The Ladies Harmon!

We could think of no better way to start our Saturday than with a visit from these lovely ladies! They were a dream to work with, and our time together was great! Now, to all of you out there in blog-land, these photographs are going to be a surprise for Dad’s Birthday – so if you happen to recognize any of these lovely ladies, don’t go blabbin’ to Dad that you saw their pics up on the site!! Mums the word!

I think I can trust all of you, so as a reward for keeping this between us, let’s look at some samples from the day – Enjoy!

Darrin & Virginia…Flying Through The Air With Skill and Ease.

This past Friday, our day came to a splendid close as the O&J Center for the Rythmically Inclined was paid a visit from our old friend Virginia – and she brought along her special friend Darrin for some super-sweet-totally-rockin Valentine Portraits (even though the date has passed, the special runs all month – ‘The love lasts all month!’)! Seriously, I just make up punctuation rules as I see fit. I’m a trail blazer like that.

Moving on, we knew from our previous work with Virginia that she was a total photo rocker, but we found out that these photo rocking skills also carried over to significant others! Let me break that down for you – they both rocked! You know, it’s not just enough to talk about all these things and what not, let’s instead activate our eyeballs and move them a little lower to see some of the goods – Enjoy!

February Michael!

Next up on our dance card yesterday was a visit from new friend to Otis & James, Michael (he has the great fortune of not just being Michael, but February Michael!) The reason for his visit was to get some super-deluxe Senior Portraits, and get some super-deluxe Senior Portraits he did!

Michael brought in some impressive weaponry (not to mention some impressive results from this weaponry), and we got some cool, cool snaps. We want to thank Michael for taking time to come down here today, and want to thank his group of assistants for helping us out as well – especially for the emergency dress shirt/tie delivery! Well, enough of my rambling, let’s move on to some pics – Enjoy!

Brandi!

Yesterday morning our Otis & James Super Studio for the Photogenically Inclined was brightened up by the presence of our new friend (and highly photogenic) Brandi (and her lovely assistant, Mom!)

Brandi was totally awesome! She may have wanted to be taking the pictures instead, but me thinks the true talent lies in front of the lens – as she worked the camera like a rock star, pulling out poses with reckless abandon in a way thad made our work a dream, and we thank her for this.

Both Brandi and her lovely assistant couldn’t have been any easier to work with (thank you again!), and proof of this lies just a few more keystrokes away – Enjoy!

Scott & Linnzi

This past Sunday (I know I’m going out of order as far as the chronology of the posts go, but that’s how crazy I am…crazy) Otis & James Central took a break from its mini-vac (for those of you that don’t know what that means, you’ll have to look down a couple of posts to figure this slang out) for the occasion of taking some super-fantastic Sunday afternoon portraits of Scott & Linnzi (with a couple of special guests!)

This special Sunday was made all the better by the fact that the James part of the business wasn’t here…uh…that doesn’t sound that great – but the reason why it was all the better was that the part of James this day was being played by Otis, and playing Otis was Super-Britt! For those of you not familiar with all this role playing, let me break it down. James was somewhere on the East Coast – perhaps in an undisclosed location, and Otis was actually operating a camera (which for those of you that were wondering, he still knows how to do) and Super-Britt was doing what Otis normaly does – which is talks a lot and fiddles with the music while James does all the work.

OK, back to this lovely couple – they were awesome to work with! It was nice to see everyone all dolled up (especially you, Scott) and it was good to get Scott out from the front part of the building and in to the back part – because that’s where the action is!

We want to thank this lovely couple, and their super-awesome special guests (I’m talking to you, Leah & Autumn), for coming down and having fun with us on this Sunday afternoon. Well, I may have lost the majority of you at the second paragraph, but for those of you still reading – Enjoy!

JJ (Ma & Pa Too)!!

We concluded our day of beautiful babies with a visit from our new friend JJ – and he brought with him Mom & Dad as well. All I gotta say is that this boy has a smile that could bring the world to its knees – I’m not sure what that means, but believe me when I say that if the dial that turned up charm went to 10, he turned it up to 11 and then one beyond that – 12.

And…as long as we were all here taking pics, we thought ‘what a grand idea it would be to take a couple of Mom & Dad’, or as they were known in the time before JJ – John & Sara. We immediately were able to see where JJ got the camera mojo from as soon as we started snappin’ up on these two. They rocked, straight up.

Well, I think that this post has gone far enough, and we should take a little time to look at some of the goods from the evening – Enjoy!

Khai!

Yesterday afternoon we had the great honor of meeting an awesome young man by the name of Khai!  Not only did we meet him, but we got to meet him on his 1st Birthday!!  Khai came down to the studio with a couple of assistants (Mom & Grandma), and after giving us the old ‘once-over’, he got down to business.

Khai pulled out all the stops – from his Packers hat, to his Spidey-Man outfit (and chair), not to mention his super-deluxe truck that was 100 times better than any sort of truck that I had as a kid – he rocked it all up!

We want to thank Khai and his entourage for taking time out from his birthday festivities to pay us a visit, and we would now like to offer up some pics from the day – Enjoy!

We’re Back!

Relax, my fellow bloggers, we have returned from our little mini-vac (that’s short-hand lingo for ‘miniature vacation’ for all you squares out there) and we’re ready to rock harder and longer than we ever have before. We’re gonna have some fun new times coming up here on the old blog, but for now press the play button below and be content.

Peace Out My Homeslices.

The Family Warner…Featuring Beckett!!

Yesterday evening we had a grand time here in the O&J Funhouse as we were paid a visit from the Family Warner, and there super-awesome son, Beckett!!

They came into the the studio as a photographic force to be reckoned with, as they were in complete control of the shoot – they owned it!  Working the camera in ways that we have never seen before, and probably will never see again, unless they decide to come back for the big 2nd Birthday pics!

We can only hope so, for this family was completely awesome to work with, and the proof from the festivities will only go to back this statement up – Enjoy!

Desert Ice @ Otis & James!

We concluded our day this past Saturday with a visit from the Desert Ice Dancers (which if you look at the group pic below are Libby, Corinne, Aisha, Beth, Ashley and Alyssa)! This was indeed not an everyday Otis & James occurance, and the studio was rocking with a beat that was far more exotic than it’s usual 4/4 way.

One of the reasons for the photographs was because they wil be performing on Valentine’s Day (that’s February 14th for those of you that aren’t aware of this new-fangled holiday) at the Dakota Inn – which is located next to Homesteaders restaurant. According to information provided, there will be performances in the Turkish, Egyptian and American Styles of Middle Eastern Dance (aka Bellydance.)

We had a great time watching and working with this talented group, and we’re sure that anybody that attends this performance will have a great time! Well, enough of all this typing, let’s get on to the snaps – Enjoy!
