The One & Only Brooke!

I’m sure that there are actuallly many more than just one person out there called Brooke, but this past Tuesday there was only one that mattered to us (no offense to all the others out there), and that was the Brooke that came down to the O&J Center For Trinket Research (O&JCFTR) for some awesomeliscious snappy-snaps taken!

She, along with her entourage (the always lovely Ma & Aunt) came down here ready to rock, and believe me, my fellow friends of blog, they rocked like Bon Jovi in ’87 – yeah, I know it, that’s craaaaazy rocking.

Much thanks to all for taking time and paying us a visit on this lovely day – we had a wonderful time with one and all, and we would not like to offer up some sample snaps from the festivities – Enjoy!

¡Craig & Jessica!

I thought that I would put the upside down exclamation point at the start of the post title in order to add a little bit of flair to what sometimes could be considered to be variations on the exact same title over and over again. So this is how that little bit of punctuation has come to be. I’m not sure that it’s adding that much spice, but it’s a start.

Moving on, as the this spicy title suggests, this past Monday (and I’m talkin’ ’bout a week ago for those of you keeping track at home, with your ‘home edition’ of Blogging with Otis & James) we concluded our day with a visit from our new friends, Craig & Jessical for some superduperstyle Engagement Photo-Graphs!

Let me tell you, the photo-graphing was awesome, one and all had a great time (there was one member of this duo in particular that normally isn’t into the whole ‘portrait session’ thang – even they had a good time!) But really, how long does all of this blabbering have to go on for – let’s get to the snaps – Enjoy!

The Family Undlin!

This past Monday (Holy Cow, where does the time go???) the FunCenter for the Advancement of All Things Fun (FCFTAOATF) opened up the doors and let in the SuperFantabulousticuly Wonderful Family Undlin, for some good ol’ fashioned Undlin Family Pictures (portraits always makes me think of something really stuffy, and involving a wicker chair with one of those high and rounded backs…if you know what I’m tallin’ ’bout)!

They came down ready to show this town just how it is that family snaps are taken. I can say, without doubt, that they accomplished their goals, and did it up right. We now devote this sentence to sending out a big ol’ thank you to the fam for coming down and spedning a little quality time with us, and we now would like to take a look at some sample snaps – Enjoy!

Jeremy & Roxy

I really wanted to have the title of this post be ‘Jeranimal & Roxymama – Yee Ha!, but I didn’t know if that would keep in line with my philosophy of keeping the classiness level of the site just slightly above that of a sixth grade mentality.

Instead, I have chosen the subtle and classey ‘Jeremy & Roxy’, and seeing as how this title is also the same as their names, how doubly delightful! Alliteration aside, this past Saturday we had the great honor of not only getting to photograph their day, but our very own James had double duty and was actually in the wedding!! Craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazy!

What else can I say about this truly wonderful couple that hasn’t already been said. Classy, witty, good disposition, all around class act. Love ’em. Luuuuuuuuurrrrrve ’em! We had a great time with everyone invoved in this fatabulistacular day, and we wish them all the best in life, especially lots of money. A’ight, let’s get to the snaps – Enjoy!

Scott & Linnzi

This past Friday, the O&J FunCenter had the good good great pleasure of attending the wedding of our old friends, Scott & Linnzi! As luck would have it, we also had all of our cameras/camera related gear with us, and it seemed like this could be the ideal time for us to take some sweet sweet wedding photographs!

It was a beautiful day, and we had an absolutely wonderful time working with this lovely couple and their wedding party (even though Jamie did use some pretty risqué words up on the altar!) We see Scott just about every day of the week (he works in the same building as our studio), but it was great to see him rockin’ out the world of clean-shaven, tuxedo-wearing dudes. And, of course, Linnzi was gorgeous as well! Rock on, my friends, rock on.

OK, let’s dispense with all of this jibba jabba and get to the goods, but not before giving a big congratulations and thank you to Scott & Linnzi – Enjoy

Downtown Strollin’, With Kelly!

This past Wednesday, the FunCenter fired up it’s photographic furnaces (most people don’t know this, but our cameras are powered by two gigantic furnaces…crazy, huh?) and welcomed the gracious and lovely Kelly to the FC (that’s short for FunCenter – remember, abbrev’s!) for some absolutely wondertacular Super Summer Senior Snaps (SSSS – abbrev’s & acron’s, y’all)!

Our time together was sweet, and we rocked it up hardcore! I don’t know what that even means, but let me translate – Kelly was great to work with, and the sample snaps will, indeed, bear witness to this statement. Again, enough with all of this stream of consciousness rambling that may be a desperate cry for attention, and let’s get on with the show – Enjoy!

Early In The Morning, and I Ain’t Got Nothin’ But Sean & Elise!

The extent of my writing on this post will end with the title, as due to the early morning nature of this shoot, I was not able to attend this shoot (remember, I love the nightlife, and the only way I would have been able to see the sunrise would be if I had stayed up all night – but I’m trying not to do that much as it makes fucntioning in normal society more or less not really all that possible, and the part of society that I do function in at this time of night/morning is not one which I really want to spend all that much time at.) To find out more about the title, one could look to the recorded catalog of Mr. Buddy Guy, if one was so inclined. Well, I think it’s time that Jamie took over, seeing as how she was there, and I wasn’t.

Jamie…you ready?? Alright, she’s agreed that if I type it, she’ll say it. Here goes:

I like Sean & Elise.

Alright, and that’s why she doesn’t do the blog thing. Well, I like them too, and if their wedding doesn’t happen at sunrise, I will be sure to see them there!

Much Love!
One Love!
Jah!

Joe & Cheri…At Last!

After much gnashing of teeth and failed attempts, the Otis & James Caravan of Love pulled into the Bismarck Station (kind of sound like the Love Train) for some totally awesomely righteous Engagement Pics for Joe & Cheri…and we even got them done before their wedding!! We’re rocking now!

We had an absolutely beautiful evening, as we went to our Capitol (do I capitalize that?..capital Capitol!! Yay!) and took some geeeeeeeeeeeeeeorgeous snaps! It was a true pleasure working with (and finally meeting) this lovely couple, and we thank them for their patience – I do believe that it worked out for the best! Oh, and thanks for running through the sprinklers! Without any further delay, we present Joe & Cheri – Enjoy!

Mandy!

Up next on our Super Sumer Senior Tour was a totally rocking show with new friend of Otis & James, the lovely and talented Mandy, as she and her assistant (Mom) stopped down to the FunCenter for some sweetly sweet Senior Snaps!

Sometimes it’s hard to put just how awesome our time is with our Seniors, and Mandy is no exception. This struggle for words usually causes one to seek wisdom from the great poet known as Jon Bon Jovi, as he usually says it best. We can gain this bit of wisdom from him, as he says that we are cowboys, on the steel horse we ride. I think that this nugget of truth best sums up just how totally rocking Mandy was during our time together!

We had a great time working with Mandy & assistant, and we thank them for taking time from the summer to visit us! Well, I have kept you all long enough, and me thinks it is time to move on to the part you’re waiting for, the snappy-snaps – Enjoy!

Monarch, Princess of the Studio!

The title ‘Princess of the Studio’ had previously been held by our old friend, McKinzy, and before that by me, but it was time for the title to be passed down – and it was with great joy that none other than the absolutely gorgeous Monarch would be the one to carry the torch!

This past Monday morning, she came down to our studio and showed us the true meaning of being a Pricess of the Studio – and she did it with style, grace, and a respectable amount of panache! You mix all of these together, and you get yourself a big ol’ mess of wonderful – and that’s exactly what we have now!

I would like to thank Monarch & her entourage (Mom & Kinzy) for coming down to the FunCenter for these super-snaps, and we would now like to offer up some sample snaps from the morn – Enjoy!
