Oh Mandi…why do you gotta be so awesome?!  I guess some questions are better left unanswered because an attempt to encapsulate into words something that is not meant to be put into mere words only serves to diminish something which should never be diminished.  And in my free time I write letters from boys in their late teens that take themselves too seriously.  But enough about my writing style.  Back to that matter at hand…and that’s Mandi!

We’ve known this young lady for a long time now and couldn’t have been any happier when she said she was choosing us for her seniorpics!  We were happy not just because we knew her, but because we knew that she was going to be totally awesome.  And when you’ve got totally awesome working with you it makes the day a whole lot better.  So basically a double-win for us.  Yaaaaaay o&j!!  But enough of all these silly words, we need to get to the part where we send Mandi MuchLove for being so awesome, and we tell all you peeps out there in Blogville to – Enjoy!

As long as we’re all about putting up lovely pictures of lovely seniors, I think that it’s time for us to take a look at some superawesome senior pictosnaps from the ever-lovely Sydney!  And you know what, I think that you think that this is a good idea too!  I know you’re probably sitting there thinking ‘get out of my mind, man’ – but I can read you.  And I know that you are up for having your day (or evening I guess depending on when you’re looking at this) brightened with this gem of a lady!  Like I said..I KNOW you.  Freaky.  Right?

Anyway, Sydney stopped by the Otis and the James and you know how this whole thing went.  We had the camera, she had the lovely, and the rest is pictographic history!  So now we need to take a little time and send MuchLove to Sydney for being so awesome to work with, and the rest of you good peeps out there in Blogville wondering how I can read your minds – Enjoy!

So the last time I tippytappytyped one of these blog posts up I mentioned my first experience seeing the band Phish.  So, as long as I’m at it I might as well keep going.  I’ve seen Phish play at the Kohl Center in Madison, Wisconsin.  FANTASTIC show.  And now it all makes sense to me.  Every Senior that we have ever worked with is just one degree away from a Phish show that I attended.  I SEE THE PATTERN NOW.

But, moving on from crazy talk, we had the wonderfully awesome pleasure of working with the one & only Madison (which is first & foremost a lovely name!) and I’m gonna let you in on a little secret – she was awesome.  But you knew that because YOUR SNEAKY EYES LOOKED AT THE SAMPLESNAPS ALREADY but I’ll forgive you because srizzlesslly come on they are awesome!  MuchLove to Madison for stopping by the o and the j and letting us take the seniorpics, and to all of you wonderful people out there in Blogland doing whatever it is that you do – Enjoy!

There’s this band called Phish.  And at the very first Phish concert that I went to at the Orpheum Theater in Minneapolis on November 26th, 1994, the band played this song called ‘Haley’s Comet.’  I had never head this song before and they opened the second set with it.  And after this song the band went into the most insane version of the song ‘David Bowie‘ that I have ever heard and probably will ever hear.  That Bowie was over 30 minutes long and by the end of it I wasn’t sure if I was even at a concert any longer, or on the planet Earth for that matter.  But the reason why ‘Haley’s Comet’ will always be special for me is that before the band went down a road of insanity there was this little gem of a song that just made me smile!

Which brings us to this Haley, and the fact that she is also a gem that makes us smile too!  There must be something about the name, I guess.  But you didn’t need any of these words or lessons in Phishstory to let you know that Haley was a complete gem to work with – all that you would have to do to find this out would be to look at the lovely samplesnaps below these words!

But wait!  Before you do that we need to give MuchLove to Haley for being so awesome and for letting us be just a small part of her senior year, and to all my other good peeps getting your groove on (fall tour baby!) – Enjoy!

What more can I say about the oh-so-lovely Chloe that isn’t summed up by the superawesome samplesnaps below?!  Not much, really.  So I’m not going to waste all sorts of time with words up here.  Instead I’m just going to send MuchLove to Chloe for being such a wonder to work with, and I’m going to remind all of you lovely peeps out there in Blogland to – Enjoy!

Let’s continue this afternoon siesta that we’re taking on a hot fall day with a visit from the lovely Jenna!  I’m going to break this one down real easy for you now.  Jenna needed some senior pics because…you know…she’s a senior.  So she decided to stop by the Otis and the James to have some seniorpictosnaps taken.  Because of being a senior and what-not.  And we, being the pictosnappers happened to have a studio and cameras and stuff, so it was kind of a match made in heaven, you know?!

Now I suppose you’re asking yourself, ‘self…how did these seniorpictosnaps turn out?’ – well, you can tell your self that they turned out just fine.  In fact, they turned out better than fine they were completely awesome – and that’s because Jenna was completely awesome to work with!  We just happened to have studio/cameras/stuff.  Not really sure what this ‘stuff’ is that I keep mentioning but I’m sure we’ve got it in a box in the basement somewhere.  But enough about that.

We need to send MuchLove to Jenna for letting us be a small part of her senior year, and to all of my Little Friends of Blog (LFOB’s) – Enjoy!

Alright just put down everything that you have going on right now because it’s time for an afternoon break because doggone it you deserve it, right?  Right!  So sit back in your whatever it is that you’re sitting on (comfy chair/cardboard box/don’t really make a difference as long as you’re taking a load off) because I’m gonna spin you a yarn about a time that wasn’t all that long ago when a lovely lady by the name of Kaitlyn stopped by the O to the J to have her seniorpictosnaps taken, and I’m here to reassure you – my good people of blog – that Kaitlyn was totally awesome to work with!

Alas, as I’ve said many times before, you can hardly call this work when the people that we work with are so wonderful!  As usual our time was all too fleeting (I guess it would be kind of weird if we kept our seniors here forever plus there might be some laws that we would be breaking too) so it’s just best that we savor the memories of picture taking time through the samplesnaps below!  But wait!  Before you go off and check out the goods we gotta give MuchLove to Kaitlyn for being so awesome, and to the rest of you peeps enjoying a late September day when it is 90º+ out right now – Enjoy!

Amirite or what?  The title.  It says it all!  Jasmine is absolutely lovely and we wish that every day could be a Jasmine day at the Otis & James Pictography Studio (originally our name but we decided that it was too wordy…it was either that or ‘Precious Sweet Loving Tender Moments Photography.’  I kid.  But if you happen to be an up and coming new photographer and are trying to think of a name for your business you can have that name.  No charge.  It’s all yours.  Your welcome.) but alas every day isn’t Jasmine day at the o&j (that rhymed) – but that’s ok.

And the reason that it’s OK is that we had our moment of seniorawesomeness already and that’s enough because we don’t want to be greedy and we want everyone else out there in this big ol’ world of ours to be able to experience Jasmine!  We’re not greedy, yo.  So we’re just going to give MuchLove to Jasmine for letting us be a small part of her world during her senior year, and to all my happy peeps out there in Blogworld being the awesome peeps that you are – Enjoy!

 

You see, there is time – the kind of time that we use to measure the way the Earth revolves around the sun and rotation of said Earth and how this affects our day and movements and activities and how it allows us to perceive length in relation to our existence, and then there is Alyssa Time!

Alyssa time requires much less theoretical thinking and makes my brain hurt a lot less.  Alyssa time is filled to the brim with happiness and goodness as is evidenced by the oh-so-happy pictures below these words.  And Alyssa time for the o&j was all to quick as she stopped in to have her superseniorpictosnaps taken.

But the thing about time is that we have this ability to capture moments of it via our magic camera machine – so we’ll always have the visual memories of that moment when we shared some time together!  I think my mind is going to explode now.  So, before that happens we need to give Alyssa MuchLove for stopping by and letting us share some of her…time?  And to all you other good peeps out there in Blogville just wastin’ time – Enjoy!
