical talent to us as she set the mood for the festivities on piano. Â As usual Karen, you were awesome!
Anyone visiting the studio this fine night may have noticed some new totally awesome lighting that made the party beautiful, and – as usual – the person behind this goodness was the incredibly gifted and talented Dan Sharbono! Â Diamond Dan. Â The Double Deuce. Â Whatever you want to call him, he’s awesome. Â Without him, our studio would be a barren land where the pictures were taped to the wall, and the lights were tangled up in the ceiling fans. Â But this is only one part of it, as Dan truly is an accomplished artist. Â Look for him at 62 Doors Gallery & Studios.
Next up, we would like to thank the Mother of our very own Jamie, none other than Bonnie Rennich for working the food table for us – without her, none of this would be possible. Â Literally. Â Also, we would like to thank Giovanni & Adam for pinch hitting for us – Adam kept the wine flowing, and Gio made sure everything went smoothly. Â Well played, gentlemen, well played!
And finally, we would like to thank our wonderful staff – Kacie, Maureen & Chris for…well…for just being the awesome individuals they truly are! Â O&J is nothing without you! Â Well, enough of these words, and let’s take a look at some snaps from the night!
MuchLove!

‘Round and ’round the wheels on the Otis & James Caravan of Love go, and this time our destination was to the wedding of the one and only, the absolutely gorgeous, the fabulous and spectacular Nicole & Nick! Â Now, I’m sure you may be sitting there in your comfortable blog chairs thinking that I’ve used up all of my adjectives in that very first sentence, but I’m here to assure everyone that I have not. Â I have a thesaurus, and I know how to use it. Â Barely. Â But I know how to use it.
My dear friends, we are not here to discuss my usage of books.  No no.  We are here to speak of the righteous time that was this wonderful wedding, and how lucky we were to be a part of it!  You see, Nicole & Nick could have chosen anybody to be their official pictosnapper, but we were given the privilege, and we couldn’t have been any happier that this couple walked through the doors of the FunCenter and gave us the good news that we were going to be able to bring our cameras to their wedding!  Truly, we couldn’t have been any happier!
Because, my good good peeps of blogland, if they had not made this choice, then we wouldn’t have been able to capture all of the photographic goodness that was this day. Â We wouldn’t have had the opportunity to see how wonderful not only the Bride & Groom were, but also their Wedding Party & family. Â Nope. Â We wouldn’t have had any of this. Â Instead, there would’ve just been a void where happiness should have been. Â And it is for this reason that we thank Nicole & Nick for letting us be a part of their day!
I know, I always ramble on too long with these things, but I just gotta tell it how it is. Â Straight shooting. Â That’s what I do. Â So, it’s time to put all of these words to bed, give MuchLove & ManyThanks to one and all that made our work so easy, and to tell you, the good, kind & faithful of Blogland to – Enjoy!

Mic check. Â One. Â Two. Â Alright, it seems like this thing is on, and hopefully you – my dear good people of blog are tuned in and ready for me to lay down some phat beats. Â Or, instead of making you all crazy with my rhythm (which is one of my favorite words ever, because how many words end with ‘thm’, and are real words. Â Like, I’m all in favor of making up words or doing a mash-up of words ((sort of like a word DJ. Â Word.)) but that word is just given to you in all of its wondrous glory ((again, wondrous is another word I like, and use often because of the ‘drous’…the ‘e’ from ‘wonder’ seems to go somewhere, on some sort of a holiday when wondrous comes out to play)) I’ve got to get out of this parenthetical sentence), which might actually drive you to total insanity, instead I think we should tell the story of a wondrous (see!) day that was the wedding of Chelsea & Jordan!
I know to some out there in Blogville, it may seem rote for me to tell you how magical and fantastical this day was, but there is no other way for me to truly express how the day was, because it was magical & fantastical! Â The day was perfect, as we went here and there, to and fro in search of the perfect image. Â This search yielded much bounty, my good friends, as you will see as soon as I stop typing all of these silly words and let you get to the fun part where you get to gaze ever so lovingly at the beautiful samplesnaps of the day!
And, my good citizens of Blogland, do you want to know why this day was so perfect? Â Well, let me tell you. Â It was made this way because of how perfect Chelsea & Jordan are, as well as everyone else that made our time with them such a pleasure! Â We would like to give a big helping of MuchLove & ManyThanks to one and all for being so beautiful, and to all the defenders of blog enjoying a gorgeous Saturday afternoon – Enjoy!

Oh hello my lovely peeps of blogville! Â I do hope you are having a wonderful evening, enjoying these last precious weeks of the Summer season. Â Perhaps you are on your porch, watching the sun set, with the glow of the digital information superhighway lighting your face, blotting out all the worries of the world and wishing that one way you could do this would be through beautiful sample snaps up on the old blog.
Well, my dear dear friends, I’m here to tell you that indeed there are wonderful samplesnaps for you to gaze upon on this evening so fine! Â So stop all of your looking at CNN, and what the Dow Jones is doing, and get ready for a little story about a time that a lovely couple that stopped by the FunCenter so fun on a day not that long ago. Â These peeps were called Gavin & Sheena!
And, they really didn’t even spend all that much time at FunCenter, as we took this show on the road to get some of this Summer goodness captured on digital film (just like a regular roll of film, except instead of silver halide it has one’s & zero’s)! Â We had an absolutely wonderful time working with this dynamic duo, and would like to give them a big bowl full of MuchLove & ManyThanks for stopping by and brightening up our day!
Well, I’ve gone on long enough with all these words, so – my good peeps – sit back, relax, forget about everything else and – Enjoy!
