SSHM v.5 :: The Family Wiekamp!

And then our day came to a lovely conclusion with a visit from the Family Wiekamp! We have had the great pleasure of working with one member of this family previously, so it came as no suprise to us that this was a great group of peeps to work with!

They came on down to the FunCenter, confident, and ready to rock! And, my friends, rock they did! We had – of course – a truly wonderful time working with this group, and from the bottom of the Otis & James Heart (some blockage, but good enough to get the job done), we wish them a happy holiday season! And to all of you peeps waiting for what I’m about to say – Enjoy!

SSHM v.4 :: The Family Hight!

Alright, Alright…Alright! The good times just kept on a comin’ at the FunCenter this past Saturday, as we welcomed the Family Hight inside of our festive confines! Dad had been down here before, but that was business…this time it was nothing but pleasure as he, and his super lovely family came on down for some totallyawesomefamilysnaps!

If you want to know the truth (and, I’m pretty sure that most of you out there are seekers of the truth, or at least the truth as Otis sees it), we actually just put the camera on a tripod, stood back, and let this totally awesome family do all of the work. Seriously. They were that good. They had a veritable playbook of ideas, and all of them were brilliantly executed. The months of preparation paid off, in spades.

We had a wonderful time working with this lovely fam, and we wish them all the best this holiday season, and to all of you all of you all of you all out there in the enchanted land of blog – Enjoy!

SSHM v.3 :: The Family Prince!

This family feels like they are a part of our family, as they are frequent visitors to the FunCenter – and we love them for it! As is usual, we had an absolutely wonderful time working with the Family Prince…and, if memory serves me, this is the fist time that we’ve been able to get the Mother & Father part out from the shadows of the Stu-Stu-Studio, and in front of the lights! How Grand!

We would now like to give a big o&j hug to all the members of the Family Prince for taking time out from their lives, and making a little bit o’ time for the FunCenter! Well, I’m gonna keep these short and sweet, so to all of you out there in the land of blog, Be Happy, and – Enjoy!

SSHM v.2 :: The Family Overby!

I defy you, all you out there in the land of blog, I defy you to look at the bottom photograph and now feel something welling up inside of you that sounds like ‘awwwwwwww’. You may have thought that you were incapable of feeling such things, you may have thought that the big city has jaded you to all that is prescious and lovely in the world, but this lovely young lady should snap you right out of it.

Oh…and the parents were pretty sweet too! In fact the whole of the family Overby was perfection, and that’s the straight dope, from a straight shooter (me). We would now like to thank this lovely family for stopping by the Center for the Study of Fun and Fun Type Activities, Such As Sledding and Popsicle Making (CFTSOFAFTASASAPM), and we wish them all the best this Holiday Season – Enjoy!

SSHM v.1 :: The Brothers Nehring!

We got off to a superawesomerocking start with a visit from the Brothers Nehring (with that title, it seems that they should be the Presidents of a large company)! They worked the camera, the got the poses in, they set the bar high, and I mean high for those that would follow them!

We had a wonderful time working with these wonderful brothers, and we wish them all the best in their Holiday endeavors (i.e. – get all that you want from Santy Clause)! Many thanks to them, and their lovely assistant (Mom) for stopping by the FunCenter, and to all of you out there in the land of blog – Enjoy!

BLC v.7 :: The Courtney Edition!

And, how do you think that our Friday past came to end? Did it end with Otis & James getting into a wild car chase through the streets of downtown Minot, being chased by every police officer on duty, and being chased by some that just wanted to be part of a car chase (and, the chase was over a $5.00 parking ticket – but you gotta enforce, you gotta enforce), and eventually, the chase let right up to the mighty and raging Souris River – and O&J were faced with the prospect of trying to jump the river with the Nissan, or being captured by la Policia – and the camera froze and a ‘To Be Continued’ title flashed across the screen, or, were we visited by a lovely Senior by the name of Courtney?

Well, seeing as how there are no pictures of the o&j krüe blazing through the streets of Minot in the Nissan below, and instead there are picto-graphs of a lovely young lady by the name of Courtney smiling up at us, I’m pretty sure that all of you can figure it out. But, for those of you that aren’t good with stories (and Ben, I’m looking at you), we took pics of Courtney.

We had a wonderful time working with Courtney, and we would like to thank her for taking some of her Courtney time and making it into Otis & James time (which, coincidentally, is what Mountain Time used to be called), and to all of you peeps that keep comin’ back out there in the space and time known as the inter-net – Enjoy!

BLC v.6 :: The Michelle Edition!

Friday at the FunCenter started off with a visit from new friend to Otis & James, the lovely and talented Michelle! I know, I know, you’re all sitting there wondering why we were so fortunate to have the one and only, the lovely and talented Michelle stop down to the FunCenter, and even though some of you may be thinking that the main reason that she stopped down was so she could sit and listen as Otis went on and on and on about what his views of the world are (see Brittany for additional information), and life in general, but alas – this was not the reason.

She came down to have some superseniorsnaps taken, and do not think that we let her down on this, as take some superseniorsnaps was exactly what we did, and we did it in style (as opposed to, say, taking them not in style? Stick with me, friend, stick with me) and had a great time as well!

We’d like to give mad props (and for all of you that aren’t quite as hip as I am, that means we give a large amount of thanks) to Michelle for taking time out of her life to visit us down at the Center for the Study of Fun and other Pursuits (CFTSOFAOP), and to all of you all of you all out there in blogville – Enjoy!

BLC v.6 :: Alexandria!

Some Thursdays, in fact, most Thursdays, all the people of the FunCenter awaken and wonder how it will be that we will start the day? Will we begin by photographing a dog and cat that – in theory – are best of friends, but on this particular day seem to only want to cause harm to eachother? Will we begin it by picto-graphing a man with a corn cob pipe – and the emphasis needs to be more on the corn cob, less on the man? Will we start off by having to take pictures of some trash on the ground, because our Photo I portfolio is due by class at 2:00 this afternoon, and we have yet to even learn how to properly load film into our cameras, let alone about composistion, and that trash on the ground looks like it may blow minds when unveiled at critique?

Or…

Will we start our day of superawesome picto-graphing by working with somebody that was as totally awesome as the one and only Alexandria was! You see, as fun as any of those other options could be, we really love it when we start off our day at the FunCenter with someone as totally sweetlysweet as Alexandria – we wish that not just our Thursdays would be like this, but that every day would be like this! Because our time with Alexandria was awesome, sweet, rocking, and any other number of adjectives for ‘totally sweet’ that you could come up with.

But, what does any of this have to do with the price of tea in China? And what does that mean? I DON”T KNOW! Enough of this nonsense, and on with the pics – MuchLove to Alexandria for making the trip to see us (you’re awesome!), and to all of you peeps of blog – Enjoy!
