Andrew, Quite Simply…Andrew.

Is there simply a word that could describe our time with Andrew? Is there something that could be put in the midst of a sentence that could describe the experience that was our SuperSeniorSnapTime with this lovely young man? Isn’t this the question that writers have been asking for many, many years?

I don’t know if there is a way for us to just have a word that can describe our experience with Andrew. Magical? Fanatastical? Photographical? Transcendtal? Theoretical? Or perhaps, the experience was quite simply put…parfect!

Yes, that shall be the word that we use to describe this event. I keep describing his shoot as an ‘event’ and an ‘experience’…which makes it sound like some sort of a one day festival that came to Main Street on a Monday afternoon. With balloons, and hot dog stands, and clowns, and face painting, and a meat raffle, and carriage rides, and fireworks, and a pie eating contest. Well, there was none of this stuff (sadly), but that didn’t make a difference, because with our time with Andrew already being perfect, we didn’t need any of that extra stuff to muck it all up.

You can now take all of that information that I have given you, and put it into your head blender, and make of it what you will (it will probably look like a shake, but it won’t taste like one.) Without any further delay, I present to you the one and only…Andrew – Enjoy!

Levi!

How are you on a Monday morning? Do you jump out of bed, with the happy thoughts of a new week filling your head, as you run through your house spreading sunshine and joy, all the while singing show tunes about ‘beautiful mornings’…or do you sit on the edge of your bed wondering how it is that the week can take so long, but yet the weekend can go so quick.

Me, I don’t rest. There are no weekends, as you ‘normal folk’ know them. But back in the day of Monday-Friday, I fell in to the latter of the two options. Many mornings sitting on the edge of that bed. What, dear Otis, does this have to do with the main event, the man known as Levi?? Well, I don’t know about running around singing songs (in fact, there is only a small percentage of the population that will actually sing songs in the morning), but dang, if he didn’t put on a Friday disposition on a Monday Morning!

The Ladies of James (that would be Queen James and her faithful sidekick Kinzo) had a wonderful time working with this totallyawesomedude, and they would like to extend a big ol’ shout out to Levi for being a rockstar on a Monday AM, and to all of the rest of the Children of the Blog out there – Enjoy!

Chad & Amy

Is it time? What’s that…it is!! I’ll race you to the WayBack Machine – come along now, because our destination is a land and time far away from here. Have you ever been to the mythical land that is called Hazen? What’s that…you haven’t?? Well, are you in for a suprise, because we’re headed back to a time that, for your sake, I’ll just call ‘a few weeks ago’, because if I were to actually speak the name of this time in the actual space language of time, your head would expand to three times its normal size, and none of your trucker hats would fit.

Don’t worry, I’m gonna tell you…in fact…I’m gonna tell you right now the reason that we’re making this epic voyage. It is for the wedding of Chad & Amy! Can you believe it! All the planning, all of the hard work has all finally come together, and we’re gonna go right into the heart of it, because the O&J SuperCrew (shout out to my peeps Elise & Rob) had the good great opportunity of being a part of this absolutely wonderful day! Ahh…shoot, man, we was truly lucky that we were chosen to be a part of the wedding, and we’d just like to give some mad props as well (and for those of you that are still firmly stuck in the language of squares, that means that we would like to offer up thanks to…you got it??!!) to the lovely Bride, Groom, Wedding Party & Family for being so wonderful to work with!

The SuperCrew had an absolutely wonderful time with one and all, and the proof of this statement lies not in some pie chart, graph, or scientific notation, but instead lies in the SuperSweetSampleSnaps that are only a few more words away (remember, I get paid by the word, and I’m going on an adventure next week, and I need all the sweet sweet cash that Jamie will allow me to have…but enough of me). So, let us dispense with all of this writing, and get to the business at had, which is the wedding of Chad & Amy – Enjoy!

Justin & Shannon

This past weekend, we traveled to the far east, to a land that is known as the Grand Forks, and we didn’t do it for hockey, or sugar beets, or, any number of other thingst that they do in these forks so grand, no no no, we made this epic journey for one reason, and one reason only…the wedding of Justin & Shannon!

People came from far and wide, they converged on this town so grand in order to be a part of this wonderful day, and I’m here to tell you that any distance that was traveled was far worth it, as the day was filled to the brim with wonderfully happy good times, and friendly people!

Due to the far away place that Justin & Shannon live, the day of their wedding was the first time that we met face to face! We must admit, whenever there is a situation like that, a little bit of you wonders just what kind of peeps that you will be working with. But, this nervousness went away in a heartbeat as they, along with their wedding party and families couldn’t have been any more gracious and awesome to work with!

The day was beautiful, the couple was beautiful, and they made some beautiful photo-graphs! We would like to take a moment to thank Justin & Shannon for allowing us to be a part of their wedding, and to all you out there in the land of blog reading along with me, I say two things: MuchLove, and – Enjoy!

Erick & Amy

Now, my children of the blog, it is time to load ourselves into the o&j WaybackMachine (WBM), and to set the dials (yes, we have dials still) to a land that we shall call not this Saturday past, but this past Saturday past. Which would make it two Saturdays ago. In case that was too confusing for you. Which it probably was. And if so, much apologies. I didn’t mean to hurt your brain.

Well, seeing as how we have set the dials and pointed the WBM in the direction of this time and space, me thinks it time to stop at the wedding of dear friends to Otis & James, none other than the charming Erick, and the always lovely Amy…and, what’ that you say…it’s their wedding day??!! Yowza! Well, what perfect timing on my part then, huh!

Indeed, it was their wedding day, and what a day they had chosen. That sentence didn’t really go anywhere, but it doesn’t matter, as they had an absolutely wonderful day to work with, but any day would have been just fine with this couple, as their total and complete mastery of all things awesome ruled supreme on this day, and these powers would have done the same on any other day. Again, I’m not sure what that means, but I think that my brain (which may actually be hurt) it functioning on a higher level of understanding, so whatever it is that I put out there makes sense in some sort of a higher plane of existence, so it truly is, all good.

Back to the subject matter, Erick & Amy. What can I say about this couple, other than we had a truly wonderful time working with them! From Velva to the Studio, the good times came in boatloads (which is much greater than a carload), and we would truly like to thank them for being so wonderful to work with, and for giving us such awesome images!

Well, before I drift too deep into the inner realm of my mind, I think it’s time for us to put aside these words, and go instead to the pretty pictures. MuchLove, and – Enjoy!

Kelly & De Anna

Again, we fired up the o&j WayBack Machine, and set the controls for a space and time that was known as Friday Friday past, and it wasn’t just so we could get back to the way things used to be on the Sixth of October…the glory days that used to be…no, no…our trip is to a time that we will call from this time forward the wedding of Kelly & De Anna!

Shucks, now…we had an fantastic time working with this lovely couple, and their equally lovely wedding party! They were beautiful…they came to the day ready to rock, they had their poses worked out, they were pressed, starched, made up, gorgeous, and they came to rock our photographic world.

The verdict? Well, let me just say that our world was indeed, rocked. Now, those aren’t lite words coming from us. No no no, my friend. If I say it, it’s truth. It’s the Gospel According to Otis, and that’s some pretty serious stuff, now. Again, this was one of those weddings where we were given the beauty, all we had to do was to pick it up and put it inside of the camera. This was our mission, and we succeeded.

We would like to thank Kelly & De Anna for being so wonderful to us leading up to the wedding, and on the day itself, and we would like to give mad props (that means ‘many thank you’s) to everyone else involved with the day – you all rocked! Alright, alright, we need to stop saying so many words, and we need to instead just look at the good time happy pictures! MuchLove, and – Enjoy!

Cale & Brianne & Caden Too!

This past Sunday evening, our rare day of sun at the office continued with a visit from the lovely couple Cale & Brianne, and special guest star Caden!

What, oh what was the reason for all of this photographic aweseomosity to be occuring, you ask? It was for the sweet sweet e.pics of our new friends to the FunCenter, and perhaps even a family pic or two! And, this being the part when I calm all of your nerves out there and reassure that we did indeed do just what we set out to do, I will not be breaking from tradition, and I will again be letting you know that did do just what it was that we set out to do!

Yes, yes! I know that this last sentence doesn’t make sense, but if I were to begin speaking sensically now, I fear that you would think that your cool Uncle Otis had been replaced by the Otis 7000 SuperRobot. This is not the case. It is me. The Robot has been ordered, but it will mostly be answering the phones, and making lame jokes, and burning inscense, and reclining in his chair, with his Diet Coke, with his feet up on the desk, whilst engaged in phone conversations. Whereas, the real Otis will have much more time to devote to you, the faithful of the blog. It’s what I like to call a Win/Win situation.

So, you need to clear your minds of all this useless information and instead focus (did you get it, a photo-graphic joke!) on the matter at hand, which is this lovely family, and their superlovely picto-snaps! MuchLove to one and all for making it down to the FunCenter, and to all of you out there in the land of blog – Enjoy!

Fred & Kristin!

And then again, on this Wendesday Wednesday past, we were visited by the superlovelycouple that shall from this moment forward (well, this may be a little much, I mean, I didn’t name this couple, they came to us pre-named, and I’m taking a little bit too much creative license, and again, I apologize to the National Council of Creative Licensing for not abiding by the guidelines they have set out for me. I can not pretend that I actually created a couple, helped a couple get together, or performed a wedding ceremony for a couple. Again, to my fans – the people that pay my salary – I apologize. And to my family (I was raised by wolves) bark, arf arf, bark) shall be known as Fred & Kristin!

They came down to the FunCenter and said to us, “Check it out, Otis & James – if those even are your real names – we’ve come to town for a big ol’ batch of superawesome e.pics…and I trust that you will be able to provide us this service.”

And then we was all like, “Yeah…we can hook you up, but theres one catch…a caveat, if you will. You gotta be able to bring the skills to the shoot. You can’t just waltz in here and expect us to make the magic, the magic has to come from within.”

After a few moments in which all of us tried to comprehend what it was that was going down, we knew that it was time to enter the studio, turn on the lights, put a freshie card in the camera, and let the magic happen. Rest peacefully, dear readers of blog, because not only did this couple bring the skillz, they also brought the freakin magic. Both. Right here. Dang.

So, we’d like to take this moment to thank this wonderful couple for stopping by the FunCenter, and we’d also like to thank all of you out there in the cyberspace that stands between us for being the glue. Again, I have no idea what this means, but I’m really feeling this, too. Well – Enjoy!

Ryan & Jenice!

On this Wednesday Wednesday past (I’m not going to start up the WayBack Machine, as it is currently in the shop being pimped out…dayum!), our day come to a wonderful conclusion as we were visited by a wonderful couple that goes by the wonderful (whoa…I think that I may have just committed a flagrant abuse of the word wonderful there…I need to apologize, first, to my fans, because they need to have role models that will not let them down like this, and secondly, I need to apologize to the National Adjective Council, because even though they have warned me of the dangers, or pitfalls, of being part of such acts, I blatantly disregarded their instructions and went right ahead and thought that I could use ‘wonderful’ three times in the same sentence. We need to move forward from here, but I doubt that we’ll ever be the same…) name of Ryan & Jenice!

Ahh, man, I’ll tell you something…this loverly couple were simply splendid to work with, and the truth of this, shines through the sample photo-graphs that are waiting just a few more sentences away. But we gotta wait just a little bit before we get to the goods, as we have to take a little bit of time to thank Ryan & Jenice for stopping by the FunCenter for our sessionofsnaps, and I’d even like to thank all of you shining stars out there in the land of blog for going the distance with me. I don’t know what that means, but I really feel it. So, with this in mind – Enjoy!
