It’s Cody, Serena and Riley (& Mom Too!)

I’ve got these fingers, and they’re on this keyboard, and they’re about to tell you a wonderful thing!  They’re about to tell you- in fact, I think they are telling you – about a happy time at the FunCenter for Fun when the doors opened on up, and in strolled a lovely family in need of some lovely pictures!

You see – I told you this was a wonderful thing!  Here’s how it went down.  As I said, they strolled on in to the FunCenter, and then we were all like, ‘how lovely!  Do you need pictures?’, and then they were all like, ‘Oh yes, we do!’, and so on and so forth until the point that we find ourselves at right now -with the fingers on the keyboard just waiting to tell you about this magical fantastical time!  Now, we need to take a moment to give MuchLove to this wonderful group for stopping down, and we need to remind all of you out there in the Land of Blog to – Enjoy!

The Family Adams!

Sometimes you gotta throw the kid in the air.  And catch him, as well.  And this needs to only be done by adults and in a good natured way that only elicits fun from the child.  Actually, I just consulted with our lawyer and he is advising us that we should in no way, shape or form endorse throwing children in the air whatsoever, and that all of us should just forget that these words were ever spoken, or typed for that matter.

How ’bout this:  Sometimes, you gotta do what it takes to make your child happy!  As long as it doesn’t involved anything illegal.  OK.  There’s no way that I’m going to win with this one, so how about we just say thank you to The Family Adams for stopping by the FunCenter not all that long ago to get some sweet family pictosnaps, and to let all of you out there in your digital blog homes to – Enjoy!

It’s Kristen, Adam, Some Pupperhounds (& Baby Too!)

That’s a mouthful right there.  The title of this post, that is.  Even though you might think that with a title like that this shoot would be pure madness.  Veritable pandemonium.  Chaos of the highest order.  But, my dear Friend of Blog, you would be wrong!

You see, this shoot was the complete opposite!  Everyone was a charm, a gem, a real treat to work with.  Even the doggies.  In fact, they were just about the best doggies we’ve ever had step foot into this studio – except for my wiener dogs, but I’m biased.  But I could sit here all day and night long rambling on about how awesome the shoot was, but that would take away from the fun part – the part when we get to take a look at the goods!

Before we do, however, we need to give MuchLove to this soon to be expanding family for giving us a little bit of their sweet & precious time, and to all of you out there in Land of Blog – Enjoy!

Wowzies! It’s Amber & Brandon!

You see what I did right there?  I put two exclamation points in the title of this post.  I’ve taken this thing to the breaking point of punctuation, and for good reason, I might add.  And that reason, you might ask?  Well, I might say, that reason is that we had the goodlygreat pleasure of working with the supercouple that is known as Amber & Brandon!

They strolled on into our studio on a day that wasn’t not all that long ago (what is time, really?) for the purpose of getting some wonderful engagement pictures taken!  Lucky for them, we had just got our camera out of the pawn shop, so we were able to take their pictures!  I kid – we got it out of pawn at least a day before (DUBZ LOLZ!)

We had a most wonderful time working with them, and can not wait until the big day – and I’m not talking about my birthday either (even though that day is pretty awesome.)  So, sit back & relax as we give MuchLove to this wondrous couple, and get ready to – Enjoy!

Hold On To Your Fargo, It’s Megan & Derrick!

Continuing in our time machine trip to the time called February, this time we are venturing to the land called ‘Fargo’ – which is a place to the east where they made that movie, or something like that.  Either way, our intrepid photographer Queen James was in this magical land and had the goodlygreat opportunity of working with this superduper couple!

Now, did you just hear that?  They are superduper!  And do you know what that means?  Well, I’m here to tell you!  It means that all we had to do was show up and turn the camera on – they made the rest of it all good!  And it’s not like we’ve got a crazy camera that you just have to turn on to make good pics, these were actually shot with a recycled disposable camera loaded with ISO 800 film.  Just a small light leakage and it shocked me when I was getting the film out, but other than that it’s OK.

But enough of all this technomublejumble, let us get to the part where we give MuchLove to this wonderful couple for giving us a little bit of their sweet time, and be sure to – Enjoy!

Watch Out World, It’s Melissa & Jonathan!

Way back in the land of Valentines Day (that would be February, for those of you keeping track at home), we had the goodly great pleasure of working with the one & only (well, there are actually two people in these pictures, but they’ll be married soon, and then there’s that whole ‘where there was two, there will be one’ thing going on, so I guess that kind of works) Melissa & Jonathan!

They stopped on down to the FunCenter not just to have fun, but to also have some sweetlysweet engagement pictures taken!  And as if the complete & total over-usage of the exclamation point wasn’t an indicator enough, we had a great time working with them and can not wait until their wedding day!  So, without any further delay, it’s Melissa & Jonathan – Enjoy!

Only The Shadows Know…

Oh yeah, well hello there!  It’s me.  I know, I know, it’s been forever and a day.  But let’s not dwell on the past, let us instead look to the future – to a place filled to the brim with shadows.  In particular, job shadows.  What does a job shadow do?  How does it work?  Well, let me explain:  When The Shadow shows up at our studio, we pretend to be a highly organized group that is the model of efficiency.  We tidy up the office, remove anything from our desks that might be considered offensive, and we show them what it is that we do.

Which is take pictures.  In fact, we just give them the camera and let them go.  It’s cheap labor – you got a problem with it?  Didn’t think so.  Well then, without any further delay, let us take a look at our lovely shadows – Enjoy!

The Senior Open House Inside Scoop

As you may have already heard, on Sunday March 13th we will be having our sixth annual Senior Open House at our studio – but you may be asking yourself ‘why is this important?’ – and I’m here to give you some reasons why, as well as to explain a little bit about how it will work.

1)Why should you go?

The biggest reason why is that based upon how every other year has gone, we will book the majority of our prime session dates at this event.  This is the first day our summer calendar will be open for booking Senior Portraits, and we book on a first com/first serve basis.

As if that wasn’t enough, if you book your session in our studio you will be eligible for our prize drawing, details of which can be found at this link.

2)How does it work?

It’s simple.  Just get your self into our studio and book your session.  It’s just a laid back affair – we’ll be there to answer your questions, and you are welcome to take a look around at our studio to see what exactly o&j is all about!

Once you are ready to book, one of us will be able to help you find a time and get you in the calendar.  Simple as that!

3)What if I can’t make it to the Open House?

Let’s say you are still stuck somewhere far away from us and many icy roads separate us from you – well, you can call our studio at 701.838.6181 and if we have the ability to, we will answer your call.  Here’s the deal, though; our first priority will be to those actually in our studio.  If we are unable to answer your call, please leave a voicemail and as soon as we can we will return calls in the order they were received.

If you are unable to attend or call, from the Open House on our calendars will be open for booking – but sessions are limited and they will go quickly!

4)What are the sessions you are offering?

Good question!  CLICK THIS GIANT LINK FOR ALL THE INFORMATION ABOUT OUR 2012 SESSIONS!

5)What’s this thing gonna cost?

Ahh yes, the most important part, how much scratch are you going to have to dig out of your wallet for this.  Well, here’s the story.  In order to book your session – whichever session you choose – there will be a $100.00 non-refundable deposit that must be paid.  We will not be able to put you in our calendar until that deposit is placed, no exceptions.  The remainder of the balance will not be due until the time of the actual session.

Alright my good people, you have the inside scoop.  We hope to see all of you at the Open House tomorrow!  We would love to meet you, and more important – we would be honored to be a part of your Senior Year!

MuchLove!
