SMBF v.11 :: The Kelly & Nikki Edition!

And, our voyage in the WayBack Machine (which is actually not that bad on gas) continues, and this time we are setting the coordinates to a land called Tioga; and it’s not just because we want to find out more about this lovely town, but because not this past Saturday, but this SaturdaySaturday past (and for those of you that aren’t 100% up to their math skillz, that means it was two Saturdays ago) the Otis & James Caravan of Love, Sponsored by the Otis & James Center for the Study of Marsupials, and Marsupial Gambling Habits (O&JCFTSOMAMGH) pulled into this wonderful town for the wedding of Kelly & Nikki!

We had an absolutely fantastical time working with this lovely couple and their equally lovely wedding party and family! We put them through all sorts of total nightmare shooting situations (most of which involved freezing their arses off), but they did it, and they did it in style! I often wonder what it is that goes through the heads of our willing subjects as we put them into all sorts of uncomfortable situations in search of that perfect picto-graph, but it doesn’t take that much imagination to think of what might be going through their heads, but even so, they were totally wonderful, and handled all of our requests with grace!

So, to say that we offer one and all ‘muchlove’ for being so good is an understatement, but it will have to do for now, as I don’t think that the word for how awesome they were has been created yet! Well, I need to stop all of this talking and get on to the part where we pull up a chair, and gaze at the superawesomesamplesnaps! So, I will not delay this process any more – muchlove, and – Enjoy!

SMBF v.10 :: The Nathan & Jeannine Edition

Well, I don’t think that we’ve fired up the o&j WayBack Machine in quite a while. Yes sir, from the looks of it, it hasn’t been activated for quite some time. Well, that’s about to change. You see, we have to go back in time now, to a land, a land of space & time that is known as not this Friday past, but the Friday Friday past…yes, you heard me…I know you’re thinking to yourself, ‘How on earth can we go this far back? What are the risks? Will I ever see my family again??!!’

Well, I don’t have the answers for you on any of those questions, but the reason for our mission is of great importance, and that is so we can go back and be a part of the wedding of Nathan & Jeannine! We need to go back so our faithful bloggers can see the photographic wonderfulness that was their wedding day!

We need to put behind us any fears of what the consequences may be, and we need to focus (and for those of you keeping track, that’s the ‘hat-trick’ of me using that lame old pun this evening…thank you…thankyouverymuch) instead on the benefits…not just to us, but to the world as a whole!

What’s that you say, delusions of grandeur what? Well, you can keep those fancy words to yourself, because our mission awaits us. For all of you out there in the land of blog, we do this for you. And to the happy couple; thank you for letting us be a part of your day, and – Enjoy!

SMBF v.9 :: The Kelcee Edition!

Dear Kelcee,

Oh man, it’s been a long time! I hope that all is well in your world…all is well with ours! There is not that much to report here, other than the fact that we are missing you since our time in the FunCenter! Jeez, we had a blast – it was action packed, and you were – well – you were totally awesome!

Things is not the same since you left! But you know how it is…you just gotta keep on keepin’ on, right foot/left foot sort of a thing. But, like, no matter how much time goes by, we just keep thinkin’ about how awesome our time with you was, and how much we wish that we could return to the glory days…the days that used to be!

Well, there’s no use livin’ in the past, but at least we’ll always have the samplesnaps! Well, I’ll let you get back to your thang, but before you do I just want to again say thanks for giving us a little bit of yo time! Alright, enough of this sentimental stuff, let’s get to the pics – Enjoy!

Your Friends –
o&j

SMBF v.8 :: The Ashley Edition!

Shoot, man…I don’t know what it is, but the parade of lovely people that come through the doors of the FunCenter in order to have some superawesomelyincredibleseniorsnaps continued as we were visited by new friend to Otis & James, the always lovely and talented Ashley!

Why it is that we are so lucky, I’ll guess I’ll never know. In fact there are only a couple of things that I know to be true, both of which I can’t remember right now, so I’ll just have to accept the fact that my list of things I know to be true needs to be increased by one, because the newest thing that I know to be true is that Ashley is a wonderful person, and our time together was one filled with butterflies, rainbows, laughing children, and world peace!

It’s a shame that our session was only an hour long, because things were really starting to look good for humanity there, but oh well, catch ya next time, humanity. Well, the hour is late, and our time together is coming to an end, so relax, and get ready to stare at the happy little pixels that we know as being the samplesnaps – Enjoy!

SMBF v.7 :: The Emily Edition!

You know what? Emily came down to the FunCenter at some point during her life (most likely during the last two weeks, but it very well could have been 14 years ago, but unless she hasn’t aged that much during the past 14 years, I’m leaning toward the past couple of weeks, but what is time, really?), and during this time she so freely gave to us, she was – in a word – totally and completely awesome.

Straight up, and I’m not even kidding you on this, she was all things good, and all things better, and all things best rolled up into one supersweet combination of goodness, and sprinkled with all things extraordinary…now THAT’S what I’m talking about.

So, I think we need now take a moment to relfect upon what I have just said.

Still reflecting.
Still reflecting.
Still reflecting.
Still reflecting.
Still reflecting.
Still reflecting.

Ahh yes…I’m done reflecting, and now it is time for us to say thank you to Emily for stopping down to the FunCenter, and it shall from henceforth be known as the time for us to stare at the loverly picto-graphs – Enjoy!

SMBF v.6 :: The Christine Edition!

Yes…Yes! It’s all becoming clear to me now…I think earlier there was another post that was directly related to this post…it seems to me that it may have included a Sunday, a Sister, some Otis, a big ol’ helping of James, and a side of Kinzo, the FunCenter, three cats, two of which I forget the name to, but one of them I’m pretty sure was named Blackie, a 1985 Toyota Cressida Luxury 4 Door Wagon, a cab driver that we all affectionately called ‘Boscoe’ – even though he hated being called that, a man dressed up like a werewolf, a wagon that was decorated in magnets from Dominoes Pizza, a dresser that was filled with an antique wig collection, a series of stamps commemorating the Lincoln Douglass debates, the entire marching band from Irondale High School – New Brighton, Minnesota, some Tic-Tacs, an old Hootie and the Blowfish album, and a 13″ Black & White TV.

Yes, it’s all coming back to me now…oh…and one more thing, it was all about a wonderfully lovely young lady that went by the name Christine…and it was the conclusion to her superawesomeseniorsnaps! And…guess what…it was awesome! But, seeing as how you may or may not trust what I say to be as the crystal clear version of events, I suggest that you now turn your attention away from these short, relatively meaningless words, and instead focus (again…the sweet photographic pun) on all that is wonderful in the samplesnaps below – Enjoy!

SMBF v.5 :: The Morgan Edition!

A’ight. You think you can handle what I’m ’bout ready to put out there in the land of what, for conversation sake, we shall call the blog? What’s that? Oh…you think you can? Well, a’ight, if you say so, but I really don’t know if you are truly up to the total and complete rockin’ awesomeness that is the e’er lovely and talented Morgan!

You see, sometime, it was a while back, maybe it was a Tuesday, or maybe it was even a Friday, and the days don’t make the difference, it is the person that we’re working with that makes the difference, so it could have been any day, because that’s just how awesome Morgan was to work with!

She came down to the FunCenter and notified us that it was time to rock, and rock we did. At the end of her session, she again notified us that we had completed rocking, and rocking completed we were. That was that, and there were no questions about it. Morgan was wonderful to work with, and we’d like to thank her for coming down to the FunCenter and giving us a little bit of her prescious time! And to all y’all hangers on out there in the land of blog – Enjoy!

SMBF v.4 :: The Queen B, Steve, & Hobbes Edition!

Like, I’m actually going to shut the blog down after this post. Hotness. That’s all I’m gonna say. We’ve had the good fortune of working with this couple, our dear friends, the one and only Queen B and the even lovlier Steve (no offense, B) for quite some time. We have watched them grow from grasshopper to…uhh….until this very moment, I have never really thought about why it is that the student is called grasshopper, because it seems that the grasshopper would eventually evolve into something more better (yes, yes, I know the grammar issues with that, but it’s not my concern right now, and if it’s really bad, well, I’m gonna tell all y’all a secret out there. You see, if it is really bad, Queen B will change it. Yep. That’s right. She has the power to override Otis. The reason that I call her Queen B is that she is the only person that can punk me down in the way that she does. And I love her for it. She will send me e.mails and ask me if I was under the influence when I typed a post, because of the sheer amount of my mistakes. She is…the brains behind the blog. I feel like the curtain has been pulled back, and all of you see that the Wizzard is really just a bunch of smoke, mirrors, and in reality I’m just a shriveled old man), but the grasshopper just is. Like, it doesn’t become some sort of a sweet knife throwing dog, it just is what it is. Hmmm.

Well, now they have a dog, and it is called Hobbes. And I love all of them more than I love sliced bread and salsa combined. And that’s tons. Steve & Brittany & Hobbes & All Y’All – Enjoy!

And if you click this little teenie one, a big one will pop up!
