Lexi & Josh!

Yesterday afternoon we were joined by special guests, and old friends of Otis & James – Lexi & Josh! Some of you may remember Josh from before, and Lexi is soon to have her own Senior post as well! But before we get too ahead of ourselves, let’s get back to the matter at hand – some sweet sweet Prom snaps!

This was kind of a dress rehearsal for their actual prom, and it was fantastic! They were awesome, and they totally owned the shoot – let this dress rehearsal be the notice that they are completely ready for the real deal. No more practicing, they know all their lines Well played, Lexi & Josh, well played.

It seems tha that I have pretty much hit the point of the post in which I start rambling on and on using tired old cliches, so me thinks it better to move on to the photographic evidence form the day.

Hayden!

On Thursday we had the great pleasure of working with a young man by the name of Hayden! He, along with his entourage came in to the studio for some good ol’ fashioned Portraits!

This young man was absolutely wonderful – a treat to work with, and such a great attitude as we snapped away. A big thank you to Hayden and his assistants for coming (back) down to the studio this evening, and we would now just like to get to the goods – Enjoy!

Derek & Whisper

On Thursday (I seem to begin a lot of posts this way – it seems real kid-like, or something…perhaps there’s something wrong with my head, but back to the post) new friends to Otis & James Derek & Whisper came down to the studo for some super-fantastico-deluxe-orama Portraits!

They were awesome, at ease and relaxed as we took their visual representations and converted them to a digital form, in order to enduce enjoyment that lasts beyond the moment, and can perhaps surpass even our own lives and live on, because we are all made of stars, as Moby would say.

Well, with that in mind, let’s begin this process (and a big thank you to Derek & Whisper for being so great!) – Enjoy!

Coleman!

On Wednesday, our studio came alive as we had the great pleasure of meeting and working with a bright young man by the name of Coleman!

What can I say about this wonderful little man other than he was awesome, fantastic, and super all rolled into one. Awetasticer. That really the only way to describe it.

A big thank you to Mom & New Sis for helping out, and especially to Coleman for being such a rocker – Enjoy!

Jon (Mom & Dad Too!)

Our Tuesday came to a lovely conclusion, as the doors of the studio opened up, and we were visited from our new friend Jon, and his assistants (Mom & Dad.)

He needed some pics. I guess he felt that his portfolio was getting a little stale, and it was time to update. So he suited up (a couple of different outfits – one of which was a dandy custom track suit!), and he rocked it up!

He was even kind enough to let his assistants jump in for a couple of shots, and the results were fantastic! We would like to thank Jon & Family for taking time this evening, and for being so great to work with – Enjoy!

Jacob!

Sometimes all you gotta say is, Dang. That man’s good. And in this case, I’m gonna leave it at that, because when Jacob came down to the studio – he owned the shoot.

It was effortless, he made our lives as simple as could be, and the results were pure gold, baby.

A big O&J thank you (or, mad props – depending on whichever you prefer) to Jacob for taking time to come and visit us, and for rocking it up so tough. Without any further delay – Enjoy!

Lillee!

Alright now, we’re finally posting entries which correspond to shoots that have occurred during the same week – Hooray!!

This past Tuesday, we had a special visit from some new friends that came all the way from Montana!! Our super special guest was none other than the one and only Lillee! She also brought along an entourage, or as the kids are fond of saying, a veritalbe ‘posse’ that consisted of Mom & Big Sistah (I’m trying to keep it street, but for those of you that don’t speak street, Sistah is actually ‘Sister’ – I know, it’s confusing, but I trust that my fellow bloggerites will be able to follow.)

This was yet another shoot in which the Otis & James photographic team, consisting of James & Otis, were in awe of how this beautiful young lady was in complete control of the shoot. Plain and simple, with a cute factor as high as hers, the shoot straight up rocked. Straight up (again, street.)

We would like to thank these lovely ladies for visiting us on this afternoon, and would now like to let some samples out of our greedy computer, and share them with the world – Enjoy!

Natalie & Neal!

Last Thursday (and again, I’m talkin’ ’bout the one that came before the one that we just had) the Otis & James Center for Good Things (O&JCFGT) opened up the doors and welcomed our new friends, Natalie & Neal!

The cause – some Sweet & Tasty Senior Pics! I don’t quite know why I capitalized Sweet & Tasty, but it works. This reminds me of a story. Way back in the good ol’ Mounds View High School days, one of my classes was poetry. A fun class, good teach, etc.. One of my fellow students wrote a poem that he presented to the class, and the title of it was ‘My Sweetheart’ or something to that extent, but as he passed the photocopied version through the class, we came to see that he had instead titled it ‘My Sweatheart’, which conjures a whole new set of mental imagery. One wrong letter, and something so good can turn to something so wrong.

What does this have to do with Natalie & Neal??? Nothing!! Back to 2006 again, we had a great time working with this dynamic duo, and would like to say thank you for being so easy to work with. So – Enjoy!

Dustin & Natasha!

Last Wednesday (and I’m not talking just yesterday, I’m talkin’ the one before – we didn’t forget about you!) Otis & James welcomed our new friends Dustin & Natasha to the studio for some good ol’ fashioned engagement photographs!!

It was all good (is it still OK to say ‘all good’?) in our land of photographic love/good times, and it was all because of this totally awesome couple! We look forward to working with them in the near future, and would now like to offer up some photographic goods from the evening – Enjoy!
