Wade & Erin

Not this past Saturday, but the Saturday that was the past of the past (we’re goin’ all the way back to the golden olden years that we call a couple of Fridays Past!), the Otis & James Caravan of Love Tour 2006 packed up and headed South, to a land called Linton!

What, my dear blogger is probably asking themselves, brought you all the way to this mythical place? Well, it wasn’t just a lazy afternoon drive, or a change of scenery that we were after. Oh no, it was the wedding of Wade & Erin that brought us to this woderful locale!

It seems like eons ago (is that really a word?) that we first had the good pleasure of meeting this wonderful couple, but here we were again, and it was the big time, the main event, the moment we’ve all been waiting for, their wedding!

We had an absolutely wonderful time with this wonderful couple and their wonderful wedding party in this wonderful town (did you see that – that’s four freakin’ wonderfuls!), and me thinks there are some pretty sweet shots of the big day. Well, seeing as how it’s been this long of a wait for some samplesnaps, I will now just say ‘thank you’ to Wade & Erin for being so great to work with over the past year, and to all you all out there in Blog Land – Enjoy!

Ryan & Necey

Now, let’s go back in time, to a place that I shall refer to (and you can too, if you so desire) as a couple of Fridays ago (that’s not this past Friday, but the one before for those of you calendarally challenged), the Otis & James Caravan of Love Tour 2006 pulled out of the Minot station, and set the controls to head us to the land called Kenmare…for the wedding of Ryan & Necey!

Where can I begin to tell y’all out there about how awesomely fun this couple and their wedding party (and family too!) were! I guess I actually told you just there, but anyway, my simple meandering sentences can not begin to do justice to the amount of total fun we had in this land of geese, called Kenmare!

We had an absolutely wonderfultacular (it’s a word, look it up) time working with everyone, and we would like to say a super big ‘thankyouthankyouthankyou’ to one and all – you’re all beautiful! Now, enough of these words, and let’s get to the main event, some snappysnaps – so, without any further delay, Ryan & Necey – Enjoy!

Good Ol’ Cousin Ryan, and the Lovely Jennifer!

A couple of Sundays ago, well, too many Sundays ago to remember (you can take me down to the O&J Punishment Center, which is located in the sketchy dank basement and do what seems fit…mucho ((that’s espanõl for ‘much’…I think…I might actually be wrong)) apologies to this lovely couple for taking so long to get the goods up on the site…and of course, it happens to familia ((which is some language for ‘family’))…I’m not even sure what is happening with this sentence punctuation, so I’m just gonna end this part now) we had a special visit from my good ol’ (actually younger than me) cousin Ryan, and his lovely lady Jennifer, and the cause was some super-sweet-engagement-photo-graphs!

They bounded into the studio ready to get down to biz (that’s professional lingo for ‘business’), and get down to biz is exactly what they did! They straight up rocked it up, so much so that when it came time for us to stop, you could see the tears welling in the eyes of Ryan, as you could tell that he never wanted the session to end (he’s such a diva!) We had a great time, and we look forward to their big day!

Well, we know the drill, I need to stop talking and we need to get ready to see some of the super sweet snaps (that’s photographer for ‘pictures’) that were gotten (and how could they not be sweet, as Ryan & I are actually twins separated at birth, ((I think it’s time that we all just admited that this is the truth)) and by genetic traits alone I knew he was going to be an awesome mixture of rugged masculinity mixed with a flirtatious soul, and wrapped in a body that could be used as a prototype for all men…and as if that wasn’t enough, Jen is the true beauty of this couple – absolutely gorgeous!) Alright, enough already and let’s see some of the goods – Enjoy!

Brock & Shauna!

Yesterday evening (that’s right…two in a row from the previous day…amazing) came to an absolutely lovely close with a visit from new friends of the Otis & James Circus, the one and only (well, there’s actually two) Brock & Shauna!

It seemed as if perhaps they had been practicing for weeks for this event, but I’m here to report that all of this just came effortlessly to them. How could this be? How could a couple pull this off unless they had been in a rigorous training regimen, plotting and planning their poses…knowing just how and when to work the camera. I mean, they must have been like Rocky Balboa getting ready to fight Drago in Rocky IV…holed up in some barn in the middle of Siberia, running up mountains with a log strapped across their backs. This is what I thought, this is what I thought.

Alas, there was no such regimen, only effortless beauty eminating from this couple. It may have something to do with love…whoa…am I getting all Lifetime on y’all?? Alright, I think it’s time for me to stop before I get to deep, and just throw out a quick thank you to this wonderful couple, and to all our there in the world of blog – Enjoy!

Josh & Sarah

The Otis & James Caravan of Love Tour 2006 pulled out of the Minot station this past week, and headed toward the far away land of Cinncinnattiicinncatti…uhh…I’m not quite sure how to spell it, but I do know that it was right on the border of good ol’ Can-Tuckee!! YEE-HAW!!

What was the reason for this supertrip of all supertrips, you may be asking yourself? You may ask yourself, how do I work this? You may ask yourself, where is that large automobile? Wait, wait, that’s not this song. This song is not a rebel song, this song is about the incredibly gorgeous dynamic duo of Josh & Sarah!

Sarah is the longlonglonglonglong-time-old-friend of our very own James, so she not only got to be a photo-grapher, she also had the great, great honor of being a part of this special day for her friend. Alright, that’s getting a little on the too sappy side, and I think that it’s best if we veer from the sappy, and instead focus on what a gorgeous group of peeps we got to work with over this past week!

James has reported to me that she had an absolutely stupendous time, and I’m here to report that the road trip of all road trips (and I’m giving a shout-out to my main man Andy for riding shotgun throughout) was a wonderful experience, and this awesome day with Josh & Sarah was a truly epochal moment for everyone!

Much love to all involved, (there’s too many to name, but y’all know who you are!), and to the Bride & Groom, thank you for letting us be a part of this day – Alright, no more sap – Enjoy!

Don’t forget to click the link at the end of this post offering more of Josh & Sarah…oh, and remember, be sure to git you some Joop!

Tom & Jessica

This past Saturday Saturday past (that’s two past Saturday’s, for those of you that are keeping up with the home edition of ‘the blog’, and I’m looking at you, Jenny) we at the Otis & James Center for Wedded Bliss and Photo-Graphs (O&JCFWBAPG) had the goodgollygoodgosh great pleasure of working with our old friends, Tom & Jessica…and you want to know something…it was their wedding!

It’s crazy how that works, how we always seem to first take the engagement, and then next thing you know we’re right up in the midst of the wedding day! The time flying principal is a tricky one indeed, my fellow Einsteins. This day was no exception to these scientific thoughts, as it just seemed like yesterday that we were first meeting this wonderful couple!

The day was gorgeous; the weather beautiful, and the participants were equally as gorgeous! We would like to thank one and all for being so wonderful to work with, and we would also like to give the Bride & Groom a heartfelt Congratulations, and – Enjoy!

Nathan & Jeannine!

Our Friday Last (that sounds kind of like the start of a poem, but alas, you will find no word beauty around here, just good ol’ fashioned werds around these here parts) came to a lovely end with a visit from this fantastic couple!

We had a joyous little time (now, that sounds like the start of a Christmas song, but it’s waaaaaayyyyy to warm for that) working with them, and all of the pieces came together, and you know what, they came together to form a wonderful shoot! We can not wait until the main event for this lovely couple, but for now we must be satisfied with these sweet sweet engagement snaps – Enjoy!

Blake & Danae!

Keeping up with the adventures, life and times of a studio called Fun (but you can call it the FunCenter…is that starting to sound creepy? Like one of those places as a child you would be taken to that might have some great name, but in reality it was lame-oh…like, you would go to Chuck E. Cheese, but some of the animatronic animals might be broken, and you’ve been waiting and waiting to see the sweet Chuck E. Cheese animatronic show, because it’s your birthday and you’ve been waiting all year for this moment, and when the time finally gets there, you realize that what you had built it up to be in your head is far better than the reality of it all…is the FunCenter becoming that??) I’m going to continue that parenthetic thought out into the regular body of this post and answer with a resounding NO! And I know this to be true, as our super-awesome session with the absolutely wonderful Blake & Danae confirmes with great certainty that the FunCenter indeed lives up to its name, because our time with this super-couple (again, I make no claims of certainty to their super-powers, or lack thereof) was indeed, nothing but fun! NOTHING BUT FUN!!!

Now, let me throw some love toward Blake & Danae for taking time to visit us on this fine evening, and for all of you our there in Blogland, you will know the love I have for you with this one word – Enjoy!

Travis & Leah

Saturday was an absolutely wonderful day in the world of O&J; birds was singin’, sun was all shinin’, and good friends of O&J, none other than Travis & Leah were going to be married! The best part of all of this is that we got to be there for the festivities!

As I said, it was an absolutely wonderful day, and we were happy to spend it with such a wonderful couple (and their wedding party was pretty much totally awesome as well!) They were all patient, as we made them brave the hot weather, but it was all for a good cause – that of taking the most sweet wedding photo-graphs ever. But it would not be us that made the photographs so sweet, it was none other than Travis & Leah that made the day so totally awesome for us!

We would like to extend a true thank you to all that made our day so great – everybody and everything was wonderful (and could you believe that slideshow during the reception??? Craaaaaaaaazy good!) – you’re all awesome in the big book of O&J (which may or may not mean that much to you, but at least it’s something.)

How many times must you listen to me ramble on and on and on about this stuff…let’s get to the goods – Enjoy!

Jeremy & Chelsie

On this past Friday, the doors of the FunCenter opened up, but this time it was real real real special, because it was the wedding of none other than the super awesome dude/dudette combination of Jeremy & Chelsie!

They, along with their merry band of wedding party revelers (which is a word, I looked it up) came into the studio, and absolutely tore it up! Which was a good thing, as it was like 417º outside (and thats Farenheit, y’all), so the kool confines of the studio proved themself as the dope bomp (I think that this expression is still used…hello…anybody still use it besides me) coolio environment to do some awesome studio shots of this beautiful party.

And, as if that wasn’t enough, we also got to partake in the whole days festivities; from the ceremony all the way to the fabulous reception! Much fun was had by all, and I’m here to report that great amounts of fun were had by Otis & James, and that we would love to thank this couple for being so great to work with! Without any further delay, Jeremy & Chelsie – Enjoy!
