TBWMYF v.9 :: Valerie & Jeff!

Mic Check. Mic Check. Is this thing on? Are we broadcasting? Wha…we are? You mean they can hear me? Oh…well…OK. Here goes then.

Ladies & Gentlemen! I come to you today with good news! News go grand that you’re all bound to leave this broadcast with a tune in your mind and a smile in your heart! I’m not even sure if the heart is capable of smiling, but I’m going to have our research staff (ed. Brittany, that’s you) get right on that and let our good people of blog know the answer to this question just as soon as we get to the current matter at hand, and that is the righteously awesome engagement pictosnaps of the one and only…Valerie & Jeff!

Before they walked into FunCenter (if it’s the weekend, I’ll call it ‘Studes’), I was sitting there talking to my fish that lives in a plant, and the conversation was something along the line of how could life at FunCenter be any better! No sooner had I said that then this awesomelyawesome couple walked on in. I immediately looked at fish and knew life had actually just gotten better!

Valerie & Jeff were totally awesome! They sweetlyrocked, they sweetlyrolled through the shoot, and by the time it was done, we knew the goods had been had. Well, my dear audience of blog, now is the time that we need to say MuchLove & ManyThanks to this wonderful couple for stopping down to FunCenter, and to all of you out there in land of blog – Enjoy!

Megan & Chase!

Dig now, if you will. I think that a Prince song starts like that. Wait..something like, ‘Dig if you will a picture’. Yes. Prince. I like that, very much. Dig if you will, my peeps of blog, a picture. Dig if you will, many pictures. Many happy beautiful pictures, and this time these pictures that I want you to dig are of a wonderous couple that we, for conversation sake, shall come to know as Megan & Chase!

They came down to Center For Fun & The Study of The Effects of Helium Exposure To Create Funny Voice (CFF&TSOTEOHETCFV) to get some sweetlysweet e.pics! Now, if you don’t mind here, I’m going to take a moment for us all to go down a road that I like to call ‘Digression Avenue’ (I almost wrote ‘Transgression Avenue’, but I don’t know if all you all really want to go down that road with me quite yet). Now, your old Uncle Otis (aging by the minute), due to his actions during the majority of the 1990’s and the first few years of the 2000’s, his memory can get…well…we’ll just call it ‘kind of hazy.’ And sometimes, when writing these entries, he has to (and yes, I do love refering to myself in the third person – I feel so much more official, or creepy, or something like that) rely upon notes that are scrawled on various surfaces (his hand, forehead, etc.). And sometimes, he gets the det’s (that’s kØØlio speak for ‘details’) all mixed up. Names, dates, times, etc., all fall into a strange realm of no return, and your Uncle Otis starts to get liberally relaxed with all the info.

Now, I’m sure that most of you are sitting there in your comfortable houses and homes and what not of Blogville wondering what this has to do with anything. Well, let me give it to you straight, my fellow people of blog. I am going to say that the one and only, the ever-lovely Megan & Chase came down to Center of Fun for some sweetlysweet e.pics (and for all of you that are still living in the land of ‘squaresville’, that means ‘engagement photo-graphs’), but there is a pretty good chance that they just came down for bf/gf shots (and people, please…I’m not going to explain to you what those abbrev’s mean), and if that’s the case, then I’m going to be starting some pretty crazy rumors about this wonderous couple. I’ve always wondered what the consequences would be if I were to confuse something like that. Like, what if I were to make this mistake, and the next day their parents were to look at bloggityblog and suddenly find themselves thinking that they have been left out of the loop on some pretty seriously big news…but alas…that is not the case with this gor-ge-ous couple.

You see, while I’ve been typing this epically longwinded post, I’ve done a little bit of research, and I have a verdict for you. Yes, they are getting married. Yes, these are e.pics. But I knew all of this already, I just needed to fully activate my brain, and I soonly realized that we are even going to have the goodly great pleasure of working with Megan & Chase on their wedding day! HipHop…Hooray!

Well, the Gettysburg Address was shorter than this, and I do believe that it is time for us to put all of these words to bed, and get to the goods..and thats the samplesnaps. MuchLove & ManyThanks to Megan & Chase for stopping down to Center of Fun for the snaps, and to all of my constituents out there in land of blog – Enjoy!

Tasha & Blake!

At some point during this past week, the doors of the FunCenter opened up and and we were joined in our fresh paint and carpet glue filled confines by the one and only supercouple of all supercouples, Tasha & Blake!

They came down to the FunCenter not to discuss the proper way to make a Reuben with the one & only Otis, and they did not come down to discuss with Benjamin D. the proper way to stay cool when the temperature rises above 64º, they did not come down to discuss with McKinzey the proper way to say ‘Oopie Doopie’, and they did not come down to discuss with Jamie the proper way to not sign nuthin’…oh no, my friends…they came down to get some totallysweetlysweet e.pics!

And they came down to wait while Otis frantically tried to get a printer to work. Well, I’m pretty sure that they really didn’t come down for that part at all, but they did spend a fair amount of time doing it, so I feel that it warrants some mention (both Otis & The Printer thank you for your patience while they were battling in the basement), but mostly they came down for the sweetlysnaps!

And, my dear friends, sweetlysnaps is exactly what they got themselves! And I know this because a sampling of the sweetness can be found just a few keystrokes away. I guess that the amount of keystrokes can really be defined by me, so instead of pushing y’all to the limits on just how far I can push you, how about I just stop all of this typing and get to the point.

MuchLove to Tasha & Blake for stopping by! MuchLove to peeps of Blogville! And to a certain duck named Nacho – Enjoy!

Serena & Sheldon!

Here we go. Mic Check. Mic Check. Alright, I think this thing is on. OK. So here goes.

Ladies & Gents! I come to you today with some good news, and this good news is not that I’ve finally figured out that I prefer dijon to yellow mustard, and it is not that I’ve discovered an alternative to fossil fuels, and it’s not even that I’ve finally figured out what they dilly-yo with the Loch Ness Monster is. No No No NO!

The good news that I come to you with is that after a delay during which the ever-lovely Serena & Sheldon languished in some sort of a blog nether-world, one that was neither here nor there, they weren’t up, they weren’t down, they just kind of were, well…after being in this world for a while, they have finally made it to the part of the blog that is visible to the outside world! They are free from the nightmare that has been the unpublished world of blog! Welcome to this new version of reality, my friends!

The reason that this wonderfullypatient couple first entered the doors of the FunCenter was because they needed some supersweet e.pics (remember, you know what that means now!), and since we were offering some supersweet e.pics on the day they stopped down, this seemed to be a perfect match!

We had a totally goodlygood time working with this fantastic couple, and we wished that our time together would never end, but I’m pretty sure that after hour number fourteen of Otis telling stories of his ‘wild years’, they would have given anything for our time together to end, so it did, and it was, and it shall be. What? I’m not sure if that worked, but sometimes my fingers move, and I can’t control what is going on. Well, enough of this chit chat. MuchLove and ManyThanks to Serena & Sheldon for giving us some of their sweet time, and to all of you out there in your pleasant blog homes – Enjoy!

Jill & Ben!

How does that old song go, that old standard…this is how you do it, baby? Is that it? Didn’t Sinatra make that famous? Judges? What’s that…not Sinatra? Oh well. Could have sworn that it was. Yeah…uhhhh…so that takes us to…where was I…OH YES! Jill & Ben!

The reason that I was thinking of that ol’ chestnut was because the totally awesome Jill & Ben stopped down to the FunCenter the other day for some righteously sweet e.pics (and my period of what e.pics are has come to an end, you’ve got to figure this out on your own…I know you can do it…I know you can!), and they – as the song implies – showed us how it was done, baby!

Jill & Ben, by the way, are the Grand Prize winners from the Fianceé Bridal Show this past January, and we couldn’t be any more excited to be a part of their wedding! In life, you are rarely the prize winner, but we’ve found that being a prize giver can be just as good!

Well, I think you’ve all had enough of these words, and it is time for us to gaze at the pictographic sweetness that is…Jilly & Ben – Enjoy!

MM v.11 :: The Rebecca & Dan Edition!

Is it just me, or have these Midnite Meditation (MM) posts lasted for a few days now? Well, either way, it’s midnite somewhere (and yes, my faithful of the blog, I am aware that this is now how you are supposed to spell this word, so just let it go and accept that I’m gonna spell it this way, and there’s nothing that you can do about it), and I’m about to meditate hardcore on Rebecca & Dan!

Uhhhh…I’m not quite sure how exactly it is that you mediate hardcore on something or somebody, but that is not for us to discuss right now. My friends, I come to you today (and, as I write this I am actually sitting in a waiting area at the Nissan dealership in Bismarck…the o&jMobile needs some love, and miracle of miracles, the dealership has wireless, and since I always have my trusted laptop with me – it still has no name, nothing cool like Schroeder or anything like that, it is just a little guy with a small dent on the cover, but again, I have not come to you today to talk about this stuff either, it was just an aside to show you just how dedicated I am to delivering the goods to you, the faithful of the blog) to talk about the goodlygoods that were got, the sweetlysweets that were had, and the totallyawesome time we had this past week working with the one and only Rebecca & Dan on their e.pics!

They busted on in to the FunCenter, which happens to be the Center of Fun, and they showed us how to totally and completely rock it up, e.pic style! Again, I’m not sure that that sentence means, nor do I really need to be sure. The only thing that I really need to communicate to you with any certainty is that we had a totally awesome time working with this incredibly special couple, and we are so glad they chose Otis & James for the job!

We would like to give mountains and mountains of Love to this wonderful couple for stopping by, and for being so great to work with! And to you, my little people of the blog, my faithful of the blog, get ready for the goods, and – Enjoy!

Trish & Chad!

The rocking and rolling 24 hour a day superpartay that is Otis & James continued with a visit from the superfantasticallywonderliscious Trish & Chad! And why, oh why, do you think – my fellow bloggerites (technically, I’m the Mayor of Blogville, and you are my faithful servants, but as a good politician, I will pretend to be one of you, in order to build up enough trust to get me elected to another term, which, in all reality, I don’t need to worry about as I have temporarily permanantly suspended all open elections until further notice in the interest of ‘national security’ – even though it is more just in the interest in my own ‘job security’) – that this sweetly couple stopped down to the FunCenter on a day so fine?

Let me tell you this, and this only. They came down for some superawesome e.pics! And guess what, get some superawesome e.pics is exactly what they did do! Because would I really come here and tell you that they didn’t? But that’s not for us to worry about at this moment, as they did, and this is all that matters!

Much fun was had in the FunCenter, and none of it would have been possible if we hadn’t have had the good fortune of working with the one & only Trish & Chad! We would now like to give some serious serious shout outs (really is it still 1997) to these two lovely peeps for coming down to the FunCenter, and to all of my ‘fellow’ bloggerites – Enjoy!

Jessica & Kyle!

There was this one time, and we were sitting around in the FunCenter (do I use that word too much? You know, the term ‘FunCenter’ really started off as a joke a long time ago, but has since grown into an actual term, and now I think that the studio is really known more as the FunCenter than as the studio, which is good, because the term ‘studio’ kind of resides in the Land of Lame (LOL…wait…no pun intended LoLz!) and it is a good thing that we were able to get rid of the term stu-stu-studio and instead come up with a sweetly sweet term that has way more street cred (and for those of you that don’t know, street cred is what makes the FunCenter different from all the rest…what we got you couldn’t come up with after a meeting or much discussion…oh no…what we got comes from the soul, and if you don’t got soul, you don’t got it. Got it?) than the term ‘studio’ – like, seriously, every lame photog from here to kingdom come has a studio, but we’s got oursleves a FunCenter, and I’d like to see you top that, yo) wondering how it was that our day was going to be saved from skulduggery and boredome, and what should happen at that very moment but we should have the good fortune of being joined by the one and only Jessica & Kyle for some totally awesome e.pics!

Yay!

All was right in the land of Otis & James (not in any way related to the ‘Land of Lame’) as we completely and totally tore it up during our all together too short, but yet totally sweet time together! We would like to extend MuchLove to this wonderful couple for giving us a little bit of their sweet and prescious time, and to all of you out there wondering if I’m ever going to get to this one magic word – Enjoy!

What you have just witnessed is an affliction affecting many of our nations youth. They are called ‘MySpace Fragmented Sentences’, and they will be the downfall of society as we know it. Really now, it is a problem that needs to be addressed from our local municipalites all the way up to the highest reaches of society. Our youth need to be aware of proper punctuation, proper use of uppercase and lowercase, and most importatly, what constitutes a complete sentence. Here, let me give you an expample:

We had a wonderful time working with Ashley & Eric during their sojourn to the FunCenter this past week! Our time was filled with sunshine, roses, love and beautiful photographs! We would like to extend a large bag of thanks to this wonderful couple for giving us a little bit of their sweet and prescious time, and to all of you out there in the land of blog – Enjoy!

See??!! Easy as that! You have been made aware, there are no more excuses. It is up to us to stop this problem. Gods Speed. And, MuchLove! Oh…one more time – Enjoy!

Rachel & Reggie

Alright! Alright! I know you’re anxious to hop aboard the Otis & James WayBack Machine for another exciting adventure! I KNOW! But the WayBack Machine had some radiator problems this past week, and it’s totally been in the shop for like twice as long as they said it was going to be. You know how that goes…you bring it in for the radiator, and then they discover that sombody has shoved a bananna in your tailpipe, and your windshield washer fluid has been replaced by butter pecan syrup, and what you had thought was a radio is actually a cardboard cutout, and in the end, it turns out that the WayBack Machine is going to be in the shop for quite a while longer than you expected.

Really, have you ever tried to find a mechanic that can actually service a WayBack Machine? Luckily, there’s a guy that lives near Mohall, and he used to work at a WayBack Machine dealership during the 1970’s, and he’s totally THA MAN when it comes to working on these things, but, since he knows that he’s the only person that you’re going to find to work on these things, you can only imagine what the cost is. Thank goodness he does that ‘trade for services’ thing with us…the unfortunate part for us is that we are not just shooting pics for him, but for his children, his childrens children, and his childrens childrens children. Seriously…WayBack Machines are a pain. You may think that you want one, but in the end you’re just left with something that looks like a ’77 Monte Carlo, get’s .0000000000012 MPG, and all of your neighbors hate looking at in your driveway.

Which brings us to Reggine & Rachel! All aboard! Next stop…a space in time known as not this past Saturday, but this past Saturday past! You heard me right, children of the blog, that’s two Saturdays ago! We’re travelling all the way to a land called…well…the other side of Minot. So, we’re totally going to have time to stop at Loaf-n-Jug on the way there and get a couple of burrito’s (while the car was in the shop, I had them put a little dorm fridge and a microwave in the backseat…but we’ll have to wait to enjoy them until after this post is ovah.)

The reason for this epic journey in a machine so unsafe/unsanitary is the wedding of the suphadupah couple that we call, in fact, the whole world calls Rachel & Reggie! Ahhh shucks, man…what a totally and completely righteously rocking day it was, and how lucky good ol’ Otis & James were to be a part of the magical fantastical that was their wedding!

I could go on and on and on and on with all sorts of words. Some fancy, and others just plain misused. I fear, however, that all of these words would bore you even more than normal, and I know how much you want to get those sweet ‘ritos in the microwave. So I shall now just extend our love and congratulations to this wonderful couple, and to all of you out there in the land of blog that I like to think of being my super special friends – Enjoy!
