Casey!

We had a long distance group of visitors stop by the studio this evening – Casey, Chelsey, & Jim came from far and wide to be with us (well, Casey came for us, Chelsey & Jim were there for Casey.) I managed to get most everyone wacked out on caffine, and in return we got some beautiful photographs with the lovely and friendly Casey!

Once again, due to the weather we weren’t able to complete the entire shoot, but we still managed to get quite a bit done – but be sure to keep your eyeballs peeled waiting for the conclusion. Again, thank you to the happy trio for being so good, and we couldn’t have asked for a better subject to photograph, and the proof follows – Enjoy!

Anthony the Patient

A big thanks to Anthony, as he patiently awaited arrival of his faithful photographers. He even managed to gain entry into the outer realm of the inner lair of Otis & James (he’ll know what that means), and he still couldn’t get us. We finally met up, and we let the photographic fun begin.

Anthony brought some weaponry into the studio, and the fun commenced! He amazed us with his agility, and with how easy and fun he was to work with. Due to the stinky weather, we’ll be concluding the shoot (photographic shoot, not weapons) in just a few days, so keep your eyes wide open to see the stunning conclusion. So for now – Enjoy!

Slidin’ With Jenna

Sometimes, if you’re a true professional photographer, you may find yourself getting a dirty look from a train conductor, and then falling, slipping and sliding down a hill on your gluteus maximus while your client and partner look on with an overwhelming sense of shock at what is happening.

You may also find yourself with the same client in the drive through at McDonald’s trying to conserve gas by shutting off your car – and not because of rising gas prices, but because you may run out and you don’t want to stall and then ask your client to help push the car through the drive through lane.

And yet sometimes, not only will all of this be true, but you may also find yourself working with a client that rocks so tough that taking their photographs is about as easy as it could ever be – and that’s just what happened tonight with the lovely Jenna!

We had a great time working with our old friend, and the photo-graphs are righteous. But enough of all of these things and what not, and on with the pics – Enjoy!

Wade, A Different Wade

Two Wade’s in two days is wild – totally wild. I’ll tell you what else is totally wild (that’s a really really bad segue), what’s wild is working with Wade tonight!

He came to the studio, and brought with him thundering drumming, total thundersticks. I think that that may be his nickname – thundersticks. If not, I apologize, but it really should be. He rattled the rafters, and showed that our studio has some sweet acoustics goin’ on. We had a great time working – lots of laughs and a totally great attitude made the shoot sweet!

So, enought of my jibber and or jabber, and on with the phot-oh-zzzzz – Enjoy!

Kristi…Completely!

All right there, for those of you waiting for more from our friend Kristi – here you go!

We rose this morning (albeit a little late) to complete the shoot of this lovely senior. We had a great time – good weather, we didn’t put Kritsti in too much danger (although we tried), and the late addition of a mutal dating partner, aka Kyle (at least I’m pretty sure it’s Kyle) made the day complete.

Here’s the exciting conclusion – Enjoy!

Shawna In The PM

Our day of working with super-fantastic clients continues, as Shawna and her roving gang of assistants graced the studio this evening with their prescence! She totally tore it up in what was a rollicking good time of photo-graphy.

We just stuck around in the studio this evening, but soon we will have the thrilling conclusion to our time together, so keep peeling your eyes in a methodical manner being careful not to scratch your retina in order to see for yourself. For now, we thank Shawna for all of her hard work, and look forward to working with her again soon. So, off with all of these words, and on with the snaps – Enjoy!

Wade In The AM

Wade ventured into the studio this morning, where he encountered a not quite so bright eyed and bushy tailed Otis & James. But we pushed all of the zzzzzzzz’s from the night aside and jumped right into some super-snaps.

Super-snaps turned out well, very well indeed! James did a great job, while Otis basically made coffee and got soda-pop, and moved ladders as directed to by James. A big thanks to Wade, as he rocked it up! In fact, see for yourself – Enjoy!

Natalie, Complete!

This past Monday morning, our old friend Natalie was able to bust out of school for a little bit to complete her super-fantastic senior shoot! We found our way to the places only ragged people know.*

As usual, Natalie was sweet to work with (and that’s sweet in non-syrupy way.) Thank you again to her for all of her hard work, and to the rest of you, take a look at the proof – Enjoy!

Kelsey!

Last night we again found ourselved right in the midst of Senior Portraits, and this time we were lucky to be with the lovely and talented Kelsey, with special guest Mom! These two came in and brought good times to the land of Otis & James.

And even though the weather was less than perfect, we managed to get a bunch of great stuff in the studio and downtown – James & Kelsey did the hard work, while our special guest (Mom) was led on a guided tour of The Blue Rider (the photograph of Kelsey against the blue wall is, of course, The Blue Rider (not to be confused with Der Blaue Reiter, but that’s a discussion for a different day.) Back to Kelsey, we wound up being rained out, so keep your eyes peeled for the conclusion to this action packed adventure. Here’s some of the story – Enjoy!

Heather From Friday On Monday

This past Friday, we were in great company as we had the good fortune of working with Heather and her lovely assistant (Mom.) Heather brought her A game to the table this evening, and it truly showed in our work together. She had a ton of great ideas, and was open to any we had – absolutely great to work with!

So, thank you again to Heather, and here’s some of the goods – Enjoy!
