BLC v.5 :: The Family Fockler!

Our run of luck with superloverlygorgeous families continued, as we welcomed the one and only (well, the only at our studio this past Wednesday night) Family Fockler to the FunCenter for some goodoldtimey (and no, calling them old-timey does not mean that they dressed up in old outfits and all had guns and they got back a sepia-toned print that we would look back upon and chuckle at, although there may be a sepia print, it’s küül sepia, not lame sepia – got it?) family snaps!

We have worked with the ladies of this family many times before, so we knew that they were going to be rockstars of the highest order, but what we didn’t know was that if you put daddio in the mix, it only increased their powers of awesomeosity by the power of sixteen or so. Yeah. You heard me. Sixteen.

Well, I’m not just going to stand over here in the corner and blather on and on about these snaps like some sort of a madman, oh no. I’m gonna just give some love to this wonderful family for making a little time for o&j, and to all you all you all you all out there in blog land – Enjoy!

BLC v.4 :: The Morelli Family!

And sometimes, you get a family that is made for the camera. You see, from a personal level, my family was not made for the camera. Sure, I know that I was prolly (that means probably, for you squares out there) the most photo-genic person that most people have ever come across, but that’s where it stopped. Well, on second thought, all of us alone had our own unique thing going on. If you were to have an individual shoot with each member of the fam, you would get something…good. But, you put all of the elements together, and it would turn into something…not good.

It’s like, all of the following are good: steak, iced cream, foot long hot dogs, california rolls, a glass of port, lasagna, bubble gum, iced coffee, tangerines, and wheat grass. You would, however, not want to see all of those items on a plate together. Well…actually…that list doesn’t look that bad, but from a culinary viewpoint (and congratulations to the family Morelli, as their post was the first on the blog to use the word ‘culinary’), there is no unifying theme. Like having a bunch of great opening paragraphs, but no body to back it up.

The family Morelli, brought the heat (I think that’s a baseball term.) They were unified in their total awesomeosity, and they came into our lives at the FunCenter and showed us the real deal. Dang. They was good. But enough of this craziness, let’s get to the part where you sit back in your chairs and enjoy the happy good time pictures. Without any further delay, and with muchlove to this family for stopping by, we give you the family Morelli – Enjoy!

BLC v.3 :: The Family Murphy!

And then on Tuesday, we gots to spend a little bit of quality time with some old friends of O&J, the family Murphy, and they came down for…wait for it…wait for it…do you think you can guess what I’m gonna say? Well, regardless of what you think, they came down from some sweetlysweetfamilysnaps!

We, as usual, had a wonderful time working with this lovely family, and they brought their A-Game (now, I’m not much of an athelete, or for that matter even much of a watcher of athletic events, but I’m pretty sure that this is some sort of a metaphor for doing a really good job, as opposed to bringing the B-game, which would be like, well, like not doing a good job…or something…like I said, not really a ‘ESPN Guy’, more of a ‘Food Network Guy’, but I digress) for us to see!

We’d like to think this lovely fam for taking time for a little O&J in their lives, and to all of you all of you all of you all out there in the land of blog – Enjoy!

BLC v.2 :: The Family Fitzsimmons!

Our wonderful Monday continued with a visit from our new friends, The Family Fitzsimmons! Guess what? They came down not just to say hello, oh no, they came down for some supersweetfamilytimesnaps, and this they did do, or get, or both, I’m not really sure what they correct way of saying it is, I’m just sure that they came on down, we took some picto-graphs, there were laughs to be had, and at the end I had a warm and squishy feeling inside like I had just been a part of something that was good!

So, taking all of those symptoms in to consideration, I would definately say that they indeed did get some supersweetfamilytimesnaps, and we were happy to be a part of it! We’d like to take some love, and send it their direction for giving us a little bit of their valuable time, and to them and everyone else lurking out there in the land of blog – Enjoy!

BLC v.1 :: The Nick Edition!

Starting the festivities off was a visit to the FunCenter by the one and only Nick! He sauntered (which means, to walk in a relaxed manner, for those of you that think I just make all of this stuff up) on in through the doors of the stu-stu-studio (which, is a Phil Collins reference, for all of my OTA bloggers out there…wait…I just realized that whatever bit of street cred I had, I just lost by making a reference to Phil Collins…hurumph) and was ready to rock up some sweetsweetseniorsnaps, and rest assured my people, he did do just that!

Nick even had the one and only Otis as his photog. (which, is short for photographer, for those of you that aren’t hip to the abbrev’s like I expect you to be), which was a rare treat (for him, and for me…at least I hope it was a treat for him) for those of you that are in the know in the land of FunCenter. Otis dusted off his shooting clothes (which, suprisingly, are not camouflaged, but oddly, do include a blaze orange top), and joined up with the ever lovely Kinzo for some sweetsnaps of Nick!

Nick, I’m here to tell y’all, did not disappoint in our quest for the goods. In fact, he was a total and complete rock star of the highest order, and you don’t have to take my word for this, you just have to look a lil’ bit down the page to see the factual evidence…but don’t look just yet, as we have to take just a li’l bit o’ time to thank Nick for all of his hard work, and for spending some time with us on a lovely Monday afternoon. To him and all my peeps of blog – Enjoy!

On The Road: Andy & Charity!

This past week, our roving photographer James (or, as she likes to be called ‘Queen James’, or ‘Local Photog.’, or ‘Free Spirit’, or ‘Simply The Best’, or ‘The Minster of Pixels’, or ‘Photoshop Master’, or ‘Your Source For All of Your Lumber Needs’, or ‘The Best Brakeman This Side of Pittsburgh’, or ‘Student of the Month, April 1988’, or ‘The One That Ringo Desires’, or even ‘Andy’s Sister’…she actually likes to be called all of those, before you are allowed to address her, and for the love of all things good and well, DO NOT MAKE EYE CONTACT WITH HER!!) had the good fortune of being in the MinneApple for some piercing (much to the chagrin of Mothah Rennich), and took a little time from her sojourn to visit old friends of Otis & James, none other than the absolutely lovelygorgeousandsupersexy Andy & Charity!

Shucks, these two brought the goods, and then some. But what else would we expect from this dynamic duo that we are so fortunate to know! How we miss them, oh, how we miss them. As hard as change is, sometimes it’s necessary. That won’t stop us from missing them, but…at least we’ll have these wonderful samplesnaps from our last visit.

There will be many more visits for this couple, as it gives us a reason to get the flork out of Minotia. Well, I think it be best just to give a side order of love to this wonderful couple, and to let them know that they will always be a part of the o&j innercircle, and to all of you out there in the land of blog – Enjoy!

Lance & Darla

And so it was, that after a mad summer and fall filled with weddings that we found ourselves at the end of the road [cue: Boys II Men/dim white lites/bathe stage in blue/solitary spotlite on Otis]. Where do we begin? It seems, to be cliched, just like yesterday that we started the season up. It was May, and all of what we know now to be the past was still potential.

Days become weeks become months, and here we found ourselves finishing out the end of the wedding season, in a land called Fargo, with a gorgeous couple by the name of Lance & Darla. We could not have wished for a more wonderful way to end this season, as every aspect of this day was perfection to behold!

This perfect state started at the top, with the wonderful couple, and continued down through the wedding party, family, and every other person involved with the day. Our role was just to take a little bit of this perfection, and put it into a form that they will, through the years, look back upon and marvel at how wonderful their day was, in the town of Fargo, on the third week of October in the year of 2006.

It was a perfect end to this season. To Lance & Darla, a big offering of muchlove from o&j.

And to all of you out there in the land of blog – Enjoy!

Drew! At Last!

For those of you that consider your bad selves to be regular readers of the blog, you may recall sometime in the not so distant past there was a dilemma of a young lady by the name of Dru, which I had confused with a young man by the name of Drew (click here for the related post).

In a nutshell, my mind was completely blown for a period of time while I tried to figure out how space and time worked again, but soon Jamie came along and saved the day (as usual), and all was well again in the land of the FunCenter!

Which brings us to today, and this young man by the name of Drew, and let me be perfectly honest with you, he came to the studio ready to rock, and rock, as I’m sure you’re all guessing, he did! I’m not going to babel on and on as I normally do, because I’m guessing that there are probably some people out there that just want to get to the pics, but I am going to say that, on a personal Otis level, I think drew is the tops because of his hoodie pics! LONG LIVE THE HOODIE!

A’ight, enough talking, much love to Drew & all that made his shoot possible, and for all of you out there in the land of blog – Enjoy!
