Variety Show Super Post Vol. II

The hour is late, my fellow people of the blog, but I come to you this fine evening/early morning with tidings from the Magic City Variety Show!

How awesome was it? How sweetly sweets was it? How righteously righteous was it? Well, my children of the blog, there hasn’t been a word yet invented that could adeqately describe with any adequetosity the amount of awesome that was put on display last nite!

So, instead of trying to describe it in any more detail, I shall just give you some pics from the festivities! See if you can spot our Seniors from this past year, and – Enjoy!

MM v.14 :: The Krista Edition!

Now, let me tell you about a day at some point in our not so distant past when we were visited by the ever-lovely Krista! She breezed on into the FunCenter, and the cause was that of getting supersweetseniorsnaps!

It was with great skill and ease that she breezed on in (did you like that…like poetry…and at no extra charge, I’m kind of like a modern day Dylan…that’s Wally Dylan, one of the very first people to have a blog about the pictographic arts, he’s kind of always been my hero for his crappy poetic ways…from what I understand he was a distant third cousin once removed of Bob Dylan…but not that Bob Dylan, This Bob Dylan was a wallpaper salesman from Collegedale, Tennesee), and the wonder and the beauty and the joy filled the FunCenter right on up to the brim, almost, but not quite to the point of overflowing! Incredible!

We had a truly wonderful time working with Krista, and when our time had come to pass, there was a moment when we could feel a collective tear forming in the corner of the collective eye of the FunCenter, but at that very moment, we knew that we would always have the sweetlysamplesnaps just a few words below to remind us of our wonderous times!

MuchLove to Krista for stopping on by the FunCenter, and to all of my peeps that are out there doing their best to keep it real in the Land of Blog, and trying their best to keep the spirit of Wally Dylan alive – Enjoy!

MM v.13 :: The Colin Edition!

Now there’s a couple of ways that we could do this.

The first would involve me rambling on and on, aimlessly trying to tie together words that should have no business being tied together by any means whatsoever, in the hopes that I could create some sort of a cohesive paragraph or two or three about something or another. In the end, you would feel kind of strange while reading, but once you got to the pictosnaps, it would all seem to be worth it…maybe.

The second way, well, it would go like this:

Colin. Righteous man that came to FunCenter. He came in the name of peace & pics. He was good, real good. MuchLove to him for giving us some of his sweet time.

Well, which one do you think we should do? Survey says…the second way. Parfect! Because that’s just what I was thinking too. I love it when the minds of blog & the mind of Otis are on the same page.

A’ight (street slang, remember?), thanks again to Colin for stopping down, and to the rest of the good citizens of blog – Enjoy!

MM v.12 :: Michaela…The Conclusion!

Just a couple more from the one and only Michaela! We had the best of summer, and now the best of winter. I don’t know where I’m going with this one, so I think it best if we just say ‘MuchLove’ to Michaela for giving us a little bit more of her sweet time, and to the rest of my peeps chillaxin in the land of blog – Enjoy!

MM v.11 :: The Rebecca & Dan Edition!

Is it just me, or have these Midnite Meditation (MM) posts lasted for a few days now? Well, either way, it’s midnite somewhere (and yes, my faithful of the blog, I am aware that this is now how you are supposed to spell this word, so just let it go and accept that I’m gonna spell it this way, and there’s nothing that you can do about it), and I’m about to meditate hardcore on Rebecca & Dan!

Uhhhh…I’m not quite sure how exactly it is that you mediate hardcore on something or somebody, but that is not for us to discuss right now. My friends, I come to you today (and, as I write this I am actually sitting in a waiting area at the Nissan dealership in Bismarck…the o&jMobile needs some love, and miracle of miracles, the dealership has wireless, and since I always have my trusted laptop with me – it still has no name, nothing cool like Schroeder or anything like that, it is just a little guy with a small dent on the cover, but again, I have not come to you today to talk about this stuff either, it was just an aside to show you just how dedicated I am to delivering the goods to you, the faithful of the blog) to talk about the goodlygoods that were got, the sweetlysweets that were had, and the totallyawesome time we had this past week working with the one and only Rebecca & Dan on their e.pics!

They busted on in to the FunCenter, which happens to be the Center of Fun, and they showed us how to totally and completely rock it up, e.pic style! Again, I’m not sure that that sentence means, nor do I really need to be sure. The only thing that I really need to communicate to you with any certainty is that we had a totally awesome time working with this incredibly special couple, and we are so glad they chose Otis & James for the job!

We would like to give mountains and mountains of Love to this wonderful couple for stopping by, and for being so great to work with! And to you, my little people of the blog, my faithful of the blog, get ready for the goods, and – Enjoy!

MM v.10 :: The Dani & Josh Edition!

Ladies & Gentlemen of the blog, I present to you Dani & Josh. Singlehandedly bringing sexy (with a side of cute) back to the blog.

Which is a good thing, because at some point during this past year, Otis seems to have misplaced the ‘sexy/cute’ and tried to substitute ‘awkward/annoying’ instead, thinking that nobody would notice. After many long months of what Otis had thought would be an alright substitute, people finally had enough of all the awkward situations. Otis pleaded with them, “But I love creating awkward situations!!! I love that feeling of uncomfortable silence!”

Alas, nobody else was in agreeance with him in this situation, and they all knew what would have to be done. We were going to have to call in none other than Dani & Josh…as they would be able to restore the mojo to the studio. So, it was with great anticipation that we began this shoot, as we all knew (even Otis) that the time of awkward had come to pass, and we must now look forward to starting this new age of supersexysweet in the land of FunCenter.

MuchLove & Thanks to Dani & Josh for helping to save the FunCenter – you had a big job, and you did it well, my friends…you did it well. To all of you that have been suffering in the land of blog during the time of awkward, it’s time to throw of your chains and – Enjoy!

MM v.9 :: The Anna Edition!

Are you ready to rock?

I said, ARE YOU READY TO ROCK! Because I’m about to lay down some dope beats as we embark on a journey of lovelypictostnaps that were taken of a young lady that calls herself…Anna!

Now, ladies and gents, as we get ready to leave on this journey, I’m going to ask you to put away your cell phones, close out of your MySpace & facebook profiles, stop messaging people, turn off the TV, and free your mind from any other distractions that may prevent you from fully enjoying the totally and completely rocking pics that are Anna…because she needs your total and complete attention, because she is just that awesome!

She came down to the FunCenter, and the rest was a magicalfantastic time that came to an end far too quickly (if that sentence did not make sense, this is not your fault, as it was designed to leave you scratching your feet). MuchLove to Anna and her entourage for stopping by the FunCenter, and to all of you that are keeping the faith in the Land of Blog – Enjoy!

MM v.8 :: The Tana Edition!

There was a period of time that I would often ride around in grocery carts. It was not recent, it was actually quite a while ago. Actually, it was when I was a wee lil’ Otis, and I could still fit into the front seat of the cart. I loved it. It was, perhaps, one of my most favorite things to do. I was not one of those children that would freak out in the grocery store. No no NO, my friends, I thought of it as riding on a chariot, and it was finally a time when my parents were working for me. Mush…Mush…my chariot must go faster up and down these aisles.

World, check it out. I own this grocery cart. MmmmmHmmmmm. So, it was with great sadness when the time came that I finally had to relinquish the seat in the grocery cart. I tried to hold on for a long time. I would plead to ride in the cart, and my parents would say, “Otis, you are getting to be too old to ride around in the cart. You’re a big boy now, and you can walk with us.” Otis would ask them to just let him try to get into it, and they would oblige. And when he got to the seat, he would try to cram his much too large frame into a seat that was designed for a three year old (did I mention that I was about eight at this point?)

Painful is the only word to describe it for me. Embarassing is the only way to describe it for my parents. Without any words being said, I crawled back out, with the realization that my days as the powerful chariot rider were over, and now I was just another commoner…destined to walk the floors of the Grocery Store like all the other working stiffs.

Which brings us here, to this very moment, and the lovely time we had during this past week (and I’m using the term ‘week’ a little loosely here, folks…remember, time is elastic) working with the one and only Tana!

She was living my dream…she actually had her own cart. I was envious, but I tried to not let it show, as I must be the bigger man now and not let such small things bother me (but daaaaang…if I didn’t want to get my hands on that card and have my assistant Benjamin push me around the studio. Mush, Ben…MUSH!

MuchLvoe to Tana et. al for stopping by the FunCenter for the sweetly pictosnaps, and I think that one and all out there in Blogville will agree that the results were fantasticlywonderous (that’s a new one)! There is no more need for words, we must look at colorful pics instead – Enjoy!

MM v.7 :: The Delaney & Emma Edition!

Really.

What can I possibly say that can’t be described by the pictosnaps below.

Sunshine! Pure Sunshine!

MuchLove to Delaney & Emma (and their loving entourage as well) for stopping by the FunCenter and letting us bask in the glow of their georgeousosity (not a word, but it is right now)!

We need not waste any more time with words, as it is now time to revel in the love – Enjoy!

MM v.6 :: The Children Strand Edition!

Ahhh shucks now, the Otis & James Train of Love Tour 2007 kept on-a chuggin’ down the streets of the FunCenter, and next up on the tour iterary was a visit from the totally awesome Children Strand!

Sometimes, all you gotta do us just open up the gates to the FunCenter (which, by the way are currently being installed at our superawesome new studio…dang!) and let the good times roll! In fact, the good times were not only rolling, they were rocking and rolling! ROCKING AND ROLLING! Now, for those of you out there that are in the photog. biz such as we are, you know that good times often roll, but it’s a superspecial treat when the good times rock AND roll – you gotta hold on tight when it goes down, because the results are always going to be sweetlysweets!

What kind of a time do you think we had with The Children Strand? Huh? What’s that? You says you thinks we had a superawesome time and we probably were wishing that our time together was never going to end? Yes!! You are correct!

MuchLove to one and all for making the trek to the FunCenter, and for allowing us to work with this dynamic duo. All of you, rock. And roll. And to all my faithful peeps out there in the Land of Blog keeping your fingertips warm by the gentle glow of your comp-u-tahs – Enjoy!
