LJ

Little Jessie (LJ to his friends) swung on down by the studio this afternoon (with a little assistance on stroller from long-time blog reader/poster Reba), and gave us a good show! I don’t know what it is about Otis & James and the children, but they were all rockin’ this fine day.

Special thanks to Mom for all of her assistance and for crossing the windy bridge for us, but enough of all this crazy talk, and let’s see the pics – Enjoy!

My Main Man Blake!

This handsome young gentleman strolled into our studio this morning on the occasion of getting some sweet one-year snaps! He is a natural at this – a total pro. All we did was turn the cameras on, and he pretty much was the artistic director for the shoot.

He even brought along a talented and lovely assistant (Mom), that helped make this shoot super-sweet. Not only did he bring out all of his best studio moves, but he also gave us a show on the jungle gym, and showed off his sweet moves on the slide!

Congrats to Blake on the big 1 – and here’s some pics from the morn – Enjoy!

After Hours…With a Trio

We finished the day of many shoots with a special ‘members only’ performance by this trio, which now I will just call ‘The Un-named.’ I’m not really sure that it was members only, or if anyone besides myself was wearing any Members Only clothing (love their fall coats), but all of this is beside the point.

What matters is that I heard a version of Puff The Magic Dragon that borderlined on free-form jazz experimentation. I didn’t know whether to weep in its subtle beauty from chaos, or to noodle dance in a Grateful Dead sort of way, but this too is beside the point.

The point is, here’s some pics – Enjoy!

Breaking Down the Fourth Dimension

At Otis & James, it is our goal to slowly find our way into our clients photographs.
One client at a time, until our goal is achieved.
That’s the Otis & James difference.

Labor Day Blogathon

Things have been oh-so crazy in the Otis & James world of late. You see, we’ve managed to move into a new location over the past few days. We will be fully updating the site to reflect these changes, but for now take comfort in the fact that we are back up and running at 100%!

We begin now the process of blogging all that we have been up to of late – for those that have been waiting for your blog entry, wait no longer! There is a ton of stuff waiting to go up, so keep peeling your eyeballs and you will soon see all sorts of new stuff – and in addition keep your eyes double-peeled to see pics of the new studio! Enough of this nonsense, let’s got on with this Labor Day Blog-athon.

Peace out, G’s.

A Day Late…

It was going to either be this title, or ‘Better Late Than…’ You see, we should have had this post up quite a while ago. We…well…there’s no explaining our way out of this. Let’s just get you to the pics, and give a big thank you to Mandy, and her aspiring supermodel daughter (when she turned it on, she turned it on!!). Thank You, and Enjoy!

The Soulful Swingin’ Sounds of Matt Bieri; Renegade son of Bud Bieri

I am ready at a moments notice to sing at any wedding.
I have prepared a repetoire of hits, such as “I Will Always Love You” as well as any number of songs by Journey.

Kangaroos and Buffalo

Jamie had the pleasure of working with Thomas & Gracia this past evening! Thomas came from far far away, and Gracia comes from much closer (I’ll just leave you to your own devices in figuring out where the far away land is). From what Jamie had said, they were awesome (and from what I’ve seen, I’m in complete agreeance.

We look forward to working with them again this coming Saturday, and stop by soon thereafter for some pics of the big day!

Enjoy!

Virginia

Great state, great person. She paid us a visit to the studio the other night, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! She was great to work with – we couldn’t have asked for a better personality to work with. Thanks for stopping on by, Virginia (the person – states can’t just ‘stop by’) and we hope you will do it again!

Enjoy!

The Divine Ya Ya’s of Something Or Another

There are all sorts of pseudo-witty titles that could have been assigned to this post, but I’ll save you all from them. Titles such as, “Double your fun with Anne & Elise”, or “Seeing Double in the Park”, or maybe even “Psycopharmicology: Truth or Urban Legend.” Any of these could have worked. Instead it’s something about divine ya ya’s, which in retrospect could be taken in the wrong way, but I’m really just goofin’ on a book.

Either way, we had the opportunity of spending a little time today working with these splendid young ladies (one of which is long-time blog-reader/sometimes poster – but you’ll have to guess which one)! Here’s some of the stuff – Enjoy!!
