Did You Think You Could Just Leave Me Like That???

Huh?? Did Ya???

I suppose that this might just be the thought that has been crossing the collective minds of all out there in the world of blog. You know, the thought that it’s just typical – the whole ‘build me up to break me down’ sort of thing.

I don’t blame you for having these feelings, but I’m promising you something – I’m gonna change. You just gotta give the O&J FunCenter just one more chance. I mean, think of the good times we’ve all had…Jimminy Christmas…we’re called the FunCenter. Just trust us. Actually, I’ll even show you how serious we are. Prepare thyselves for an innundation of blog entries, each one better than the next, all of them just as prescious as any other.

Get ready, because we are about to enter a new era of acronyms, this one will be called DYTYCJLMLT (because of the title, natch.)

Peace Out

If Confronted By a Snowplow…

The best defense is to run for your life. Run and jump over the nearest snow bank. Desperately attempt to convince your friends to join you, and then crawl back out once you realize that this was not a snowplow, and was instead a mid 80’s Chevy passenger car; all the while trying to explain that it is better to be wary the plow and be wrong, than to tempt the plow and face your demise.

I learned this lesson back in the winter of ’91 (that sounds real old-timey) with some good friends, which I had the great opportunity of seeing this past week. Mad shout out to oldoldoldoldoldold friends of Otis (and fellow students of the blog) Aisling (I’ve Discovered Your World) R. & Deb (What About Italy) K!

Now, I know to the faithful bloggerites that are out there, you’re wondering, “What does this have to do with the price of tea in China.” (which is an entirely different conversation – and I’m not even sure if that is a culturally aware expression to use anymore), but this can also serve as a bulletin to announce that after a week in which James had the great pleasure of also visiting long time blogger/Sister of James, Reba, and Otis went back to the roots of his existence for some much-needed R&R, lest we go craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazy – we are back.

Well, I’ve got a ton of posts to put up, so enough of these trips down the much loved mem-lane. We’re refreshed, not crazy, and ready to rock your socks off, beezos.

otis out

Hi…I’m Ringo.

I’m not a drummer.
I like the lake, treats, and squirrels.
That Great Dane that walks by the house makes my head crazy.
That’s about it.

A Message From Matt & Jamie

We would like to thank everyone that expressed their condolences to us during this past week. It has been a tough month for us, and the support that we have received from our friends, family and clients has been of great importance.

It has been difficult for us, as the business really only consists of Jamie and myself. The loss of my father was an event that greatly impacted us on a personal level, and likewise has had an impact on the business too. We know there has been frustration from our clients during this time, but be assured that absolutely every effort has been made over this period to ensure a continuity of services to our clients. We know that turn-around times have been extended, but your needs as a client have not been forgotten. We also understand that life goes on, and time marches on.

Over the coming days, we will regain the service times that we normally expect, and hope to return to whatever normal is around here. Both Jamie & myself were faced with difficult decisions over this past month in regards to our time management. I am thankful that our focus was on spending time with my father, as the importance of this far surpasses any other choice that could have been made.

My dad was very proud of our business; he had the opportunity to see it grow from the baby stages to where it is now. He was also a believer in hard work, and we know that he wouldn’t want the business to suffer over him. We will honor his memory, and we will do this by continuing to build our business, and by serving our clients needs.

We thank you for your understanding, and we promise to never get so heavy on you again.

Much Love
One Love

A Small Dog…or Puppy, If You Will

Puppies…don’t ya just love ’em? With their waggy tails, and fur and what not.

We had a little visitor in the O&J Funcenter this afternoon – a relation (not by blood) of one of our lovely clients!!

We wish all the best to this puppy as he goes through the trials and tribulations of puppyhood, and can’t wait until he moved up to dog-hood – Enjoy!

Variety Show Super Post!!!

We took a break from the O&J Supercenter for the Advancement of Humanoids and made a visit to the High School, for the Variety Show!! We didn’t have things like this in my High School. This group of students was just filled with unbelivable amounts of talent. – and lo and behold we actually knew some of them (not that these two things are related)!

See if you can find some of our past Seniors – there’s Jenna, Jared, Katie, Wade, Kayla, Alison, Mark, soon to be Senior/Brother of Jamie/First Person to Ever Post on the Blog – Andy, and friend of Otis & James – Travis!! We had a great time and were thoroughly entertained by all – so we thought we’d post some snaps from the night – Enjoy!

My Brother the Rocker

I just wanted to share a few pics of My Brother the Rocker jamming with his band.

James

ed.
This post started out as the second post in the over 300 entries that have been made on the blog (and it also started out being called ‘My Borther the Rocker’ – but that’s what ed’s are for. So indeed, it is a special occasion when the author of the post is none other than James herself (which sounds kind of strange, but I assure it is not)! So let’s hear James for making the next baby step in the world of the blog, and let’s hear it for her (not so little) brother Andy and his mastery of all things that rock – great job, my homeslice (and of course to your fellow rockers Mackey & Slorby)!
