Allison & Kurt!

Oh hi.  It’s me again here, and I just wanted to tell all y’all out there how much I love you.  Yep.  That’s it.  Well…I also want to tell you how special you are.  Yeah.  Both of those things.  And as long as we’re at it, I’d like to tell you that I’m a Cancer, and my favorite author is John Steinbeck.  Yeah.  That should pretty much be it for things that I would like to tell you.  Oh.  Wait.  One more thing.  As long as we’re here and your eyes are looking at these words, I guess I could also tell you that on a day so fine not all that long ago we at the Otis & James FunCenter of Fun and Centers had the goodlygreat pleasure of working with a wonderful couple that a lot of people out there like to call Allison & Kurt!

They came to the Center so Fun not just to have a lot of centered fun…oh no…my friends, they came here to have some totally awesome and wonderful pictosnaps taken for the purpose of their engagement!  You see, they will be getting married a little bit further down the road, and we’re also going to be there for that day, but until then you will have these wonderful samplesnaps to let you know just how awesome both the wedding day will be, and just how awesome this couple is!

Well I’m just drifting aimlessly in words now, so I think it’s time for us to give MuchLove & ManyThanks to this lovely couple for stopping down and giving us the photographic goods, and to all my good people out there in Land of Blog enjoying a late fall day so lovely – Enjoy!

Jessica & Matthew

Come with me now on a boat on a river, with tanger…wait.  I’m sorry, my mind was drifting around a little bit there.  Let me try to start this thing up again.  Come with me now, on a trip to Fantasy Islan…nope.  That’s not it either.  OK.  Give me one more chance to make this thing good.  I promise, the rust is falling off of my fingertips and I’m about ready to give you an explosion of details.  Well, not so much accurate details of what this post is about, but a summarized version that exists in my head which may or may not have any actual basis in much reality.  Now that the disclaimer is out of the way, let’s try to give this one more go.  Come with me now, as we travel back in time – just a little bit now – to a magical and fantastical day that we at the Otis & James FunCenter for Wayward Photographers & Line Cooks (O&JFCFWP&LC) are calling the wedding of Jessica & Matthew!

Alright.  Have you all traveled back in time with me yet?  Because if not, I can stop by in the WayBack Machine and pick you up, but I’m gonna tell you, it’s in need of a detailing…bad (it still smells like McDonald’s & patchouli ((left over from a trip I took to a Phish concert in Fall of ’94…whoa))).  OK.  So now that we’re all back at this wondrous day, let us take a moment to tell you what it was all about.

Well, I guess that if I really have to tell you what a wedding is all about, I’m not sure that this post is going to be of much help to you, and you should probably seek more schooling.  Because this day was not about us and the totally awesome pictosnaps that were taken of this gorgeous couple and their equally awesome wedding party (even as much as Queen James wants the day to be about her…it’s not).  Oh no, my friends, this day was about this lovely couple and the joy they so graciously shared with us!

You see, good citizens of Blogville, we were lucky enough to be included in this righteous day, and we would like to offer up huge helpings of MuchLove & ManyThanks to not only the couple, but to every other person involved that made our time together so totally and completely sweet!  Remember, we’re just the peeps with the camera – you guys are the ones that make the awesome.  Straight up.

Alright, this jibberjabber session has come to an end, and it’s now time to sit back, relax, and enjoy the sweetly samplesnaps that await you below.  Oh, and to all my good peeeps of blog out there reading this – Enjoy!

Alicia & Joshua

Hop aboard one and all, for the Otis & James Caravan of Love is about ready to take off, and this time we’re going to a special place of magical tall turtles called Bottineau!  I guess that we’ll actually have to hop into the WayBack Machine, because we’re going to have to travel back in time just a little bit.  So, if you push the empty Nite Train boxes out of the way, I think there is enough room for everyone to get on…alright…is everybody in?  Sweet.  Because here we go.

I suppose you’re asking yourself, ‘Self, why am I subjecting myself to a voyage in this 1977 Monte Carlo that’s been converted into some sort of a ‘WayBack Machine’…and is that bacon that I smell?’, and I’m here to give you answers.  First of all, yes – that is bacon.  Secondly, the reason for our voyage back in time to the magical land of giant turtles is because we are going to look at the sweetlysnaps of the wedded bliss of Alicia & Joshua!

You see, we had the good pleasure of being a part of this wonderful day, and we would like to give MuchLove & ManyThanks to Alicia & Joshua, the Wedding Party, and everybody else that made our work so easy!  Again, I apologize for the condition of the WayBack Machine, but after you see the samplesnaps, you’ll know that it was worth it.  Enough of these words, good people of blog – Enjoy!

Brianne & Tyler!

I could sit here, in my nook, next to my puppy dog, in front of my computer, in my kitchen, at the counter, with the sound of Freddie King softly wailing out some blues, with the occasional sound of a car passing by, and the voices of those on the street below wafting up to my ears, with my mind filled with thoughts of when is a good time for lunch, while I keep glancing at the clock thinking that my circadian rhythms are all wrong, and my 2:06 in the afternoon is really like 9AM for most people, and wondering if this is alright, but then realizing that often times the hours between midnight and three AM are some of my most productive, but yet knowing that there is a voice inside my head saying that I should acclimate myself to society better, that I can’t be a vampire forever, I mean – I’m practically thirty…or something like that, and it’s time to grow up, but why – I mean, is there really some sort of a pressing impetus that requires I do this, or would it just be me succumbing to what society deems to be normal behavior, and I could sit here, and I could type all sort of gibberish about things that will long be forgotten once they travel out into the space that is the inteweb, and I could sit here, with these things filling my head, and I could sit here and I could produce some sort of gibberishly long way of saying that we took pictures of the absolutely beautiful Brianne & Tyler, and they were incredible.

I could do that.

I’m not going to.  I’m just going to say that they came into our studio, and they tore it up.  They knew what the story was, and they owned it.  Straight up, my babies.  So I’ll save you all the words, and I’ll just give a huge MuchLove & ManyThanks to this wonderful couple for gracing us with some of their sweet & precious time!  Oh, and to all my good peeps out there in Land of Blog sitting in your chairs – Enjoy!

Bethany & Josh!

I used to come up with witty titles for these blog posts, but after a few years of that your mind goes numb and you just kind of stick with names.  For example, I could have called this one ‘Fun In The Park With Bethany & Josh!’, or ‘The SweetlySnap E.Pics of Bethany & Josh!’, but it just becomes white noise after a while, and I’m not diluted enough to think you are here for the titles or even for these words.

You’re here, in case you have forgotten, to see the totally awesome samplesnaps of this wonderful couple!  Now, going back to the title thing, a part of me wants to think that I should shorten it up to just ‘Beth’ (which is a totally awesome song by Kiss, by the way), but I’m going with the full version.  Again, I think I could just put ‘Insert Couples Name Here’ as the blog title, and it wouldn’t affect your feelings toward the samplesnaps, because of that whole white noise thing again.

So, I’m going to stop all of this jibberjabber right now, because this totally awesome couple that we will be working with again on their wedding day need no additional words – their total awesomeosity is enough!  Before we leave, we want to give MuchLove & ManyThanks to this wonderful couple for giving us a little bit of their sweet and precious time, and to all my good people of blogworld out there in a fall day so lovely – Enjoy!

Brittany & Brandon

Oh hi.  It’s me again.  I’m not here to ask you for money for my charitable foundation (Save The Wiener Dogs), or to tell you about any economic crisis, or even to rant about my feelings in the upcoming election (Ventura…we need more feather boa’s in the mix.)  Nope.  I’m not here to tell you about any of these things, even though if you would like to call, I would be more than happy to expound for hours about any of these issues.  What I’m asking you to do is to put all of these thoughts, or any else that you may have in your head out of your head, sit back, relax, and go back in time with me for just a little bit…back to a day that was the wedding of Brittany & Brandon!

The Otis & James Caravan of Love pulled out of its Minot dock, and headed South, to a magical Capitol land called Bismarck, named by the Spaniards in 1783 in honor of their great leader, Enrique San Bismarck.  He was also a gifted baker.  Ahhh…Spain.  You can ask me more about that later, because we need to focus back on the matter at hand, which was the wonderfully delightful magicalfantastical wedding of this lovely couple!

As we expected, we had a fantastic time making these glorious pictosnaps with Britttany, Brandon & their equally lovely wedding party (not to mention their family too!)  Without their total mastery of all things beautiful and photographic, none of this would have been possible.  So, we would like to offer up a big ol o&j helping of MuchLove & ManyThanks to one and all for making this day so wonderful for us – and for choosing us!  We truly had a splendid time!

Well, enough of all these adjectives, it’s time for us to put these words to bed and let our minds drift into the wondrous beauty that is the samplesnaps.  So, without any further delay, well…I don’t know how to finish this up because this sentence has run out of steam and direction, and I still need to get in my habitual ending of – Enjoy!

Nicole & Nick

‘Round and ’round the wheels on the Otis & James Caravan of Love go, and this time our destination was to the wedding of the one and only, the absolutely gorgeous, the fabulous and spectacular Nicole & Nick!  Now, I’m sure you may be sitting there in your comfortable blog chairs thinking that I’ve used up all of my adjectives in that very first sentence, but I’m here to assure everyone that I have not.  I have a thesaurus, and I know how to use it.  Barely.  But I know how to use it.

My dear friends, we are not here to discuss my usage of books.  No no.  We are here to speak of the righteous time that was this wonderful wedding, and how lucky we were to be a part of it!  You see, Nicole & Nick could have chosen anybody to be their official pictosnapper, but we were given the privilege, and we couldn’t have been any happier that this couple walked through the doors of the FunCenter and gave us the good news that we were going to be able to bring our cameras to their wedding!  Truly, we couldn’t have been any happier!

Because, my good good peeps of blogland, if they had not made this choice, then we wouldn’t have been able to capture all of the photographic goodness that was this day.  We wouldn’t have had the opportunity to see how wonderful not only the Bride & Groom were, but also their Wedding Party & family.  Nope.  We wouldn’t have had any of this.  Instead, there would’ve just been a void where happiness should have been.  And it is for this reason that we thank Nicole & Nick for letting us be a part of their day!

I know, I always ramble on too long with these things, but I just gotta tell it how it is.  Straight shooting.  That’s what I do.  So, it’s time to put all of these words to bed, give MuchLove & ManyThanks to one and all that made our work so easy, and to tell you, the good, kind & faithful of Blogland to – Enjoy!

Chelsea & Jordan

Mic check.  One.  Two.  Alright, it seems like this thing is on, and hopefully you – my dear good people of blog are tuned in and ready for me to lay down some phat beats.  Or, instead of making you all crazy with my rhythm (which is one of my favorite words ever, because how many words end with ‘thm’, and are real words.  Like, I’m all in favor of making up words or doing a mash-up of words ((sort of like a word DJ.  Word.)) but that word is just given to you in all of its wondrous glory ((again, wondrous is another word I like, and use often because of the ‘drous’…the ‘e’ from ‘wonder’ seems to go somewhere, on some sort of a holiday when wondrous comes out to play)) I’ve got to get out of this parenthetical sentence), which might actually drive you to total insanity, instead I think we should tell the story of a wondrous (see!) day that was the wedding of Chelsea & Jordan!

I know to some out there in Blogville, it may seem rote for me to tell you how magical and fantastical this day was, but there is no other way for me to truly express how the day was, because it was magical & fantastical!  The day was perfect, as we went here and there, to and fro in search of the perfect image.  This search yielded much bounty, my good friends, as you will see as soon as I stop typing all of these silly words and let you get to the fun part where you get to gaze ever so lovingly at the beautiful samplesnaps of the day!

And, my good citizens of Blogland, do you want to know why this day was so perfect?  Well, let me tell you.  It was made this way because of how perfect Chelsea & Jordan are, as well as everyone else that made our time with them such a pleasure!  We would like to give a big helping of MuchLove & ManyThanks to one and all for being so beautiful, and to all the defenders of blog enjoying a gorgeous Saturday afternoon – Enjoy!

Ashley & Reed

Hello.  I’m here again.  This time, I’m going to weave a yarn about a beautiful couple that we like to call Ashley & Reed (and is it just me, or does it seem like their names are meant to be together – like characters on a TV show or something…you know what I mean?  Like, they should anchor a newscast together, ‘I’m Ashley…and I’m Reed…and this is Eyewitness News’ – that sort of a thing…maybe it’s just me…ok…back to the matter at hand)!

Now, this yarn that I’m about to weave (and I have no idea what that expression really means, like, what the origin of it is…something to do with making textiles, I’m assuming…but I’m no expert on the textile industry) is not just some made up story.  Oh no.  It is the story of a wonderful day when Ashley & Reed not only let us take pictosnaps of them, but it was also their wedding day too!  What were the odds of that?!  Well, pretty good, seeing as how they booked us and everything else like that, but that’s beside the point.

As I was saying, it their magicalfantastical wedding day, and we were lucky enough to be a part of it!  And do you want to know something?  Well, I don’t care if you do or if you don’t, ’cause I’m just going to tell you.  They were awesome.  Totally and completely.  No joke.  Straight dope.  MmmmmHmmm.  And if you doubt me on this, I’m going to ask you to just keep following these words until you get to the sweetly samplesnaps and you’ll have genuine pictographic evidence to backup my statement.  Before that, we gotta give MuchLove & ManyThanks to this sweet couple, their wedding party, and everyone else that made this day so great, and to all my lovely peeps out there in Land of Blog – Enjoy!
