The Family Hoffman

On a lovely Monday evening, our very own James had the great pleasure of speding a little quality time with the family Hoffman, as it was again time for the yearly Otis & James/Hoffman Family Adventure!

As usual, the family didn’t disappoint. They had spent the past year in a near monk-like existence, focusing their collective energies toward this moment. Their emotions have been fine tuned, their posing calibrated to be no be no more than 3mm off from their intended goals.

With their minds sharp, their bodies fit, they came to the shoot ready not to rock…no…this would be too easy. Instead, they came to compose glorious photographic music. Rest assured, my fellow blogerites, this they did. The snaps may look spontaneous, but they are the hard earned results from untold hours of laborious practice.

In fact, one of the children actually took the photographs, while being photographed. All James could do was stand and watch in awe as this unfolded before her. Now that’s, crazy.

With this in mind – Enjoy!

Meagan & ______! *UPDATE . IT’S REGAN!

OK, let’s just get to the point here Meagan. I didn’t write down the name of your significant other (whome we’ll call the SI from here on out), so this makes the part where I attach the title to your post a little difficult; hence the ______ has been posted, and if you would like, you could either e.mail us back with a name to fill the blank in with, our you could simply just take a Sharpie and write the name on your monitor in the space provided.

To be straight, in no way do we advise that you or anyone else out there attack their monitor with a Sharpie, I’m just throwing it out there as an idea. And of course, we bear no responsibility for any damage that may or may not occur if this method is attempted.

So, now that we have that difficult part over with, let’s get to the business at hand. This evening, we had the good pleasure of working with Meagan, and here SI for the purpose of some Graduation/Engagement type photographs!

Well, let me tell you this, Mission Accomplished. The two of you two did it with style and ease, and we would like to say thank you, congratulations, and – Enjoy!

Emily Gets By (With a Little Help From Her Friends)

This late afternoon was a happy time, as we were joined by new friends of O&J Emily, and her band of brothers (not that it was all men, as this was not the case, but I’m trying to type in a clever way, and am running out of cliches…so give me a little break here) stopped by the studio for some super awesome Friends/Couples Snappy Snaps!

They were all great to work with, which in turn made our work as easy as it gets – all we had to do was line them up and shoot, which sounds strangely like some sort of capital punishment, but rest assured my fellow children of the blog, we would never condone any violence like that in the Funcenter – becauase how much fun would that be?? Not much fun at all.

Well, moving on, we had a great time working with one and all, and would to wich Congrads to those doing that MSU graduation thing – Enjoy!

The Continuing Adventures of Carol…With Guest Star Brandon!

I’m pretty sure that I’ve pretty much said all that there needs to be said about this totally and completely rocking client that we’ve had the great priveledge of working with over this past year, that goes by the name of Carol, so I’m not even going to say anything about this shoot, other than these two rocked it up so totally and completely righteous style that there was a point at which I thought the sun was going to crack in half, and out from it would fly the sun-people, and they would come all the way back to earth, which it seems like that trip would take somewhere around the eight-minute mark if my memories of the speed of light and the earths distance from the sun didn’t get too burnt out (no pun intended) from things that occured during the golden-oldy-moldy 1990’s, and they would come all the way here to our little studio of fun just to see what it was that caused their sun-home to crack in half, and they would have the vision of these two etched into their sun filled eyes, and to etch the vision of someone into the eyes of something as bright as the sun people (and should I be capitalizing that term – ‘sun people’?) is pretty crazy, if you sit down and think about it.

And that’s how hard they rocked.

Makin’ Music With Allyn!

On Tuesday evening we opened up the doors to the SuperStudio and found a young lady that goes by the name of Allyn here and ready to show us just how it is that you take totally awesome photographs!

She, along with her lovely assistant (Mom) came here ready to rock, and I mean this literally, as they had a cache of instruments ready to play! We sang, took some sweet sweet snaps, and all around had a wonderful time working with this lovely young lady!

We would like to thank Allyn & her assistant for making time for us on this fine evening, and to say thanks, we thought we’d show you a couple of sample snaps – Enjoy!

Audrey!

This past Tuesday afternoon we had the good fortune of meeting up with the one & only Audrey! She, along with her entourage (Pa & Sis – do people still call their fathers Pa?) stopped by the SuperFunCenter for some, as they name implies, Super Fun Snaps!

After shedding a couple of tears, we got down to business. Audrey rode her bike like good ol’ Lance Armstrong, and while Otis acted like some sort of a Monkey in order to get a cheap laugh – good ol’ Otis, always the one with the lampshade on the head.

Well, seeing as how I am refering to myself in the third person, I think that it’s time that we moved on to the snappy snaps – Enjoy!

The Marquis Edition!

Sometimes you just gotta accept the fact that it’s not us that make the photosnaps rock, it is those in front of the camera that allow the rocking to occur. We learned this lesson again this past Monday, as we were visited by a young man by the name of Marquis!

He, along with his entourage (Mom & Dad) came to the studio, and he completely owned the shoot. He had a full arsenal of poses at his disposal, and he used them all! We basically just had the camera take the photos every five seconds, and let Marquis do all the rest. That’s how good he was. Dang.

A big thanks to all for coming down to the studio for the shoot, and we would now like to go to the photographic proof of these past statements – Enjoy!

The Tracy Family Edition

Our voyage back in time continues, and this time we were visited by the Family Tracy – and guess what – they were here for some supersweetfamilysnaps (which is a mouthful of letters, but we’re trying to save on our space-bar usage.)

They came here ready to rock it up on the photog front, and I’m here to report that rocking did ensue, and there might have even been rocking and rolling from time to time. I’m not sure what that means, but what I’m trying to say is that they tore it up, mad/crazy style!

We had a great time working with this wonderful family, and we would like to give the big O&J thanks to the fam for taking time out for us on this lovely Saturday! Without any further delay, The Family Tracy – Enjoy!

Cole, Super-Athlete/Model Extraordinaire!

Our past Saturday afternoon kept on getting better, as we moved on to a visit from a young man by the name of Cole, and his entourage! We all gathered for some super-awesome Cole pics – and let me tell you one thing and this one thing only – Cole was an absolute rock star in the studio!

He worked the camera like a pro – easily going from formal pics, to super-action sports pics; and all without even batting an eye! We were lucky to work with this young man (and his entourage as well), and we would like to now take a look at some of these sweet, sweet snaps – Enjoy!

Heidi & Megan!

Our Saturday kept on keepin’ on, and next up was a visit from super-deluxe sisters, Heidi & Megan!

Even though good ol’ Otis & James looked like two deer caught in headlights when they walked down the Red Hallway of Anticipation (RHOA) and into the inner sanctum, we soon realized that we were in store for a great shoot – as these two were sweety-sweets to work with! Sweety sweets are sometimes known as double-sweets, but either way it’s sweet to the power of two, with a few more just added for good measure!

Again, they were awesome, and we gots ourselves some pretty sweet snaps. But really, don’t take my word for it, look at the pics – Enjoy!
