BITTE v.7 :: The Family Knox!

What good are family pics without the doggie?  If you know anything about anything at the FunCenter, you know how much we love our doggie and include her in possibly way too much, so – in our opnion (and, in a completely unrelated note, I often type ‘in my onion’, which has a completely different feeling to it, as not too many people consult their onions in their daily lives), the doggie needs to be in the pics.

Take, for example, the everlovely Family Knox!  They know just how true this is, and they brought the doggie to the FunCenter, as FunCenter is a doggie friendly zone (DFZ, not to be confused with DMZ, as that would make the FunCenter not all that much fun) [ed.  Dude, you just typed ‘FunCenter’ about 138 times.  We get it, it’s the FunCenter, now move on.], and we always encourage this!

Enough about the pup, as we also had a completely wonderful time working (if you want to call it work, as there were no hard hats and time clocks) with this wonderful family, and would like to give them all a big ol’ glass of MuchLove & ManyThanks for being so awesome and stopping by FunC….I mean…our studio for the sweetlyfamilysnaps!  Alright, enough of this gibber-ah-jabbera, and let’s get to the goods!  Before we do, don’t forget to – Enjoy!

BITTE v.6 :: The Family Barnard!

Check.  Mic Check.  Is this thing on?  It is?  Alright then, gather ’round, for I’m about to tell you some facts about The Family Barnard.

  1. They are world renowned for their strudel making abilities, but don’t want to tell you about it because they are overly modest and wouldn’t want to make you feel inferior.
  2. Every year, they take in seven orphan baby seals and teach them the ways of the seal kingdom, and then release them back into the wild, because it is the only right thing to do.
  3. Once, just for fun, they all got into a 1991 Ford Festiva and drove to Sao Paulo Brazil, got there, ate – of all things – McDonald’s, and then drove home.  They did this in six days.
  4. They’re awesome!

And, as if that wasn’t enough, they also came here and graced us with their prescence on a day not all that long ago for some righteous pictosnaps!  MuchLove & ManyThanks to this wonderful family for giving us some of their sweet time, and to the rest of you Wheel of Fortune fans out there in Land of Blog – Enjoy!

BITTE v.5 :: The Larissa Edition!

Did you know that on a day that wasn’t all that long ago, but more likely was that long ago, the doors of the FunCenter (and for those of you not in the ‘know’, as it would be, the FunCenter is where the magicalfantastic picture taking process happens) opened up, and into our lives entered the one and only Larissa??!!

Well, I just told you, so now you know.  Do you want to know something else?  Not only did she come in and brighten up our day, she also totally and completely rocked during her shoot (and, for those of you not in the know, we weren’t shooting at her, ‘shoot’ is picto-grapher speak for ‘taking pictures’), and I think that the results of my bold words appear only a few short keystrokes away!

We would like to thank Larissa for being so wonderful, and we would like to thank you for being so wonderful too!  Oh, and by the way – Enjoy!

BITTE v.4 :: The David Edition!

The name ‘David’ comes from the Latin ‘David’, which – roughly translated – means ‘he who prefers the finer things in life, such as a good car, a fancy hotel, large boats, fresh fruit, and exotic birds.’

This is a rough translation, however, and my Latin may not be what it once was.

GoodTimes were had by all, and we’d now like to take this moment to offer MuchLove & ManyThanks to David for giving us just a little bit of his time in between searching for the next exotic bird and bundle of fruit [ed.  I’m not sure that fruit comes in bundles, but I’ll let it slide this time.], and to all of my good peeps out there in Bloville – Enjoy!

BITTE v.3 :: The Evonne & Al Edition!

Evonne & Al are being studied by NASA and the Food And Drug Administration to see why it is that they are so awesome.  Although it seems strange that these two agencies would be studying them, who am I to question such things (I just hope they don’t get sent to outer-space or something like that.)  Not only have we heard about this awesomeosity, we’ve also had the pleasure of witnessing it firsthand during our pictogaphic snapshoot for some sweet e.pics!  It was a wonderful time, filled to the brim with all things good!

And they also have a pet tiger.  MuchLove & ManyThanks to this lovely couple for stopping by FunCenter, and now, Ladies and gents of Blog, I present to you Evnonee & Al – Enjoy!

BITTE v.2 :: Once Again…The Marquis Edition!

Really now folks, what can we say about this lovely young man that we haven’t already said before!  We’ve had the superawesome pleasure of working with him multiple times over the past few years, and – like a fine wine – he only gets better with time!  Also, that’s the first time that I’ve ever compared a child to a bottle of wine!  Alright, moving on.

MuchLove and ManyThanks to Marquis and his totallysweet entourage that assisted with the shoot, and to all of me good citizens of Blogville sunning themselves on the roofs of their houses – Enjoy!

Blogging Insanity :: The Thursday Edition (BITTE)

Greetings my good Peeps of Blog (POB’s…but really, if I still have to tell you what it is that you are, I don’t know how this thing is going to work out), I come to you on this Thursday so fine with the good news that you are about to have your mind expanded, contracted, expanded again, and eventually filled to the brim and the exploded with wonderful pictographic goodness!

Behold!  I’m about to lay on you a ton (well, since we’re on the interweb, I’m not sure how much that truly is, as I thought we were still going to be converting to metric soon and I’ve been devoting all of my attention to that since about 1977) of sweetlysweet posts.  I invite you now to sit back, relax, if you are at work, just forget about getting any work done the end of the day, and enjoy what is about to unfold.

OK.  That’s all.  Let’s rock this mutha.

MuchLove!

The Barley Pop (Time Marches On!)

Hello my good People of Blog (POB’s), I’m writing to you in this hour so fine with a short and sweet missive of a local establishment know as The Barley Pop.  Now, I’m sure that some of you may be wondering why it is I’m coming to you with this story, but one of your faithful members of the Otis & James Team, none other than the ever lovely and wondrous Emily, is the daughter of the owners of this establishment, none other than the equally as wonderful Cheri & Reuby Reile!

We’ve had the pleasure of getting to know the whole family over the last few years, and couldn’t be any happier to call them friends to our o&j family!  Well, as those of you that live in Minot know, the last part of the North Broadway construction has started, and the Reile family bar, none other than The Barley Pop [ed.  What’s the deal with you and ‘none other’ tonight?  Just wondering.] was one of the buildings scheduled for demolition.

Scheduled, I should say that it already has been torn down.  Don’t panic though!  For the bar is moving just a half of a block to the South from its former location, in a completely renovated totally sweet azzkickin’ new bar!  We’ve had a sneak peak at it already, and we can let you know that it is gonna be awesome!  It’s going to incorporate tons of memorabilia and keepsakes from the old bar, and also be totally new at the same time.  Best of both worlds sort of thing.  We know that we’re excited, as I’m sure all the Barley Pop peeps are too.  Look for the new bar to open very quickly (we’re talking real quick!)

Before the old bar became a memory, one fine Sunday morning, the Otis & James Traveling Caravan of Love had the good pleasure of pulling into Barley Pop station for a couple of pics to remember the place by.  Well, to my good People of Blog that are over the age of 21, we encourage you to visit the new Barley Pop as soon as it opens, and may The Barley Pop have 30 more years of wonderful memories!  Oh, and by the way – Enjoy!
