More Friday Family Fun!

We have been working with this lovely family for many a long time now. They have known us from our very humble beginning, and have stuck with us through it all. This lovely group of people were some of the first clients to make us feel like we may just have a chance at this crazy photography thing after all! Suddenly, I like short sentences!

So, it was with great pleasure that we welcomed them back to the studio again, for some quick pics before going up to the lake. I think that Connor was more interested in the lake part, but he still managed to pull out some sweet poses in order to appease the ‘rents! As for Justin & Michelle – they are pros, they always bring their A game to the studio. Dang. Pure & Simple. Dang.

Alright, let’s dispense with all of these words and get to the part that you’re all really here for, the snaps – Enjoy!

Freaky Friday Family Fun!

Let’s look at the different variations of that title:

Fun Family Friday Freaky!
Family Fun Freaky Friday!
Friday Fun Freaky Family!
Freaky Fun Friday Family!

The English language, it’s amazing! You see, by just rearranging these simple words, you can take a relatively benign title, and create one that is scandalous! It’s like magic!

Alright, with that lesson behind us, it’s time to get down to brass tacks. I’m not sure what that means, but I’m here to tell all ya’ all that we were visited by a lovely family this past Friday morn’ (some members of which you may or may not have seen before…see if you can figure them out superbloggersleuths!), and we got some goods to show you.

Blake & Danae!

Keeping up with the adventures, life and times of a studio called Fun (but you can call it the FunCenter…is that starting to sound creepy? Like one of those places as a child you would be taken to that might have some great name, but in reality it was lame-oh…like, you would go to Chuck E. Cheese, but some of the animatronic animals might be broken, and you’ve been waiting and waiting to see the sweet Chuck E. Cheese animatronic show, because it’s your birthday and you’ve been waiting all year for this moment, and when the time finally gets there, you realize that what you had built it up to be in your head is far better than the reality of it all…is the FunCenter becoming that??) I’m going to continue that parenthetic thought out into the regular body of this post and answer with a resounding NO! And I know this to be true, as our super-awesome session with the absolutely wonderful Blake & Danae confirmes with great certainty that the FunCenter indeed lives up to its name, because our time with this super-couple (again, I make no claims of certainty to their super-powers, or lack thereof) was indeed, nothing but fun! NOTHING BUT FUN!!!

Now, let me throw some love toward Blake & Danae for taking time to visit us on this fine evening, and for all of you our there in Blogland, you will know the love I have for you with this one word – Enjoy!

Rise & Shine With Dana!

The end of the ol’ Monday-Friday workweek (not that we actually adhere to these archaic conventions, as we are currently in the development stages of figuring out a system for us to eliminate sleep from our schedule, that we we could fit a couple more appointments into the calendar…sanity…who really needs it?) got off to a great start with a visit from the vivacious (alright, let’s go to the dictionary for those of you that aren’t sure that this is the word that we’re in search of:

vivacious |vÉ™ËˆvÄ sh É™s; vÄ«-| adjective (esp. of a woman) attractively lively and animated.

I think it will work…in fact…I know it will work), the one, the only Dana! Our mission: some SuperSweetSeniorSnaps! I know you’re sitting there, wondering if we were able to complete the mission. You’re wondering what sort of hijinks and pratfalls awaited us as we embarked upon this dangerously exciting mission, but there’s no need to wonder, my friends, because (and I’m pretty sure that the comma well that I oh so love to dip into is about dry after this sentence) I’m here to report that we had an absolutely wonderful time (actually, it was more Jamie, but I think of us as being more one Ã¼ber-person instead of two), and that the goods that were gotten were all good goods…or…you know what I’m trying to say – she rocked it up, and I think that it’s time for us to go to the time that we look at the sweetly-sweet snaps – Enjoy!

Amber…Master of the Drum & Queen of the Woods!

Where do I even begin with this post??? There are so many things that come to mind, so I’m just gonna give you some bullet points.

Amber = Friendly/Mellow/Awesome.
The big cool drum was just that; big & kool.
Her assistant (the lovely Cassie) was totally awesome as well.
She was Queen of the Woods.
She could have caught a bunny and made it her pet, but she opted not to.
She kept her cool during the whole ‘people might be shooting at us’ incident.
Her snaps were…well…as awesome as awesome can be.

Alright, there will be a quiz on this next week. But, before that, I suggest that we take some time now to look at the awesomeness that I am talking about. Again, much thanks to Amber and her lovely assistant for being so wonderful to work with – you guys rock, 1000%. But enough of all these words, let’s see some snaps – Enjoy!

Can You Handle One From Adam?

Well, I don’t care if you can or if you can’t, because I’m gonna hit you over the head with more than just one from Adam. You see, if you find yourself in a situation much as I have found myself in one, where you got these snaps that have to go up on the blog, and you would just like to go home and tuck yourself into the O&J Sleep Station, but you got these snaps just burnin’ a hole in your pocket, and you gotta do something with them because they are burnin’ burnin’ hot, and you can’t keep them all bottled up, you gotta get them to the masses, you can’t keep your peeps in the field waiting like this, you gotta get them out, then you might just have to do what it is that I’m about to do and hit you with some snaps, with no regard to what you can handle or not handle, because these snaps are just that good and it’s time that you either buck up and see just what it is that you can handle, to see how far it is you can let your mind go into the world of snaps and just scream from the bottom of your soul with all your might, even though you might not know it to be true, ‘GIVE IT TO ME STRAIGHT, I CAN TAKE IT!’

You got that?

Good.

Our Tuesday past came to a wonderful conclusion, and this was made possible with a visit from yet another of the Totally Rocking Ladies of Glenburn (of which, we have had the good pleasure of working with so many of them…they have all been a dream…Glenburn, where the women are rocking – that might be their town motto, or it might not, you can go find out, I gots stuff to do)!

As is par for these ladies, Leah was a blast to work with friendly, great smile, and all around class act! We had a great time working with her, and our time was all to short (but sweet!) We would like to thank her for helping us bring the day to an end in such a great way, and we would now like to stop all of this mumbling on and get to the snaps – Enjoy!

T. Straight Up.

Why waste a bunch of your time with all sorts of crazy words. We’ve all done that trip before, you have to wade through all sorts of my gibberish, just so you can get to the sweet sample snaps, your patience eventually being rewarded, but often times a feeling of ‘Is the mad writing really worth it?’ creeping across your mind.

So, I’m not going to do all that with this one. I’m not going to go on and on about how totally awesome T (you can call him Travis, if so desired) was during our shoot. I’m not going to brag about how when it came time to deliver the goods, T did so like a total and complete rock star. I’m not even going to say anything about how sweet the snappy snaps look.

Oh no, this one is going to be different. It’s going to be a short and sweeet post, skipping all of that hoo-ha in favor of something much more clean, much simpler. So, I ask you now, are you ready for it?

Here goes.

The Sweet & Mellow Sounds of Becky, Master of the Studio and Beyond!

The title of this post may actually sum it all up, as our SuperSeniorMonday came to an absolutely wonderful conclusion with a visit from new friend to Otis & James, the totally easy-going mellow gold one and only Becky! In keeping with the tradition of the day, she was down for some SweetSweetSenior Snaps!

Becky, along with her equally as lovely assistant (Ma) were a dream to work with, and they made our time together one that was filled with good times and ease for all. I’m just going to say it loud and say it proud, we got some really really real good snaps during our time together, but alas, it was not us that did the hard work, it was all Becky – without her, we’re nothing. Don’t tell anybody our secret.

Well, looking at the O&J time meter (clock), I see that I have rambled on for far too long now, and I really must be going. So, big thanks to Becky (and assistant), and to the rest of you all out there – Enjoy!

Ashley!

Our Monday continued on, as we welcomed the one and only Ashley (again, I know that there are many Ashley’s out there, but she’s the only one that mattered to us at this juncture of our existences…no disrespect to any other Ashley out there, for I know of at least one that will soon be the center of our universe, but let’s get back to the Ashley at hand) to the FunCenterforFunstyleSnaps, and she didn’t just stop by to give us some V8 and a tangerine, oh no…she came down for some dope style Senior Snaps!

Let me reassure you out there in Blogville (which is just east of Ruthville, if my NoDak Geography continues to serve me mind), dope style Senior Snaps was just what we got! I mean, seriously, how on earth could we do wrong with a person as lovely as Ashley is??!! If you want to know the truth, we actually didn’t even take the snaps. We just gave her the camera, and since she is so good, she did everything. All we did was sit in the car and marvel in her awesomenessiousness.

I could go on, and on, and on again, but I will spare you from this slow and painful way of spending a blog post. I will instead have you look below (or at least do so when you have stopped reading…which many of you may have already done) and bask in the glowing beauty of Ashley – Enjoy!
