Joshua & Jennifer

Soooo, this past Monday…and I said Monday…you heard me right…the Otis & James Caravan of Love pulled back into the Minot Station, for a visit to the beautiful Gol Stave, right here in the middle of good ol’ Minot, in order to be a part of the wedding of the equally as lovely Joshua & Jennifer!

It was an absolutely gorgeous day for a wedding; a perfect summer day, and I do believe that we did get ourselves some lovely photo-graphs of this wonderful couple and their double-wonderful wedding party!

We would like to congratulate this newly-wed couple, and also say thank you for including us as a part of your day! Seriously, though, have you come here to hear me wax nostalgic for the days gone by, or to see some snappy-snaps?? So – Enjoy!

Tom & Jenna

This past Saturday, the Otis & James Caravan of Love & Stuff pulled up to the great city of Billings, Montana for some super-duper-deluxomatic wedding photographs of Tom & Jenna! This was our first wedding so far West, but we were with old, old friends of Otis & James, and it seemed like home sweet Minot (but a little more West, which is probably common sense to most of you out there, but if not, click here for driving directions.)

Now that you know how to get there, let’s save you the physical trip, and let us instead go on a mental trip, through some super sweet wedding photo-graph samples of this awesome day! But before that, we just want to say how much fun we had, and how totally awesome this lovely couple and their families and wedding party were to work with – but we already knew that it was going to be awesome, as the lovely Jenna and our very own Jamie have been friends for many long years (we even got to see a pic of a much younger and more of a mullet wearing Jamie during the reception slide show – who knew…mullet.)

Alright, enough of all my jabbering on and on about much of nothing at all, and let us instead turn our eyes a little lower, and take a look at some of the awesomosity that occured on this lovely day! Congratulations to the happy couple, and to everyone else out there – Enjoy!

Greetings…From Billings, MT!

Howdy there!

Just thought we’d drop a line, and show you a couple of snaps from our time in Billings! It’s my first time this far west (I can hear the mountains calling…calling), and the first time that Jamie has stood so close to the edge of a big cliff (I assured her that if she fell, at least the end would be picturesque.)

Well, that’s about it. We’ll drop you a line again real soon now.

RaeAnne!

On Wednesday, the doors of the FunCenter (does this opening sound familiar, have we all done this before, are we stuck in some sort of a loop???) opened up and we welcomed the lovely RaeAnne to the studio for some sweetsweetseniorsnaps!!

She, along with her lovely assistant (Ma), were absolutely wonderful to work with! In fact, James enjoyed it so much she wanted to keep it all for herself and she kicked me off the shoot. Booted. Just like that. Well, I could then get back to the tasks that James likes me to do (i.e. taking out trash, vacuuming out her car, staying out of her way, not making direct eye contact with her…you know…it’s totally normal.)

They did just fine without me (as if that’s a suprise), and the results give credence to this statement. Word of the day, credence. Look it up. Or I’ll do it for you.

credence |ˈkrÄ“dns| noun 1 belief in or acceptance of something as true : psychoanalysis finds little credence among laymen. • the likelihood of something being true; plausibility : being called upon by the media as an expert lends credence to one’s opinions. 2 [usu. as adj. ] a small side table, shelf, or niche in a church for holding the elements of the Eucharist before they are consecrated : a credence table.

With this knowledge in mind, (and in case you didn’t figure it out, I’m not talking about the side table/Eucharist definition) me thinks it time to move onward, to a place in which more picture viewing and less words are good. Much thanks to RaeAnne, and to all of you out there in blogland – Enjoy!

Pre-Wedding Sneak-Peak (shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh)

Good friend of O&J, Tammy, is getting married this Friday – but I’ll tell you what; this past Thursday we did a little dress rehearsal down at the FunCenter for Fun! The results – fantastic!!

Now, if you all promise to pretend like you didn’t see any of these, and that if when you seen her on Saturday you will act totally suprised, I’ll let you see just a little bit….but you gotta promise that it will only be a sneak…like…hold your fingers over your eyes, and just open them a little teeny bit, and look down. Promise??? Alright, put your fingers up…get ready…now look down.

NOW STOP LOOKING!!! You gotta wait ’till Saturday to see the rest! Alright, now get back to work, and let’s pretend like nothing out of the ordinary happened at all.

A Slight Change…

The slider at the top of the page has gone away. God rest its soul. If you want to navigate back a page, you will find a link at the bottom of this windown (and every window thereafter) that says ‘Previous Entries’.

If you click this link…guess what…you will be taken to previous entries! Just like it used to be! Hooray!

The slider was nice, but there were problems with it (like not being able to keep your place as you navigated the site.) Experienced bloggerites probably know what I’m talking about, and for the novice, just go along and pretend like nothing ever happened.

Alright, back to your normal blogging.

Amanda!

Our Monday Morning got off to a righteous start with a visit from the totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally…uhh…I’m sorry about that…All work and no play makes Otis a dull boy…but where was I…mmm..ahh yes…the totally and completely rocking on all levels Amanda!

She didn’t just stop down here to hang out in the office for a while whilst the busy bees of Otis & James did whatever it is they do when they’re not taking pictures (mostly eating Pop-Tarts and braiding eachothers hair.) Ohhhhhh no, she came down for some totally righteous Senior Snaps (which is what they are going to be called next year, just so we can hear parents call us up and ask us how much an order of the ‘totally righteous Senior Snaps’ costs), and let me assure you, my fellow bloggers, totally righteous Senior Snaps was what it was that we gots, got it??!!

We had a great time as we ventured here and there, on the quest for the best (I am so like a poet that didn’t even know it, but filled to the brim with Velveeta.) Our time together was all to fleeting, but the results were fantastical! Big thanks to Amanda and her/our assistant for the shoot, ‘Super-Cousin’. At least I think that’s what her name is. It might start with an A. Whichever, I like ‘Super-Cousin’.

Alright…Ready then..Enjoy!

Sean & Chelsea

This past Saturday the Otis & James Caravan of Love (O&JCOL) went North, to a land called Bottineau, and a lake called Metigoshe. No, my friends, this was not just a visit to partake in the chaos that is a hot summer weekend on this lake. No, no. We had a greater goal; the wedding of Sean & Chelsea!

Right now, I could go on and on about how the day was beautiful, the location was gorgeous, and how the Bride & Groom are absolutely perfect! I could continue to tell y’all out there about how everyone was so gracious and friendly to work with, I could tell you about how the lovely couple didn’t even blink an eye when my fearless leader James told them to stand on top of a collection of red ants, or sit in a bug infested shady grove.

But I feel that spending time telling all of you out there about this would only delay what you’re all here for – to see some sweet sweet sample snaps from the big day! So, I will not delay any further – actually, I will, but just to say thank you to Sean & Chelsie for being so great to work with! Alright…Enjoy!

Kevin & Erica!

Our past Friday came to a thrilling conclusion, as we were visited by the totally awesome Kevin & Erica! Perhaps ‘thrilling conclusion’ is a little bit on the misleading side, as there were no car crashes, or shoot outs, or explosions, or kidnappings, or any mayhem for that matter. What there was, (wait for the segue…wait for it) however, well…there were lovely lovely (that’s two lovelies) engagement photographs, brought to us by this wonderful couple!

The shots just rolled off, one right after another, culmulating in a wonderful collection of super-fantastic engagement photo-graphs! They were absolutely wonderful to work with, and we can hardly wait until the main event, the big show, the…well…you get the point – their wedding!

Much thanks to these two for making time for us, and now I shall cease in this meandering collection of words that is attempting to be something, and I’m pretty sure that it is not, and, as I was saying, it is time for us to move on to some sample snaps – Enjoy!

Invasion!! By Nine Month Olds!! Yowza!!

Last Friday the FunCenter was invaded by a couple of super totally awesome cousins, that are almost the exact same age – nine months old!! These two fun-loving boys walked into the studio (with the help from their large entourage of Moms, Dads, Grandmas, etc.), for some supertacular cuzzzzzzins pics!

The shoot was fantabulous, and the results were equally as sweet! Much thanks to these two lovely young men for taking time out from there busy schedules for us, and a special shout out to the entourage for keeping them going (even when the going got rough!) But let us now forget all of these words, and move on to the goods – Enjoy!
