And of course, what would follow the two previous posts other than the combination of this awesome duo, like Sonny & Cher, except they’re sisters, but I’m pretty sure they can sing – Enjoy!

Defunct, But Still Delightful
And of course, what would follow the two previous posts other than the combination of this awesome duo, like Sonny & Cher, except they’re sisters, but I’m pretty sure they can sing – Enjoy!

Up next in this photographic duo from yesterday was none other than the one, the only, she that is totally sweetly sweet – Lacie!!
In continuing the tradition of her sister, Lacie quickly established herself as a force to be reckoned with in the studio. She didn’t follow in the steps of those before here, she blazed new paths. We were lucky enough to follow her through this uncharted terrain. Even though this description sounds ‘safari-esque’, and it even has me slightly perplexed, let me break it down hammerstyle for you – she rocked. Straight up. Is the MC Hammer still popular?
We would like to extend great thanks to Lacie for taking some time for us this afternoon, and we would now like to serve up some sample snaps from the festivities – Enjoy!

Yesterday afternoon we at the Otis & James Center for Unemployed Drummers (OJCUD) welcomed new friends to the O&J family the lovely Lindsey & her lovely sister Lacie! The cause was none other than some super-fantastic Senior Portraits!
Seniors, Don’t ya just love ’em??!! Moving on from that cheesy ‘Pepperidge Farm‘ sentiment (you know, the commercials that have that guy with the creepy east coast/old man thing going on) – I digress – we actually do love our Seniors, as they have all been totally treat-ful to work with over the past year, and today proved to be no different!
We started off with Lindsey, and she was completely awesome as she totally tore it up throughout the shoot. We laughed, we were serious, there was no crying – but had we asked I’m sure she would have obliged if it would have made a better photograph.
We want to thank Lindsey for taking time for us, and would now like to offer up some pics from the day – Enjoy!

Our day of a million shoots (actually, it wasn’t a million – I’m not going to get all ‘Million Little Pieces‘ on you and continue my falsifications, as I’m afraid of the Oprah – and as long as we’re truthing it up…my name isn’t Otis…and I’m really a cook/diswasher/barfly…and I’m a long way from 4601 28th Ave SW, MPLS…and I have no idea what I’m doing here.)
Uh……moving on, our day continued with a visit from Old Friends (and I have no idea why I capitalized that, and I’m sure that I’m going to get a telephone call from James as she loves to be the first one that points our any sort of grammar errors that occur – not that I’m bitter about this) Andy & Charity!!
Working with these two is like this equation: w(crazy fun) – w = crazy fun.
w= work
ed.
It has been pointed out to me that this equation is hogwash. According to Andrew from Minot, the actual equation should be:
(W(Crazy Fun))/W=Crazy Fun or (1/w)(w(Crazy Fun)=Crazy Fun
Well played, Andrew. Well played.
You see, working with these two is not work, it is just crazy fun! You see, not only am I really a cook, I’m also really not what you could call a ‘math genius’, or for that matter, I’m not even a ‘understander of math.’ These shortcomings aside, we had a great time with these old friends, and as usual, they were totally and completely awesome!
We want to thank this super-duo for helping us close out our day in such a great way – and for the rest of you out there in blog world, good night and – Enjoy!

Our Saturday continued with a visit from the absolutely lovely Samantha, for some super sweet Senior Portraits! She came down to the O&J Center for Photographic Things ready to rock, and rock she did!
She was totally put together – she could be a fashion stylist with the skills that she displayed during our time together. She was accesorized, energized, and any other number of words that end with ‘ized’ none of which come to mind right now other than spiritualized, but I’m not quite sure that the image of a spiritualized senior is what I’m trying to convey right now, but getting back to the topic at hand, she was completely wonderful to work with – and it show in her pics.
A big thank you for Samantha and her entourage for taking the time to visit us this afternoon! So, off with all this crazy writing, and on with the pics – Enjoy!

Our Saturday continued with a visit from a totally awesome young man by the name of Benjamin, accompanied by special guests Grandman & Grandpa!
Sometimes there are a few tears and screams when the children come to the O&J Funcenter (and with a name like the Funcenter, this seems strange), mostly the children are scared of Jamie. She’s scarrey (the spelling of that word, or rather the misspelling goes out to a paper core/pencil holder at RPL DS – keep up the fine work, paper core.)
Alright, back to the post – well, there was not an ounce of trepidition from this totally awesome young man. In fact, he was totally and completely awesome to work with, as were his entourage! We want to thank this lovely group for coming down and for brightening up the studio, and would now like to show some sample snaps from the day – Enjoy!

That title sounds like it should be a radio show – sort of like a sports roundup sort of thing. You know, where there are highlights of the past week, and it’s all dissected by the hosts. Well, it was far from that. Instead, we (or actually just the Otis part) had the great pleasure of meeting soon to be Bride & Groom, Matt & Natasha for the first time this past Saturday!
After kind of a rocky start (all on the part of ol’ Otis), we got things turned around and this awesome couple turned on the charm for some sweet sweet engagement photographs! It was a pleasure to work with this charming couple, and we can’t wait until June for the big event. We thank them for taking the time to come down to the super-studio, and hope that Matt was able to make it through the day of wedding preparations in one piece. For the rest of you, thanks for tuning in, and – Enjoy!

We closed out our Friday with a visit from the Family Bailey, for some good ol’ fashioned Family Portraits!
I will tell you the straight story – this was not a group that was new to the whole ‘photo studio- thing. Oh no, they were pros. They had been witness to many a photographer before, and it totally showed. The self-posing family is every photographer’s dream, and we were lucky enough to have them take time to visit us this fine evening, and give us this gift.
We truly had a great time with this great looking bunch, and thank them for taking time to visit us here at the O&J Funcenter. Well, enough of all this jibba jabba, let’s move on to some highlights from the shoot – Enjoy!

We knew (or at least I did) that this shoot would be good! This past Friday, we had the great pleasure of welcoming Matt to the O&J Fortress of Good Times for some Senior Snaps.
Having already worked with the sister of this young man (more man than young), we also knew that he was going to be great to work with, and indeed he was. He brought out his A game, and we all let the good times roll! We had a great time working with Matt, and wish him all the best in all his future endeavors – and for the rest of you out there in blog world – Enjoy!

It was with great joy that we yesterday evening that the O&J Superphotocenter welcomed long time friend of O&J Becca and her wonderful fiancee Luke to our little world! The reason, engagement photographs!!
It just seems like yesterday that our little Becca was still in high school…oh how time keeps on tickin’. You see, in our former pre-O&J lives (we haven’t always been the crime-fighting super-heroes that we are now), we had the great pleasure of working with Becca in the ol’ photo lab (shout out to all our past & present RPL peeps – HOLLA!!) Much has changed since those days, but one thing that hasn’t is Becca’s warm & friendly personality – and it would seem that she has found a man by the name of Luke that shares these same traits with her!
It was great to meet Luke, and it was totally awesome to be taking their engagement photo’s! We want to thank this wonderful couple for coming down to the studio and paying us a visit, and we would now like to offer up some snaps from our time together – Enjoy!
