Yo ho ho, my good peeps of Blog!  It’s me, again.  It’s always me though, isn’t it.  I guess I could cut that part out and just get to the goods, but I feel like kind of a weirdo just jumping in, so I guess I will always feel compelled to introduce myself, otherwise it just seems kind of rude.  Then again, it’s kind of like I’m on an Island of Blog, and I’m the only inhabitant, because these words are just going on out into the cyperspace, so it would be like introducing myself to the air every time that I start speaking, which too would be weird.  But living alone on an Island makes you crazy after a while.  Either way, it’s me again.

I’m coming to you on this fine night of election with some sweetlysamplesnaps, and to be more accurate some totally righteous e.pics (and, that not ‘epic pics’, even though they are epic, the ‘e’ stands for something else) of the one and only, the supercouple that goes by the name of Laurie & Scott!

They sauntered into our lives on a day so fine not all that long ago (and, time is a loose concept in my world…I almost voted for Ross Perot again today), and made our lives all the brighter with their wondrous ways!

Wondrous Ways, incidentally, is the title of my self-help book coming out in the Spring of ’09.  But enough about me, I would now like to say that Laurie & Scott were totally awesome to work with, and we would like to give them a box full of MuchLove & ManyThanks, send the box to them via FedEx Priority Overnight.  Yeah, so we pretty much dig them.

We need to stop these words now and get to the goods, which are the samplesnaps.  To all my good peeps out there in Land of Blog getting ready to hear the election results – Enjoy!

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again.  I like a good stiff drink.  Wait.  That’s not what I meant to say.  What I meant to say is that our clients (that is, the peeps that come into our photographic lives and give us the material that comprises all of our photographic goodness) are beautiful.  Yep.  That’s what I’m saying.  And it’s the straight dope.  I know, you could probably sit there and say, ‘Well, this ‘otis’ person is just saying that because he has to, not because he really means it’ – but I’m here to tell you that if it wasn’t true, I wouldn’t say it.  Some people say that I don’t have a filter on my mind, thoughts or words that come out of my mouth.  This, my friends (dang you McCain for getting that stuck in my head) is true, and I’m unapologetic for it.

Really now, you don’t have to take my word for it, because as proof I’m offering up everything that you see on ‘the blog.’  For example, Kassy & Zach (as an aside, every time I try to spell ‘Kassy’ I inadvertantly type ‘Kazzy’, which albeit is an exciting and interesting name, but yet probably not what I should type.  I’ll let you out of my mind now.)  All you gotta do is look at their samplesnaps below (not yet…I’ll tell you when…I’m in charge of this ship) to see that I speak truth.

So, unapologetically, I will tell you that our clients are all beautiful.  I don’t know what we did to deserve this, but we thank our lucky stars every day for it.  Because there is no filter in Photoshop called ‘beautiful’…you just gotta have it.

So, with that in mind, you’re gonna have to sit back, relax, have a good stiff drink of Coca-Cola on the rocks, and get ready for the visual explosion that is the lovely engagement snaps of Kassy & Zach!  Oh, and by the way, be sure to – Enjoy!

Oh hi.  It’s me again here, and I just wanted to tell all y’all out there how much I love you.  Yep.  That’s it.  Well…I also want to tell you how special you are.  Yeah.  Both of those things.  And as long as we’re at it, I’d like to tell you that I’m a Cancer, and my favorite author is John Steinbeck.  Yeah.  That should pretty much be it for things that I would like to tell you.  Oh.  Wait.  One more thing.  As long as we’re here and your eyes are looking at these words, I guess I could also tell you that on a day so fine not all that long ago we at the Otis & James FunCenter of Fun and Centers had the goodlygreat pleasure of working with a wonderful couple that a lot of people out there like to call Allison & Kurt!

They came to the Center so Fun not just to have a lot of centered fun…oh no…my friends, they came here to have some totally awesome and wonderful pictosnaps taken for the purpose of their engagement!  You see, they will be getting married a little bit further down the road, and we’re also going to be there for that day, but until then you will have these wonderful samplesnaps to let you know just how awesome both the wedding day will be, and just how awesome this couple is!

Well I’m just drifting aimlessly in words now, so I think it’s time for us to give MuchLove & ManyThanks to this lovely couple for stopping down and giving us the photographic goods, and to all my good people out there in Land of Blog enjoying a late fall day so lovely – Enjoy!

I could sit here, in my nook, next to my puppy dog, in front of my computer, in my kitchen, at the counter, with the sound of Freddie King softly wailing out some blues, with the occasional sound of a car passing by, and the voices of those on the street below wafting up to my ears, with my mind filled with thoughts of when is a good time for lunch, while I keep glancing at the clock thinking that my circadian rhythms are all wrong, and my 2:06 in the afternoon is really like 9AM for most people, and wondering if this is alright, but then realizing that often times the hours between midnight and three AM are some of my most productive, but yet knowing that there is a voice inside my head saying that I should acclimate myself to society better, that I can’t be a vampire forever, I mean – I’m practically thirty…or something like that, and it’s time to grow up, but why – I mean, is there really some sort of a pressing impetus that requires I do this, or would it just be me succumbing to what society deems to be normal behavior, and I could sit here, and I could type all sort of gibberish about things that will long be forgotten once they travel out into the space that is the inteweb, and I could sit here, with these things filling my head, and I could sit here and I could produce some sort of gibberishly long way of saying that we took pictures of the absolutely beautiful Brianne & Tyler, and they were incredible.

I could do that.

I’m not going to.  I’m just going to say that they came into our studio, and they tore it up.  They knew what the story was, and they owned it.  Straight up, my babies.  So I’ll save you all the words, and I’ll just give a huge MuchLove & ManyThanks to this wonderful couple for gracing us with some of their sweet & precious time!  Oh, and to all my good peeps out there in Land of Blog sitting in your chairs – Enjoy!

I used to come up with witty titles for these blog posts, but after a few years of that your mind goes numb and you just kind of stick with names.  For example, I could have called this one ‘Fun In The Park With Bethany & Josh!’, or ‘The SweetlySnap E.Pics of Bethany & Josh!’, but it just becomes white noise after a while, and I’m not diluted enough to think you are here for the titles or even for these words.

You’re here, in case you have forgotten, to see the totally awesome samplesnaps of this wonderful couple!  Now, going back to the title thing, a part of me wants to think that I should shorten it up to just ‘Beth’ (which is a totally awesome song by Kiss, by the way), but I’m going with the full version.  Again, I think I could just put ‘Insert Couples Name Here’ as the blog title, and it wouldn’t affect your feelings toward the samplesnaps, because of that whole white noise thing again.

So, I’m going to stop all of this jibberjabber right now, because this totally awesome couple that we will be working with again on their wedding day need no additional words – their total awesomeosity is enough!  Before we leave, we want to give MuchLove & ManyThanks to this wonderful couple for giving us a little bit of their sweet and precious time, and to all my good people of blogworld out there in a fall day so lovely – Enjoy!

Oh yeah…hey…it’s me again.  Just thought that I would throw a ray of beautiful pictoriffic sunshine your way via the information superhighway (the interweb), and more specifically through what we in the world of o&j call ‘the blog’, and I’m not gonna do it through putting up a bunch of pictures of me and my doggie, or even me eating a grilled cheese sandwich (even though pictures of me eating a grilled cheese sandwich are very interesting, and I think some form of performance art, but I’ll leave those for later.)  Nope.  Instead, I’m going to put the sunshine into your lives via the wonderful sample snaps of Kelly & Josh!

You see, there was this time, that wasn’t all that long ago, when this dynamic duo sauntered into our studio and informed us that they needed some sweet bippy e.pics taken.  Well…it was something like that.  I know they came into the studio, and I know we took their pics.  But they may not have sauntered, and they may have actually scheduled an appointment in advance, but those things are just details, and I’m here more to weave a yarn than to provide an actual historical document of the time Kelly & Josh came to visit us.

Oh yes, back to Kelly & Josh!  Did I forget to mention that they were totally awesome, and the short time that we spent together was filled to the brim with excitement and pictoriffic goodness of all sorts?!  Well, I just told you, so now you know!

But who am I to just sit here and ramble on about how good they are, when you could just look at the sample pics and see for yourself.  So I will stop, and I will give MuchLove & ManyThanks to Kelly & Josh for beins so awesome, and to all of my good peeps of blog that are always so awesome – Enjoy!

Do you know what I dig about my job?  I mean, besides the fact that I get to make all the rules, follow only the ones that I choose to, I get to boss around employees, I can be late and nobody will write me up for it, there is no human resources department, I don’t have to be a part of any ‘performance reviews’, there are no mandatory in-services that I need to attend, I don’t have someone that is younger, less-educated and just straight up dumber than me bossing me around…well…you get the drift.  In case you haven’t already figured this out, I’ve pretty much been fired or asked to quit just about every job I’ve ever had before.  I’m not the kind of person that likes to be put ‘in a box’…I get cagey.  Or boxey.  Something like that.  But do you know what I dig more than all of those awesome things?  Getting to work with beautiful people like Kaela & Josh!

You see, that is really the best part of the job!  Every day, beautiful people come into our lives, just like this very wondrous couple, and we get to take wonderful pictosnaps of them.  And that, my dear friends, is the best part of the job…and that’s the truth!  You know what, I’m going to put these words to bed.  Before we get to the awesome samplesnaps, I gotta give MuchLove & ManyThanks to this wonderful couple for giving us some of their valuable time, and to all my good people out there in the Land of Blog, keeping a watchful eye over the town that is currently sleeping – Enjoy!

Dig, if you will, my good friends of blog.  For I’m about to lay on you some totally awesome sample pictosnaps.  So what I’m asking you to do is to strap yourselves in, sit back, and get ready to let the good times roll.  Because you’re about to have your visual world rocked.
