Mostafa & Christina

After many months of waiting, we at Otis & James had the great pleasure of attending the wedding of Mostafa & Christina. It was a great day – James was able to spend a ton of time with the ladies as they prepared for the day, while Otis got to spend the first part with Lions, and then got to join up with the fun!

The wedding party and family was great to work with – we thank them for making the day great, and we wish the new couple total happiness! Here’s some of the fun – Enjoy!

Wednesday Sara

I know that the title, ‘Wednesday Sara’ seems strange, but Tomorrow when there is a Thursday Sara, it will make sense.

As I’m sure you have already guessed, we had the pleasure of working with the great spirited Sara, and her lovely assistant (aka Mom.) We just worked in the studio, and will be adding more later. For now, we offer some samples of our time together, and we ask you to keep peeling your eyeballs for more images later on down the road. So a big thanks to them, and to you reading this – Enjoy!

Early in the Morning*, with Nate & Tara

This past Sunday morning, we got off to an early start (far earlier than normal), with the so fresh & so clean Nate & Tara. They were all bright eyes/bushy tails (whatever that means), rip-roaring/ready-to-go! They were awesome, and we thank them for finding the time for their engagement photographs. As soon as we got done, Nate was off to the land of sunshine and oranges. We look forward to their wedding – they are great! On with the pics – Enjoy!**

*Special thanks to J.Kole & B.Guy
**For those of you counting, this was the last exclamation point in a post that was filled with them. I find that it really conveys super-excitement. e.g. – Sweet. Sweet!! In the first sweet, there is a hint of Generation X sarcasm. In the second sweet, there is a true feeling of excitement, or jubilation.
Let the exclamation points fly!!!!!

A Day Late…

It was going to either be this title, or ‘Better Late Than…’ You see, we should have had this post up quite a while ago. We…well…there’s no explaining our way out of this. Let’s just get you to the pics, and give a big thank you to Mandy, and her aspiring supermodel daughter (when she turned it on, she turned it on!!). Thank You, and Enjoy!

Josalyn

If you go back a couple of days, back to the post on Friday, I made mention to the fact that Friday weddings really throw my internal clock off. To illustrate this fact, if you refer back to the post from yesterday (Sunday), you will see that I refered to our client by the wrong name. Well, the name that I used was Josalyn, because I thought that if it was Monday, it must be Josalyn. But it was Sunday, and it wasn’t. But then today was Monday, and it was, and we were glad, and we all lived happily ever after.

The End.

Uhhhhhh…..I’m not too sure what that was all about, but what I do know is that today we spent our evening with the Joyful Josalyn (remember, I strive to alliterate no matter how bad it is!) We had a great evening, and got some really wonderful photographs – all made possible by…Josalyn! Enough with all of this randam jabering, on to the photographs – Enjoy!

Sundays with Racia – Pt. I

It is just a given now that if we have an appointment on Sunday, the post title will start off ‘Sundays with…’ Sure, some may say that it is taking the easy way out, that it’s not creative; etc. To them I say, you are indeed correct – but that does not mean that I will change my ways. I guess that this discussion could probably be saved for another time, as this post is about the great time we had working with Racia this evening.

I, Otis, got off to a great start by bursting into the studio during makeup and addressing Racia by another name. You know, this is not the best way to start off a session. I apologized, she was gracious enough to accept the apology, and we took some great pics. We will be adding some more later (hence the Pt. I), so keep peeling your eyes (very painful) for more images at a later time. So, I think that’s it – Enjoy!

Shaun & Meg

Otis & James had the pleasure of to company of Shaun & Meg, et. al. today. It was a Friday wedding. Friday weddings always wreak havoc on my internal clock, as I am so programmed into thinking that if there is a wedding, it must be Saturday. Then I will go on thinking that Saturday is Sunday, and on Sundy wonder why nobody is at work – where have all the people gone? – that kind of stuff.

Friday weddings are great, though, because you are not compteting with everybody else that is getting married. Shaun & Meg were the main event, and that was it. Well, enough of this digression, and let me tell you that we had a wonderful time working with the couple and their family over the last few months (a big shout-out to our friend Penny – aka the ‘Dancing Machine’), and we thank them for making the day so enjoyable. Alright, alright, enough blabbing and on with the pics – Enjoy!

Tiffany

There’s no need for alliteration on this post title, but if there was it could have been ‘Totally Tiffany’, or…well…I really can’t think of anything else; but I digress.

We were here today to photograph the enchanting Tiffany, and were joined by some special guests (Mom & Sis.) We all had a great time (well, I know I had a great time, and I’m really hoping that everyone else did too.)

Tiffany was a real treat to work with. She was the tops, the bananas, the cat’s pajamas. She rocked, plain and simple. Enough of this crazy-talk, and let’s look at the proof – Enjoy!

Lovely Lise

Ahh yes, my old friend alliteration. You never cease to amaze me with your abilities. Truly, though, we worked today with the amazingly lovely Lise (pronounced like Lisa, but I’m sure our devoted crowd of good Scandinavians already knew this.) She was a true joy to work with, and with us created some absolutely beautiful photographs. Let’s stop talking about it, and let us instead look at the goods – Enjoy!
